PLEASE NOTE: We have entered MOSQUITO SEASON!!! This seems strange for Colorado but our meadow is surrounded by wetlands. It’s the worst when the sun is setting. Highly recommend bug spray.
We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind).
We've got Boulder's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, gas grill, and a lovely porta-jon.
We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out.
We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!!
We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. It’s a saving grace in the summertime.
Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR. The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG.

She was centrally located in a nice area between all the places we needed to be during our time in Colorado. I would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to come back. Perfect for a nights sleep. While our rig, 60 feet in total length, was a squeeze turning around, that’s entirely my fault. After I completed my 9 3/4 point turn, we were able to back up next to the barn and connect to the new 50 amp service and extend our slide under the watchful eyes of 4 donkeys and a horse. The hosts came out and were very nice, made sure we were OK, and apologized for “bothering” us. My wife and I, with our two dogs, spent the evening watching a storm roll in with wonderful lightning and rumbling thunder in the distance. The sight is very private, and I’m sure on a clear night, has amazing sky views. I got a great nights sleep. In the morning I woke up to the same watchful donkeys and horse outside one window, and three goats and a couple dozen chickens out the other. After getting some coffee in me, I went out and greeted the donkeys and horse and then the goats. All of which are very friendly.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted by deer and turkeys on our very first morning, which made the experience even more special. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and everything is kept very clean.
The little store has a bit of everything you might need for camping, swimming, eating, or fishing. The husband and wife who run the property are incredibly kind and welcoming.
The full hookup sites are a little tight, but still very manageable. You can even see Carter Lake right from the property line.
We will definitely be back!

Fantastic location outside Lyons and accessible to area mountains. The water flowing through the property was a key feature, the pooled waterfall areas were ideal for swimming. Our dog was in heaven. Very impressive what Dot and Byron have done with the different types of camping on the property. Hosts were friendly and super helpful.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at Rocky Mountain RV Retreat. It was great letting our dogs run around off leash on the fenced property, and it was a perfect launch point for short excursions: hiking along the middle St. Vrain, and beautiful mountain drives like Peak to Peak and the highway from Raymond to Lyons. This property is in a residential area as described, but it's oh so quiet and peaceful. With help from Grayson we had no trouble backing in to the RV spot with our 21' trailer. Be sure to fill up with gas in Boulder. The elevation and switch backs will drain your tank getting up there (ask how we know)!

This place is truly so special. Everything felt so safe and the vibes at night with the live music and lights were excellent. During the day the access to coffee, the hot tub, sauna, clubhouse, slack lines, and trails felt like a vacation in and of itself. The staff were so friendly and helpful and this place just had great vibes overall. I stayed in a car camping spot and always had access to the showers and power at my site.

Great cozy facility nestled in a canyon with a beautiful creek running through it. We used a van/car spot, so not the hostel or hotel. The car sites have a nice deck to use, great spot to put a couple chairs and listen to the creek and watch the wildlife. Awesome lawn and chairs scattered throughout for relaxing. The beer on tap was great, with nice patio seating and easy couple minutes drive to downtown. We had planned to spend the day in boulder checking it out, but loved the grounds so much we stayed at camp all day and just enjoyed nature.

A-lodge is a great location from which to visit Boulder. Enjoyed hearing the adjacent creek through the night and the bath facilities were clean and always available. Loved the sauna! You can sign up for public time up to six people for free or for $40 rent it privately. Great view of the river from the sauna and a perfect temp. Bluegrass Music night on the patio was nice and ended early enough for quiet time at night. Would def stay there again when visiting Boulder!

It was a wonderful escape that left much time for gratitude and a longing to return. It filled up the spiritual tank and satisfied the appetite for the solitude and oneness I so craved. The neighbors were nice, the weather was gorgeous, and I slept like a baby. I will be returning. And I can only hope that Grayson and Tina are there when I do so that I can meet them, and we can all share in this beautiful piece of Heaven on Earth and Smile.
