The Hollow is a very short walk down a small hill to a wonderful tent location. If you have a high clearance vehicle you could actually drive down to the tent area. It's in the middle of a grove of lodgepole pines, spruces, aspen and next to the small creek lined with willows. Though it is a steep climb to actually get to the creek. With the hills creeping up on two sides, this makes for a private site to hangout and relax. It is fairly flat in spots with lots of room for tents. Set your tent under the trees or near the creek. It is up to you. The site has a table and chairs along with a firepit if there is no fire ban. Since it is near water, there are many different wild flowers that bloom all summer long.

Very pretty, clean and well-maintained tent sites, lots of birdsong, friendly host and fun alpacas, llamas, pony and dogs. Our 4-year-old loved climbing on the rocks and walking through the woods. The creek is actually more of a trickle, but fun for a small child to play in. The gunshots from the nearby rifle range were loud at times but didn’t go too long.
