We want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so please take note of the following guidelines: Swimming is not permitted in the lake and there is no swimming pool available. Fishing is currently closed. Pet owners will be pleased to know that their furry friends are welcome, but there will be an additional fee added to the reservation. Wi-Fi is provided by a third-party company and a separate service fee applies. Please note that we cannot guarantee the speed, rate, or troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi service. For your convenience, a wash station for dishes is available on-site, and the Joshua Tree Laundromat is located 9 miles away in downtown Joshua Tree. For campfires, it is important to keep them contained inside the designated burn barrels and never leave them unattended. In the event of high winds, campfire, and BBQ use may be suspended for safety reasons.

Newberry Springs, California is a very small peaceful town located off of Historic Route 66, also known as the "Mother Road".
It is most famously known for our groves of pistachios and the famous Baghdad Cafe which was featured in the 1987 film Baghdad Cafe. Our property happens to be 1.5 miles from the famous Baghdad Cafe which makes a quick visit to the Cafe incredibly convenient.
To celebrate our Pistachios, come join us the first Saturday of every November for our Pistachio Festival which boasts lots of vendors, food, and fun!
Speaking of festivals, if you like large firework shows in the sky, then you'll want to be sure to book a spot here every July 3rd for our big 3rd of July Festival which again, is home to lots of vendors, food, fun and an amazing firework display which we happen to have front row seats to. You won't have to worry about parking if you're already here!
Do you love celestial events? If so, you'll want to book a site here between July 17th and August 24th for the 2025 year, to witness the Perseids Meteor Shower. Our night skies are also one of the best views for many Space X launchings as well as just simply stargazing. I have a very private campsite that is off grid. No power. No water. Bare bones minimal just a spot to pop a tent with wind and sun protection and a view. There’s an outhouse but the camping toilet that is provided is NOT maintained. Bring your own TP, camping bags and please leave clean for the next person. There’s a large deck to lounge and watch the sun rise or set. You can pitch a tent on the deck or on several cleared spots on the ground. JT national park is a 15 minute drive and there’s a corner mart nearby. You can use the trampoline, there’s a fire pit (bring your own firewood), and please bring your own camping chairs, water, toilet paper/wipes and you must dispose of your waste. Refunds not given for any mess other campers have left behind. Your fee covers a place to pop a tent with a view. Any issues you encounter I encourage you to report. 🌞🌵🏜️

We are located 10 minutes from The Integratron, 25 minutes from Giant Rock, Joshua Tree National Park, and 40 minutes from Johnson Valley. Halliday's liquor store is 10 minutes, with $5 pizza place (delicious!) / gas station 15 minutes away. There is even a nearby Landers thrift store and La Copine restaurant. Shooting area about 15 minutes away. I can list SO much more, but I'll let you come explore the hidden gems Landers has to offer. There is a firepit set up onsite for your convenience. Just love camping on this private site. Very clean & private. Host was very gracious with early check in request. Arrived during nice weather, then the winds & light rain kicked but it just made our camping experience so much more worth it. Would definitely recommend this site. We will be back, we just love this Host’s land.

Nicest RV resort I’ve been to. Full gym, pool, jacuzzi, desert views and spacious sites. Skip the pull in sites for the back in sites with better views and more space. Stayed here for Coachella and it was a great home base and close enough if driving/taking Uber. Wasn’t super convenient if taking shuttle though.

What a fabulous experience we had. The entire area is absolutely beautiful. There’s a community feel yet very private. The pool, the outdoor kitchen, the Quonset hut all adding to the charm!
We stayed in the shipping container and found it really fascinating. I simply can’t say enough to express our delight. We will come back and bring more friends to share the joy. Thank you Tao, for creating this oasis in the desert!

Sarah’s land was the perfect place to car camp! Very secluded, even from the other camping spaces. The port-a-potty was spotless!!! It was even cleaner than most hotel bathrooms! The Joshua trees were the perfect setting to watch the sunset and sunrise. Definitely will be staying here again, especially when we go back to explore the National Park further.

This was my first time booking with Hipcamp and I was delighted.
The small cabin was adorable with absolutely amazing views during the day and the night.
Hot tub plus star gazing is the best.
It was a little hard to find. Make sure you use the link in the HipCamp app and not plugging the address into Google maps.

Jeanette & her family were very friendly. Communication was great. She even left a little welcome basket for us. Nice level spot with plenty of room to maneuver our motorhome & trailer. Would definitely recommend them! Thank you for the hospitality!!

We came here for the hot tub/pool situation and it did not disappoint. The sunsets painted the sky and mountains with color while we took them in from the hot tub with a drink in hand, and the stars blanketed the landscape at night.
