RV camping near Pueblo guide

Overview

With amenity-rich Pueblo RV parks just outside of town, RV campers can easily access the restaurants and museums in this high desert gem, along with the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk and epic kayaking at the Pueblo Whitewater Park. For more water sports, head just west of town to Lake Pueblo State Park, with 60 miles of shoreline, boat ramp access, and RV sites that offer water and electric hookups. Further south, head to Lathrop State Park or Trinidad State Park for campgrounds with sites that have full hookup and picnic tables. Or, explore the tallest sand dunes on the continent at Great Sand Dunes National Park, where a seasonal campground can accommodate RVs up to 25 feet in length. Here you'll find picnic tables, drinking water, flush toilets, and a campground store, but no hookups or showers. During your trip, drive the Gold Belt Tour National Scenic Byway to explore historic sites and mining ruins, or head to the Pike and San Isabel national forests to hang amid rugged peaks. WIthin the national forests, you'll find plenty of campgrounds with sites for RVs, though no hookups.
