The land is not far from the entrance (about 15 minutes drive)You will need to bring your own little table and chairs + whatever else you wish to have there.There is no bathroom or trash on the land. Please pack everything back out with you and discard once you reach a public trash.You will enjoy over 2 acres of privacy, endless views, starry skies complete with sunrise and sunset :)    (The city allows us to camp on our private vacant land only 4 nights a month, and of course does not allow short term rentals. For that reason a suggested donation of $25 per night is all that we are asking from our hipcamp community to help keep the space maintained :)

We are located 10 minutes from The Integratron, 25 minutes from Giant Rock, Joshua Tree National Park, and 40 minutes from Johnson Valley. Halliday's liquor store is 10 minutes, with $5 pizza place (delicious!) / gas station 15 minutes away. There is even a nearby Landers thrift store and La Copine restaurant. Shooting area about 15 minutes away. I can list SO much more, but I'll let you come explore the hidden gems Landers has to offer. There is a firepit set up onsite for your convenience. I have a very private campsite that is off grid. There’s an outhouse with a camping toilet, a large deck to lounge and watch the sun rise or set. You can pitch a tent on the deck or on several cleared spots on the ground. JT national park is a 15 minute drive and there’s a corner mart nearby. You can use the trampoline, there’s a fire pit (bring your own firewood), and please bring your own camping chairs, water, toilet paper/wipes and you must dispose of your waste 🌞🌵🏜️ I previously offered the cabin for guests to stay in but it is no longer available.

Beautiful 5 acres of nothing but views. It's named "The Slab" simply because that's what my family has always called it. I am currently testing this as a place for campers, so please leave feedback so it can be improved. Eventually, there will be a picnic table setup for campers, and designated open spots for more vehicles to park/ flat spots for more tents. There is running water available on the slab but I am in the middle of figuring something out how campers can utilize it. Stay tuned! UFO Enthusiasts, Rock Climbers, Urban Explorers, Off-Roaders, Artists, Musicians, and all are welcomed! We are located 10 minutes from The Integratron, 25 minutes from Giant Rock, Joshua Tree National Park, and 40 minutes from Johnson Valley. Halliday's liquor store is 10 minutes, with $5 pizza place (delicious!) / gas station 15 minutes away. There is even a nearby Landers thrift store and La Copine restaurant. Shooting area about 15 minutes away. I can list SO much more, but I'll let you come explore the hidden gems Landers has to offer. There is a firepit set up onsite for your convenience. So glad I found this spot, as much as I love J-Tree, getting a campsite on the weekend always felt stressful and Airbnb's weren't the nature experience I craved. Competitively priced with the in-park camping spots without the feeling of being crowded in with other campers. The campsite is in a prime location only ~5 minutes from the Yucca Valley Walmart (a frequent pit stop for me) and not far from the park entrance . Beautiful plot of land out of earshot of neighbors, with nice views of the valley. Just know what you're signing up for as a primitive camp, the only true minus for me was the low din of road noise from the nearby highway. I think that was balanced out by the lack of potentially noisy neighbors which you can experience in the park.

Camp Debs Place was an amazing Site. If you are a first time camper or someone that doesnt enjoy full on camping (No Shower, No Bathroom, No Amenities), this is the place to be. Deborah has everything you need, full running shower, full running bathroom, sites big enough for large parties, and even a coffee room! Everything was so clean as well. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would 100% come back. Debroah was very attentive to our needs and responded with in a timely matter when we had questions. Only downside is the site being close to one of the main roads, so it does get a little noisy with cars driving by in the middle of the night. But, other than that, 10/10!

We had the best time at Camp Deb’s Place! It is truly one of the most kid-friendly spots we’ve ever stayed at. Even though we brought our own travel trailer, Deb had everything available and thoughtfully set up for families. You can tell she really thinks through the little details that make a stay easier and more fun with kids. The bus with the game room and table was such a hit…it added a whole extra layer of fun and made the experience so unique. We felt so comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend for families looking for a stress-free, memory-making getaway!

I stayed at Deb’s campground 2 nights. It was a great experience. Deb has put a lot of thought and effort into creating a positive, comfortable experience for her guests. There is a restroom and shower, which makes camping so much easier. Although we didn’t use it, there is a large outdoor kitchen with everything you need to cook your meal. Overall, it was a positive experience and I’d definitely return.

We explored the area and found the boulder cave which was pretty cool. We ran into a few people that live in the area and everyone was very friendly.

We had a wonderful time at Boulder Gardens. Such a beautiful piece of land. Rick was so great and the other people from the community were so kind and helpful. They gave us great tips of cool sights to see and awesome hiking trails around the campsite. There is so much art and beauty to see. This place is definitely a hidden gem tucked away in the dessert. Amazing spot for stargazing, great visibility! The weather was great when we stayed there in early February. During the day it was sunny but still cool and the nights were chilly but nothing a few layers couldn’t help. We felt very relaxed and peaceful during our stay. It was wonderful to get out of the city for a bit. The campsite was very clean and well kept. The portable restrooms were the cleanest portable toilets i’ve ever seen! Lol. The boulder valley and yoga deck was a wonderful spot. Felt very secluded but still close enough to the main area so if we needed something or had a question we could walk over fairly quickly. We loved to see the peacocks and animals. Since the spot is fairly close to the main community area, we had a few dogs visit once in a while. One big black dog kept coming back and would nap at our campsite and keep us company. He was such a sweetheart. Overall 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a little weekend camping trip. We will definitely be back again and bring some friends!

We have a 22ft van that easily fit into the many campsites to choose from. There is a picnic table and trash can at each site, and 2 flush toilets and sinks that are shared. THE BEST PART IS THE LOCATION!! You are literally right next to the parking lot of Pappy and Harriet’s, and on the main street of Pioneertown. This is perfect for people who are catching a show or spending a day in Joshua Tree NP. Hosts are sweet and welcoming. The sites are not shaded, and spaced far enough part to offer privacy. 10/10!

3 nights at Boulder Gardens Sanctuary

LOVED my stay at Boulder Gardens Sanctuary! It is truly that, a sanctuary garden of endless boulders to explore. I stayed at one of the camp sites and could spend the entire day in complete solitude with nature, or go up to the community area and chat with some of the kind and welcoming residents happy to share stories from the land. I did the guided hike with Robert - cannot recommend enough!! After spending my first couple days exploring the rocks solo, he took me on a path I would never dare explore on my own - through tons of caves and cool rock areas, sharing tons of plant knowledge along the way. (If you aren’t used to bouldering, wearing gloves helped a lot). It’s such a magical place, I wish I had more time to spend there enjoying the deep peace and stillness on the land. This was my first visit to the area and spending time in the desert, it was such a stunning landscape to connect with. I can’t believe it’s real, and I can’t wait to go back! If you are someone who values deep connection and reverence with land, you must stay at Boulder Gardens. From the endlessly massive boulders to the tiny magical plants, it’s a place of endless wonder.
