We loved our stay at River Park Resort! The campsite was very clean and just a short hop and skip to the beautiful river. The sights were amazing, and we really enjoyed hanging out by the water, which was flowing nicely and felt very peaceful.
This spot is definitely kid-friendly — my 2- and 4-year-olds enjoyed every bit of it! With a big group of about 20 people, check-in was a breeze and the restrooms were spotless. We all can’t wait to come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly camping experience.

We stayed at Site 2 with our family, together with our close friend and his family. The site was perfect for our camp setup, and we still have a lot of space for the children to play around. Accessible to the bathroom and shower room as well as the washing station. Porta-potties are clean. Even at nighttime, there are lights on the path to guide you while walking. The whole place was clean and well-maintained. Even if it’s along the road, you can barely hear any vehicle sounds because of the sound of the rushing water from the river. It was a perfect getaway location, plus they have a very friendly doggie that gets along with our dog—great place to reset from our daily busy lives. Our site is in a flat area and is accessible to use the camp amenities and access to go in the water. During our stay, there are no mosquitoes. Lastly, Mike is a great host and surely gives you the information you need. Very much recommend his place 👍👍👍👍👍

Mike’s land is literally goals. Had a group of 25 of us and had alot of space within a walking distance to the river. The showers and toilets are super clean, which was a big plus.
Mike is very understanding and easy to communicate with! And his dog roams around the property which everyone enjoyed.

Mike is a wonderful host! An added bonus is Brody, the cutest camp dog ever.
The area is well maintained and gorgeous. Great river access with chairs and umbrellas. It’s close enough to walk to a local brewery if you don’t want to cook. Would come and again and highly recommend!

Our group had a fantastic tent camping experience on Mike’s land. The site was private, spacious, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The access to a private beach and stunning views made the stay even more special. Host was very helpful and the amenities were great. Wagons were provided which made hauling our things from the parking lot to our campsite very easy.

This place is perfect for camping. We were first time campers and totally loved the place. From all the help we got from Mike to help us set the tent when we had issues to the beautiful scenery around the tent. The river, fireplace and clean bathroom/showers was perfect for our little family with kids and 2 dogs. I would definitely come back here again and would highly recommend anyone planning to camp here. Mike is super helpful and love how he was ready to help and available. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Perfect 2-day getaway. We had the entire place to ourselves for most of the stay, except for the welcomed visits from Brody the camp dog. Nice private beach area. Close to places to eat if you don't want to cook.

This was a terrific spot! The campground was clean, nice and level. Plenty of space for the tent and other camping gear. The bathrooms are close by and very clean.
The spot on the river is really special. There’s a beach at a calm spot in the river so you can easily get in and swim. There’s a very, very small rapid that you can float down in an inner tube.
Right outside the entrance to the campground is a great coffee shop and a pizza place. There’s a maker close by. So even if you don’t bring all your camping food there’s easy and good options.

Beautiful, quiet campground along the American River. You can’t drive up by you are provided wheel barrels to carry stuff down. Site 2 was within seeing distance of the parking lot. Site 3 requires a longer, rougher trail, and sits behind the beach area. The beach is great for kids and pets. Chairs and umbrellas already installed! Lots of shade and space at the sites. Walking trails along the river. This is your hole in the hill campsite, that won’t be overcrowded, but is nicely located near places to eat and shop. Enjoy the sounds of the river, yells of those jumping in, and the constant supply of kayaks and rafts floating by. Showers and toilets were extremely clean. My kids were bummed we weren’t staying longer. Needless to say we’ll be back. Only con is you can hear/see the traffic across the river but it really didn’t bother us.

The abundance of shade trees provided a welcome respite from the sun, making our campsite feel like a tranquil oasis.
The cleanest restrooms I've ever encountered at a campsite - a true luxury! Mike's attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pristine environment made all the difference.

I loved camping here! We tent camped in river front site 2 and it was so close to the river. I loved that we could hear it from where we were. I really liked that there were restrooms showers, and an area to wash dishes available to use. Mike was a great host. It was a very fun and relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend and come back again 😁

We loved this place! Our campsite, Riverfront 2, was perfect with plenty of shade and flat spots for our tents. We could hear and see the river from our table. We had access to showers, flush toilets, a wash sink, and a mirror! It felt luxurious. We enjoyed the shady, rocky areas along the river and the sandy Bonnie’s Beach. The entire resort was clean and well cared for. We saw Mike and his dog Brody each day, making the rounds, and he met our every need. It made my birthday weekend special. The river was cold and fast! Just wonderful! We will stay there again, as will my friends!

Mike and Bonnie were great hosts. Mike was very accommodating whenever I had to purchase ice or if I had any questions on the camp site. All sites are beautiful and site 1 and 2 were very accessible and close to the facility amenities.
We stayed in camp site 3 which was large enough to fit around 4 tents and still include a hang out area, and no matter where we were on the site, we still had a great view of the American river which was only a short walk away. We also had great access to the beach. Site 3 was the most secluded from the main facility, and gave an amazing, secluded experience. However, it overlooks the best beach and runs parallel to the path that connects that beach to the other sites. This leads to a very private experience most of the time, except when those areas are being enjoyed by other guests. Also, the trail to load your gear from the parking lot to the site can get rough depending on your physical ability. Mike does offer a sizable cart to help with but, just be prepared for a bit of a work out loading in and out if you choose site 3.
All in all, my partner and I are blown away with the beauty of the site, the ease with which to access the water and with the hospitality of the hosts and we look forward to coming back in the future!
