They are about 300 feet apart and not easily visible from each other. Property is fully fenced; both sites are next to an open field under the oaks with vineyard, olive orchard and mountain views. This property is 30 miles from Paso Robles and almost perfectly centered between Missions San Antonio and San Miguel. Lakes San Antonio and Nacimiento are close by. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Sheer cliffs attest to area being underwater, long ago. Galaxies overhead at night are awesome and free from light pollution. Thus, great stargazing! Cattle and forage hay ranch, but cattle could be anywhere on the property. Absolutely no open fires. We are part of an Agricultural Conservancy. We do offer ranch tours at various times of the year. You may request a tour for an additional charge, when available. You'll have a 360 degree view overlooking the Santa Lucia Mountain Range as far as you can see to the West and the Sierra Nevada Range, as far as you can see to the East.
We are conveniently located about 15 minutes off Hwy 101, to the North of San Miguel, and offer a private place to relax and rest overnight on your way to or from your other destinations. It is quiet! Occasionally, coyotes howl at night or our two handsome Angus bulls bellow, or a wild boar family grunts as they head from one location to another, usually with an entourage of piglets... just passing through. They are all part of the local country in California and add to the beauty, if you're fortunate enough to hear them from afar. The boar migrate and may not be around for weeks, as they have traveled elsewhere. You may miss all night sounds except the breeze, as most nights are completely silent. It's a rejuvenating experience!
Please ask if interested in local day trips or points of interest, and we will try to accommodate you. We will suggest local activities. Lakes Nacimiento, San Antonio and Santa Margarita are an easy distance. All three are quite different from one another. Wine and Beer get a lot of press and rightly so, but there are other relaxing and inspiring activities for all, available when you are here! Each community has a city or town park, so you can enjoy relaxing or playing with your children on hot days, under tall, well-established trees. Everyone needs time to exercise, especially children!
Camp Roberts, just North of Paso Robles, has two military museums to visit and the West Garrison is just over the 101 to the West of us! Kitchen: The communal kitchen has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, BBQ, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, oven, and ice maker. The kitchen has A/C and heat.
Other Shared Structures: The Lounge Barn, Legends Saloon, Loading Dock Stage, Antique Barns and the Game Room.
Evenings: Evening time at Almond Springs is spectacular. There is no light pollution, and the stars are amazing! The space is also well lit with intimate café lighting.
Weather: This is a remote country space. The Cabins and Kitchen both have Heat and A/C. Please come prepared for what the weather predicts for San Miguel, CA.
Dogs: We allow up to two dogs. They must remain on leash at all times. There is a $50 pet fee per pet.

Cellular Service: Cell Service is spotty but we have Wi-Fi for you to connect to!

A beautiful spot in a vineyard with peaceful rolling hills with tons of privacy in Paso Robles Wine Country. We offer a level spot beside a barn surrounded by apple trees and acres of vineyard. There is a small fire pit. A perfect location for outdoor activities and wine tasting around Paso Robles Wine Country, secluded and surrounded by nature. Live working vineyard, may experience vineyard operations from time to time.
FALL DISCLOSURE:
Two nights of harvesting will happen between late September and late October, but unlikely disturb your stay (though we cannot not guarantee as we are an operating vineyard). It's kinda cool to watch if you happen to be here during our harvesting of wine grapes. If desired, contact us a few days before your scheduled stay to get the harvesting schedule.
Our tasting room is currently closed for daily tasting, the upper buildings on the property may be rented out for private parties and overnight stays. These buildings are approximately 300 yards from the hip camp location and are not in direct few of our Hip Camp site.

As of now Central Coast wineries are requiring tasting appointments by reservation under California law as of 2020. Weekend reservations are highly recommended. Weekday reservations can usually be made day of.

Barbara and Dan bought these 37 acres in 2005. It had no improvements. The only thing it had going for it was a 250-year-old oak tree, and its location in the heart of wine country. We would come up and camp under the tree, and plant. In 2007, we drilled a well. In 2008, Dan proposed under the tree, and we brought in power. We have continued to make improvements since. NOTE: This property is located in a very private country area. It is approximately 8 minutes from the small historic town of San Juan Bautista. We meet our first time guests at the Park & Ride as a welcome courtesy so you can easily follow us in and around the potholes on our rural roads!

