Learn more about this land: Our private camp is located riverside on the South Fork of the American River. Our sites are located next to the river under shady oak trees. You'll have a private place to relax and swim at the river. The river is swift but we have a few calm pools in front of our resort to wade and float in. We have modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers for your use. We can accommodate large groups and small private camp sites as well. We have a kitchen area available to large groups and special events. We provide a picnic table and trash can for each private campsite. Wood fires or charcoal cooking are not allowed after July 1 due to fire danger. You may bring a small gas stove to do simple cooking. There are several places to eat within a short walk from our campground. We do not allow cars to drive down to the campsites in order to keep the sites pristine. Cars are allowed to park in our main area in our private camp and carts are provided for the short walk to our camp sites.

Riverfront Group Site 1

The yurt was great - clean and cute. Despite having a yurt with comfortable beds, my kids slept outside to enjoy the beautiful night sky, sounds of nearby river, and cool breeze with their cousins (who were camping in site 1.). The basketball court, grassy area (impromptu football game) and areas to wade in the river all kept the kids entertained. Thanks for a fun and memorable time!

Riverfront Site 2

The camp site was clean and had recycling and trash cans handy. Very close to the river and a short walk to bathrooms and shower. Really great spot, convenient to the river and local restaurants, and rafting.

Awesome Stay

Amazing campsite and facility. Showers and bathrooms were great the the whole campground was very professional and the sites had plenty of privacy. Mike was very accommodating.
