The L3 Ranch was founded in 1974 when my grandfather bought the property for his show cows.  In 1978, someone gave him a racehorse to pay off a debt. From then on, the property was known for its Quarter horse race horses, with some of the best in the state being born right here. In 2013 he found our he had cancer and handed the ranch down to me, Travis.  While he survived the cancer, he's happy in retirement playing cards with his buddies every week and hanging out with his dog.Now the ranch is known for its horse boarding, cattle, and goats. We even hold weddings and events at the lake sometime.  My main goal is to bring the ranch in a more in line with sustainable ranching. Its a process, but I love what I am doing, and where the ranch is going.

Aimed at providing a comfortable, convenient and safe facility for tourists to spend the night and refresh, Scottie's Motofarm boasts multiple lush green lawns for tent camping, many shade trees, clean and civilized indoor toilet facilities with a locking door, free wifi, a private walk-in shower/changing room large enough for two people with a locking door, outlets for phone charging, laundry washing machine (no dryer) and kitchen food prep area with fridge. The ranch is comprised of the camping lawns, camping facilities, several homes on the property (two Air BnB and the owner's home) and the motorcycle workshop. Car and RV campers are welcomed and there is plenty of car/RV parking on the asphalt lot outside the fence at the East Side of the property near the mailboxes at the intersection of Rte 4 and Brice Station Road.

We really enjoyed our first stay on the ranch! The spot is perfect for families with kids and dogs, trailers or tents. The extra amenities like row boats, firewood, plenty of seating, huge picnic/cooking area and flush toilets really set this place apart. Travis was a great host and made our stay stress-free and super relaxing. (The weather was beautiful at the end of October) We can’t wait to go back!

Our campsite (#24) was huge! Flat, compact, clean, and had a lot of tree coverage. Loved the hawks flying all over the place and perching on the huge tree right above our tent. Bathrooms are simple but very clean. Offgrid but hot water is provided at certain times. I will most def go back here.

Our time there was very private and safe. We had to leave our RV for a few days to look for property to purchase and everything was left the same when we came back. Our RV was left a few times in a trusting environment behind an electric gate. At arrival, you are given a remote to this gate to come and go as you please. Our spot was secluded and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this rv park to a friend. I had several dogs with me and they were very happy as well. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of room for your furry loved ones.

Good and large campsite big enough for our group of 8 guys. Fishing lake was really close and we caught about 8 monster bass. Toilet facilities left a lot to be desired. Frogs jumping in the toilet (eek!) Port-a-John had lots of spider webs and ant inside. (eek!). Other than the toilet situation, it was a cool spot.

Scottie and the crew are super nice guys! There are several tent areas, which is nice if there are other guests around. Kitchen stove and grill are awesome to have at the campground. To fully enjoy your stay you should bring (or ask Scottie) for earplugs , since there are some cars driving at night. And ask for WiFi password before arriving, in case if no one is around, since phone internet isn’t available here (closest reception is about 4 miles downhill)

Enjoyed our stay here! Lots of shade to chill during the day, beautiful lake, and awesome doggies that are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely be back again to try again for the fish since it was a little slow and didn’t catch anything but plenty of other things to do.
