Lots of open space and a nice picnic table, good for our camper van overnight stay on our way to our next destination. Easy to book and enter the premises without any issues finding a site for us. Had a good bathroom and a hot shower.

This ranch was a beautiful place to stay, I wish I could have stayed longer! As a female traveling solo (with my dog 🙂), I felt very safe because there were families around and everything was fenced in. The sites have a lot of room to spread out, the fire pit was perfect (even had a fire poker with it, how nice!) The stars were beautiful. I didn’t stay long so I didn’t have a chance to use their kitchen area but it looked very nice and tidy. The bathroom?? Probably the best bathroom I’ve ever used on a camping trip, lol. It was clean, had everything I needed, and the sun shower was amazing. (I wasn’t expecting hot water, so that was such a nice surprise!) 10/10 recommend for anyone coming through the area! 😊 Going a bit off my route for this spot was well worth it.

We had good time camping at Matt”s campground, nice shower and toilet and be sure to check the wind. We had a windy stay for the second day and our tent was biggger one and couldn’t hold and so we left early but the place is good. Also be mindful of little critters

We book kinda last minute (the day before) and it was a great pick! The owner is ñ nice and kind, was very helpful. The place is beautiful and has everything that was offer. Water, wood, toilets, table, chair, boats… There is a lot of animals and it can get noise at any time. We had a very relax weekend, and we will definitely will do it again. We got to pet some animals a little hike, mornings by the pond. The 4 yo had a blast (it was a surprise for her)!! The husband got some bad allergies but even he enjoy the farm.

It was a wonderful quiet, clean, safe environment. But the best part was the host family, they are so friendly and helpful. It was a joy staying on their property. The apple turnovers were amazing.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this camping site, especially for families with young children. The site itself is large open fields that provide plenty of space for tents, games, and relaxing. Scattered throughout are beautiful, mature trees that offer generous shade, making the entire area both comfortable and scenic. What truly makes this place special, however, is the unique experience it offers for children. Roaming freely around the campsite are friendly peacocks, pigs, and dogs — creating a magical, petting-zoo-like atmosphere. Just a short walk away, the ranch area features cows and alpacas that little ones can watch up close. It feels like a blend between a nature preserve and a working farm, creating memories that kids (and adults) won’t forget. The hospitality of the owner and his team was outstanding. Both he and his worker, Brian, were incredibly warm and welcoming. They delivered a generous amount of firewood directly to our tent using their tractor — a thoughtful gesture that made our stay so much easier. The owner personally greeted us. He even shared that the trees around the campsite were planted back in the 1970s by him and his students, as he was once a teacher — a touching detail that added a sense of history and care to the land. The pricing was more than fair: $30 for a night’s stay and $20 for a large bundle of wood. It was evident that they weren’t in it for profit, but rather to share a space they love and take pride in.

Weekend Trip to The Foxes Family Farm

Great spot. Fun little cabin with all the essentials for a trip away from the city. Quiet setting, peaceful atmosphere. Farm cat was friendly and welcoming. No problem finding the site but we are local. Neighbor’s roosters are a bit loud very early but not a nuisance. Would stay again.

Beautiful location on the edge of a pond. Alan was warm and welcoming, as were his dogs and the local wildlife. Would have loved to stay longer, but a wonderful place to stay.

We loved staying here!! Kat and her husband are both friendly and helpful, and they are excellent communicators. The farm is beautiful, peaceful, and dog-friendly. The site had everything we needed. The laundry and available shower were most appreciated, and the dogs had a great time smelling all the smells. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved staying at the cabin. It’s so close to town, yet feels like you are far away in the countryside, with chickens and birds and trees all around, and the water is just a short walk away. Waking up to the sound of birdsongs and rustling leaves, without any noise from cars, people or airplanes, felt like a dream come true. It was also such a pleasure to meet the lovely hosts—and of course, sweet and friendly dog Willie! ❤️❤️❤️