Looking for your next great stop in your Sprinter van or rooftop tent? You’ve found it in Monterey County! Park your fully self-contained camping vehicle beside our organic vineyard, just 2.5 miles from the Westside entrance of Pinnacles National Park. Due to the "no pets" policy at the Pinnacles National Park, and because we have working barn cats on site, we also have a "no pets" policy on our property. You can be at the gate right when it opens and snag the best parking spot without the morning scramble.
After a full day on the trails, return to the vineyard to catch the sunset from one of our comfortable patios. Stay out a little longer, and you’ll see the sky deepen into a canopy of stars — this is a designated dark-sky zone, and it shows.

Saddle Mountain is an oasis tucked into the hills of Carmel Valley. We arrived just in time to set up our VW pop-top and go on the wonderful 5-mile roundtrip hike that is on the property. Fantastic views. It poured the night we were there, so didn't get to enjoy some of the wonderful facilities (pool, fire pits, etc.), but will definitely go back.

Extraordinarily clean and well kept “glampground” tucked away in an oak forest on a hill. We stayed at site 39 for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The bathrooms were nicely appointed and clean, multiple dish washing stations, lovely showers. My only critiques are the noisy gas leaf blowers and depending on the campsite there isn't a lot of privacy. However these were small issues and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

This was a good place to stop for the night. It was quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed seeing all the stars since it was pitch dark. The fireplaces were a really nice touch and the picnic table was a helpful thing to have.

Great stay for a last-minute booking. The site was exactly as advertised with the power and water we needed. We booked the 50-amp site with a 30-amp RV, and Eleazar had an adapter ready for us, which was a nice touch. The site was quiet, peaceful, and felt very private. We would stay again.

There are very few, if any, places to stay on the west entrance of The Pinnacles and driving to the east gate where the campground is located takes about an hour. A stay in this vineyard is a perfect t solution and would be a top pick even if there were several options. We left the trails and were at our site within 10 minutes just in time to watch the sun set over the mountains. Choose sites 1&2 for sunrise over the vineyards or 3&4 for sunset over the hills. Enjoy!

What a special, beautiful place. The blue oaks and ground squirrels and bunnies were the cherry on top for this amazing adventure.
Veronica, our host, was so informative and welcoming and shared all kinds of awesome facts and history about the land she humbly stewards. Wildfarmers is a pretty cool nonprofit that is really honoring the land and restoring it to its natural splendor! We loved our daily check ins with Veronica and really hope to come back and see her one day.
Getting to the spot was simple enough if you really read the instructions they send you. It did seem at times like a, “where even are we?!”, moment— but that just added to the adventure.
I’d say probably closer to an hour to get to the park, but honestly we enjoyed our time at the campsite more than the park. 😅 zero service and limited amenities. Make sure you have wood, ice and gas/fuel before heading out on Little Panoche.
Site 4 Ravens is closest to amenities and at first it seems a little unexpected because there’s a kind of “junkyard vibe” to the area where the bathroom and shower are. But honestly, bathroom was clean and well kept and the “junk” added to the charm of the place.
You’ll fall in love with the calm here, the stunning stars and little bunnies & ground squirrels. 100% recommend.

Vynyl Vineyards is a charming and welcoming spot. The campground was clean and well maintained. Sites were not crowded. The Hosts, Jeffrey and Dina were warm and responsive hosts. Although we camped in our own rig, I loved the Disco Ball Room available for let. There is really an option for everyone. We also enjoyed sampling their tasty wines. We are walkers, so it was not an issue to walk from campsites to the road for Ubers. It was a 20 minute walk.

Check in was super easy. We got there right before the office closed and they kindly directed us to our site. The site itself was clean and well maintained with a picnic table and fire pit. Hook ups for water and electricity were readily available (the 30A plug was a little wonky but we got it to work). The overall campground was lovely, nestled among the trees on the mountain. There was a nice play area for kids with a small playground structure and games. The pool looked awesome but it was a little too cold to get in it. We did the hike up Saddle Mountain our last morning and were rewarded with gorgeous views of the valley after 2 miles up. The location is close to Monterey if you plan to do activities there or Carmel. Highly recommend staying here!
