Fishing offers trout, catfish, big and small mouth bass or perch. Visitors can also see the Folsom Powerhouse (once called "the greatest operative electrical plant on the American continent"), which from 1885 to 1952 produced 11,000 volts of electricity for Sacramento residents.
For cyclists, there is a 32-mile long bicycle path at Beals Point that connects Folsom Lake with many Sacramento County parks before reaching Old Sacramento. The park also includes Lake Natoma, downstream from Folsom Lake, which is popular for crew races, sailing, kayaking and other aquatic sports.
At both locations, you will stay in 16ft deluxe tents. Each tent has 2 full beds in them.
At Beals Point we offer "Luxury" Glamping with real furniture, cozy bedding, and all the amenities you need for a relaxing and fun filled stay for up to 8 people (AT BEALS POINT ONLY!).
At both Beals Point and Peninsula, we also offer "Basic" Glamping, where we bring the tent and mattresses, and you bring the rest. This means that you need to bring your own sheets, pillows, sleeping bags, blankets and other camping essentials. Close by the sites are public restrooms with running water, drinking water, and showers. Hiking trails are found all around at both locations. At Beals Point you can rent kayaks, visit the snack bar, or take a dip in the lake- whatever suits your needs can be found close by!

Our private camp is located riverside on the South Fork of the American River. Our sites are located next to the river under shady oak trees. You'll have a private place to relax and swim at the river. The river is swift but we have a few calm pools in front of our resort to wade and float in. We have modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers for your use. We can accommodate large groups in site 1 and we have smaller private camp sites 2 and 3 as well.
Our Yurt is located on a bluff overlooking the river. The yurt can accommodate 2 adults. Please bring your own bedding, towels and other items.
We have a kitchen area available to large groups and special events for an extra charge. We provide a picnic table and trash can for each private campsite. Wood fires or charcoal cooking are not allowed after July 1 due to fire danger. You may bring a small gas stove or propane grill to do simple cooking. There are several places to eat within a short walk from our campground. We do not allow cars to drive down to the campsites in order to keep the sites pristine. Cars are allowed to park in our main area in our private camp and carts are provided for the short walk to our camp sites.

Our 32 acre Winery is located about 30 miles East of Sacramento on I-80. Just 2 miles from our beautiful bustling Old Town Auburn. Where you will find restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, breweries and more. We are one of the oldest, and largest commercial wineries in Placer County. During the Pandemic our family built bridges that access an island that was hidden with berry bushes for over 40 years. It's amazing what a couple of chainsaws and a Kubuta tractor can accomplish in a couple months. We have a flushable toilet and sink available with a shade structure and some pic-nic tables under gazebos. There is enough seating to sit almost 200 people on our island. Equipped with a concrete stage and dance floor, wine bar with Hard Cider on tap (seasonal.)
We have 3 bridges that connect the island for a small loop. It's about 2 football fields long.
There is a community fire pit in the middle of the island (sorry no fire pits allowed in the parking lot or any other area.) BBQ's are welcome! Also corn hole is provided when the weather is nice.
There are cows that roam about half of our property, along with wild turkeys, coyotes, rabbits and other wild animals that live among us.
The camping spots are in our gravel parking lot that easily accesses the island. You're more than welcome to book your stay for that time as well.

When you stay make sure to take time for the wine tasting, makes the place a unique experience. Super close to Auburn which made it easy to visit the town.

My group had such a great time camping at the Oak site—it far exceeded our expectations! The convenience of having the river just about a 3-minute walk away was amazing. The kids loved floating and playing in the water while watching the rafters pass by.
The covered benches, sink, and prep area made preparing meals so much easier. The showers were also a great bonus, and we really appreciated the host stopping by to refill the propane and empty the trash.
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Rock n Water cove has to be on the top of our favorite camp sites we’ve visited so far!! Hosted our family reunion here recently- 20 adults + 6 kids. We had reserved both the Hilltop and Moe site which was perfect since it just a short walk from each other. There were plenty of options for us to spread our 5 tents, had 3 long picnic tables, a canopy for shade, and an outdoor sink which we appreciated so much as we are a family that loves to cook!
Bathrooms and showers with hot water were a short walk away and were always noted clean!
We spent our day at the beach area which was so fun for us as we got to watch rafters and people canoeing down the river. Water had enough shallow areas for the kids to dip in and play.
There was also another trail that lead to another beach which I wish we found sooner and it had even more spots for the kids to run around and explore.
The hosts were so kind and attentive! We even got one of the hosts to play a funny game as he was passing by our site. lol.
My entire family had such a great time that we are already talking about come back!!

This is our second time camping here and it was just as amazing as our last visit. So peaceful to be by the river for the weekend and fall asleep to the sounds of the river. The site was huge and far away from other campsites. We will definitely be back again!

This was our first experience with camping at a camp such as Nauvoo. The hosts were amazing and more than accommodating. One of the hosts even walked my dog for me while we unpacked our equipment. The campsite and bathrooms were really clean and well maintained and there is plenty of wildlife. My son and I had a blast catching crawdads and lizards and I even caught a decent sized brown trout! Amazing experience, highly recommend

This was our first time camping with our two-year-old daughter, and Laurie, Greg, and the entire host team made the experience so much more special. You can really feel the care and attention they put into every detail.
The campground is very well organized and has such a peaceful, welcoming energy. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, and the bathrooms were always clean.
We were also there to celebrate our daughter’s second birthday, and on Saturday, during the community campfire, they surprised us with an incredibly thoughtful gesture to celebrate her with us. It was such a simple but meaningful moment.
Experiences like this remind us how much connection can be found in simple moments and in people taking the time to truly see and care for one another. It brought such a beautiful sense of humanity to our weekend.
We left with wonderful memories and are very grateful to Laurie, Greg, and everyone who helped make our daughter’s first camping trip and her second birthday so special. We will absolutely come back.
