You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond.
Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees.
Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens.
The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request.
Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up.
A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark.
Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch. Some games and puzzles are provided.

Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land.

Osprey’s perch is a small campsite perched above the Salmon River. The pit toilet is just downhill from the camp at the end of a trail winding down through the meadow and to the right. There is private access to secluded swimming and fishing holes on the lower Salmon River down the meadow trail and to the left. A bridge provides shelter from rain if needed. The area is known for its world class steelhead fishing and is unparalleled in its natural beauty. The elk even stop by occasionally on a late winter/early spring morning if you are lucky enough to get the timing right… I hope you enjoy our most recently additions, tent pads on a nice deep bed of chips, and a dog run for your best friend!

This park gets its rather self-descriptive name from the six beautiful rivers that flow through its borders, but don’t the name fool you. There is a lot more than just rivers to check out here. More than a million rambling acres of forest take you through foggy and mystical redwood landscapes. Further inland, miles of towering Douglas firs, glacial peaks, and hidden pools just wait to be discovered. Of course, the rivers are the main attraction. You can’t go two feet without tripping over a perfect swimming hole. After your dip, there are plenty of warm rocks to lay out on. Oh, and if the natural beauty doesn’t get you: this was the place where they first spotted Bigfoot. Yeah, the original footage that basically made everyone believe in the hairy bi-ped. Welcome to the Wild West Coast! Where the mountains meet the sea.
The campground is remotely located on private property and perfectly located for excursions to the Pacific Ocean, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, the Smith River National Recreation Area, and the Pacific Coast Ranges and mountain lakes such as the Devil's Punchbowl, Buck Lake, and Raspberry Lake.
Relax and free you mind while camping on 120+ acres of private property under starry skies with almost no light or noise pollution. You are not alone on the mountain as other people live here in the wild. You only have access to the campground and a nearby pond. A locked gate with code access. The road to get there is two and a half miles up the mountain, the first mile is paved and the other mile and a half is gravel. The road is maintained by the county and used daily by others that live and work here. In the surrounding area you can enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, surfing, beachcombing, birdwatching, and countless other outdoor activities. French Hill Trail is a few more miles up the mountain road.
The campsites have picnic tables and fire rings, and campers are provided with 5 gallons of potable water. An outdoor, COLD-water Artesian shower, out in the open mountain air with the wild things and an outhouse with a compost toilet are also provided. Bundles of firewood are available for an extra charge when you book your campsite.
The campsites are set within a deciduous and pine forest at about 1913 feet in elevation. There is a pond on the property, but its purpose is for wildlife habitat ONLY, so water activities are NOT allowed. NO swimming, NO fishing, NO boating, NO trapping, etc. The wild things live here!
The property owner has a dog, three cats, and a menagerie of yard birds such as turkeys, peacocks, guinea hens, chickens, ducks, geese, etc. They do make noise! Kirk has lived off-grid for over twenty years and holds a wealth of information about the Gasquet/Del Norte County area.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of the property is that it has had documented Sasquatch encounters over the past twenty years that have been published in "Tribal Bigfoot" (D. Paulides 2009). Kirk can tell you about his experiences with this and other phenomena on the property.

Still Moon Farm is a boutique mountain farm growing East Asian medicinal herbs. We sell mainly to tea purveyors, clinical herbalists and national herb distributors. Located around 2,800 feet in the Siskiyou mountain range. The region was initially inhabited by the Dakubetede Native American tribe. Come park your camper van or trailer on my 7 acre property. I am an Interior Designer and have converted the former mule Barn into an Outdoor Summer Living Space with dining room, living room, kitchen and patio. Attached to the barn are an outdoor shower with hot water as well as a composting toilet.
Al Fresco Dining, Showers in the Sunset and occasional outdoor movie nights are waiting for you here on the Hill in the beautiful Applegate Valley.

Please note: I live here and so you will see me around daily, usually I tend the gardens or you can find me around the barn. However, I will respect your privacy!
The dogs who live on the property are usually free roaming and they will for sure come visit you, they are all friendly. I am emphasizing this, because if you are scared of dogs, are not used to dogs or do not like dogs, my place (unfortunately) might not be the right spot for you :-(.

Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. From ridge-top to riverside, guest are immersed in pristine nature, breathtakingly fertile and rugged landscape. The land is teeming with plant and animal life. The nights are very dark so stargazing is a treat! The property includes 1/4 mi of river, numerous ponds, big open meadows and close to a mile of property road, plus a forest trail. With 1/2 mi on the main road are a number of trailheads which access a large trail system. In the larger area, there are numerous lakes and trails.
Each cabin has easy access to a composting toilet and bath or shower. Firewood is included at each cabin for the wood stove. The tap water is drinkable, otherwise there will be bottled water for you.
We cannot have open fires and don't allow smoking on the property. We prefer not to have dogs.
There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property.
This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know!
Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events.

We stayed in Black Bear Cabin. For me, the linens on the bed being of great quality and washed in decent detergent was huge. It made the stay.
I also noticed thoughtful details throughout, like log seats around the fire pit. The cute vinyl record player, the walking trails. And the kids liked the mini-golf course as well.

We used a tent-site at Mystic Forest as our base for 3 nights while we explored the Redwoods in mid-April. As often happens during rainy season, there was a 12 hour rainstorm through the night and into mid-day the first night of our stay. We were grateful for our extra tarps keeping us dry!
The host was welcoming and helpful! To our delight, we found a decent sized enclosed dog area for our pup to roam. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, with hot showers and a large basined sink outside for cleaning dishes.
We look forward to using again for our next adventure in the area!

What a lovely piece of forested land on the Illinois River! Since it was mid week and still cold, we were the only people staying at Cedar Bloom. We loved that. We took a lovely sauna each morning. And hung out in our van in the cold and rain. Cedar Bloom Farm is a magical place with lots of variety of places to stay in from an A Frame bedroom, Dome, and concrete Pod. It must be fabulous when the Women's Spirit Weaver Retreat takes place!! Did I mention the composting toilets? Amazing!
We did make a visit to the Oregon Caves, well worth the windy 40 min. drive. They are spectacular!! Only suggestion would be to lower the price during the Winter/early Spring since half of the facilities are closed. Thank you, Mea

Very beautiful setting! Playground, game room and walking trail were very neat. We had the campground area almost to ourselves due to the wet weather. We utilized the laundry room multiple times, also due to the wet weather, and it was so handy! We came in the off season, so it would be interesting to see what things are different during the main season when the gift store etc., are open. Very nice campground, would come again!

Camping here was fantastic! Patti is such a great host and came over to use when we first got in and chatted us up and gave us some great recommendations on what to do in the redwoods. The site when we were they had lots of space and the bathrooms and showers were clean and it was nice having warm water to shower with. I would recommend to people looking for a tent spot by the redwoods.

We had a magical time. Dar was such a helpful host. He showed us and all our kids the farm and by the end of the visit our daughter was following him like a shadow just like the new baby lamb Juan that followed him around. We enjoyed the walk in the redwoods at the edge of the farm. The bathroom and shower was clean and a fun outdoor kitchen had everything you need. We left with half a truck full of plants/starts and pockets full of seeds. Our heart was full upon leaving. A definite gem in crescent City. Very family friendly.

Sarah’s land was an amazing place to camp. It felt very safe, with hot showers, friendly hosts, and even WiFi after hours of having no service. You get the best of both worlds—being surrounded by beautiful nature while still enjoying the comfort and security of her yard.
