Had a great camping experience here! The hosts were super friendly and checked in with us every day to see if we needed anything—really thoughtful service. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. There are also some fun places nearby, such as Railtown 1897 State Historic Park and Moaning Caverns Adventure Park, which are great for history buffs and adventure lovers.

We were lucky to be the only campers on Michele’s property, so we got to enjoy the whole campsite to ourselves. Campsite 1 has more shade and trees, campsite 2 is more open. The campsites are pretty close to each other and especially with the shared communal areas I can imagine you’d run into the other parties quite frequently. The bathroom and shower were a really nice touch and made camping so comfortable. There’s one bathroom that contains the toilet and shower. Communal kitchen area was also useful. It includes picnic tables, a propane grill, and well water (no sink). Both campsites are right by the communal area, though each campsite has its own picnic table as well. The views were the best part and if you walk out a bit there is a view spot where you can sit and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. Amazing during sunset! Overall we had a nice time and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive.

My friends and I stayed here and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. It’s a shady, private spot surrounded by majestic oak trees, just a short walk from the bathroom and the communal area. At night, we were treated to incredible views of the moon and stars. The amenities really made the experience stand out. The availability of electricity and a gas grill in the communal cooking area made prepping meals easy, and the fire pit gave us a cozy spot to gather and stay warm at night. Michelle, our host, was incredibly kind and attentive—she even took the time to personally walk me through the amenities when I arrived after dark. Her hospitality and the care she’s put into the property were evident throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature without giving up comfort or convenience.

We love tiny houses and cozy accommodation and this one is one of our favorites. We stayed for one night just for a quick getaway for my son’s bday. We enjoyed our stay, of course, the comfy bed, clean restroom, and nice communal space for BBQ and firepit. The beautiful views, the serenity of the place, the stunning sunset and sunrise, a taste of star gazing, and the train ride make this trip a memorable one. Thank you Michelle and Patrick for being such an awesome host, very accommodating and warm. Your place is a gem! We’ll come back again.

Teddy Bear Cabin 1

We stayed here the weekend of March 29th and found a slice of heaven. The grounds are spacious and absolutely gorgeous. The wildflowers this time of year were so picturesque. It’s a very serene and peaceful experience. The remote location has you immersed in nature with sounds of frogs, crickets, and too many different birds to name can be heard all day. We were lucky and got to also experience the sound of the rain on the metal cabin roof. The cabins have comfy beds, a/c and a heater for all seasons. The bathrooms on site are well maintained and have awesome hot water. Michelle the host was beyond helpful and accommodating! The location of the Hawk’s Lair Wine Bar is looking out over Gold Wall and New Melones Lake and has a sunset experience that is breathtaking to say the least. Bring your camera and your love of the outdoors and leave relaxed and refreshed. Can’t wait to go back!!

There is nothing about this spot that is not truly exceptional. The property is beautiful, accessible and well cared for. The hosts are so warm and accomodating. We have been here 3 times now and still just can't get over how beautiful and relaxing it is. From the tiny cabins, to the wine bar overlooking the lake, the out of this world sunsets and the best bathrooms ever with a full shower. The surrounding towns like Jamestown and Colombia are so fun to visit and shop at, and there are many hikes and natural beauty views surrounding.

Teddy Bear Cabin 1

Visited with my girlfriend to celebrate an anniversary here and it was absolute perfection. The cabins have a cozy and comfy vibe, but the real magic happens at Hawks Lair - surreal views of the lake, the Gold Wall, beautiful sunset and starry night-sky. We even spotted shooting stars. Michele and Patrick are the best hosts. They made us feel right at home and thought of everything to make our stay amazing. Patrick's train ride tour around the property was such a fun bonus! These guys truly know how to make you feel welcome. Would love to come back and unwind in this hidden gem sometime again. Thanks, Michele and Patrick, for sharing your special abode with us!

Stunning place

My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary and this was the perfect spot we were looking for. We got to enjoy the quiet country, watch a beautiful sunset and stars. Yosemite View Art Cabins

We had such a wonderful stay over Labor Day with my wife and 3 kids. Michelle was the greatest host. The huts are exactly as described, perfect for glamping and well equipped. The property itself is spectacular, particular the wine bar overlooking the valley, lake and cliffs. The stars were spectacular at night too. Took some photos with my iPhone with a long exposure - will try to add to review! And Jamestown was just around the corner for anything you need or for a meal or drink. We will be back!

Upon arrival, we followed the direction which were easy to understand and were greeted by Michele’s husband out in the vineyard. Michele came out shortly after and they both explained all the amenities and “to dos” on their property. The suggested heading to the cliff side wine bar they had during sunset and we took their advice but more on that later. We set up our tent in the designated areas which were perfect in size. The property also had toilets and showers that were all nice and clean and seemed to be well maintained. After we were all set up, right around sunset, we headed to the cliff side for the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. It over looks the hills and what I believe is New Melones Lake. There is a nice seating area to enjoy the sunset. Another thing to note.. the stars are extremely visible from the property. There is very little light pollution and the light that you can see is so far and low to the horizon that it really doesn’t affect your view. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying if you are passing through. Thank y’all for hosting!

We really enjoyed the stay at Gold Wall Ranch. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The cabin has AC and it's very clean. It's a wonderful place to see sunset and sunrise. The stars are also blooming during the night!

Great campsite. We stayed in site 2 and friends stayed in site 1. There's a covered area in between the sites with water, electricity and a propane grill. Also misters, which were nice when it was over 100 on the first day. There's an observation deck overlooking a reservoir with great sunset views. We had mule deer visit the campsite in the early morning. Hosts were very nice and provided good information about the area. We'll stay again next time we go to Yosemite. Also - nicest, cleanest campsite bathrooms I've experienced.

Really lovely quiet place in an amazing location, the views over the lake and surrounding hills are breathtaking. It was the exact kind of place I was looking for to unwind for a few days and visit Yosemite - it's only just over an hour's drive and makes an easy day trip. Plenty of amenities within a 15 minute vicinity if you need shops and restaurants. I would love to come and stay again if I get the chance 😊

Michele and Patrick have a very large space with various accommodations from cabins to tent camping! They were so gracious to be hosting friends from the Agoura fires happening, it was really beautiful to see them open up their space to their community. There was not shortage of beauty and artistic expression on this property and their wine has been such a hit, they're ready to release their new batch coming July 2024! Work with Michele to set up your massage with that breathtaking view or grab a vino and watch the rock climbers scale the world renowned Gold Wall (climbed by Alex Honnold of the documentary Solo fame). Wonderful space!

Thanks for your hospitality Michele & Patrick! These guys went above and beyond to make me feel safe and welcome- even gave me their number and said I could bang on the door if I have any problems. I was not expecting a hot shower- but it was incredible and the walk out to the nest/view was perfect with my morning coffee. I’ll swing back through again someday!

I visited this hidden gem with my son. I had a lack of information but relied on the recommendation from the other parents in the school of my son. The host was very friendly and allowed to access any place in the property. It might not be the place like 5 start Hyatt hotel but it is worthy to take a rest and feel nature with breeze. I and my son could feel the beauty of the environment and look into myself. I turned off the rushing and noisy job for time being.
