We are 7km from town.The Maldon Historical Reserve, (state park) is across the road.  Family friendly, children are not in the head count, bike or horse riding, gold prospecting and relaxing.   Mt Tarrengower is just there, Lake Cairn Curran, just down the road.  Three Wedge Tail Eagle Nests, (find them)Tawny Frog Mouth's, Parrot's and Gallah'sGecko's Skink's and Goanna's. Scorpion's, Trap, door's and Wolf Spiders.  Fantastic Sun Sets, and unbelievable night skies. There are no facilities here, campers must byo and leave no trace. Camping under the stars

Rod adds a nice touch by coming to say Hi and making sure you are happy and have everything you need. The directions to the site was a little confusing but we got to where we needed or wanted to be. The road is a bit noisy and dusty depending on the wind direction, but does settle down at night We made a great fire in the provided pit and watched the most amazing night sky It is a pretty simple set up but it provided us with what we needed, and fairly close to Maldon which is such a cute town… Would recommend Good Food Providers in town for lunch!

Had a brilliant nights sleep under heaps of stars. Rob was very accomodating and the camp had views over the valley toward the west. Great Sunset!!

Had a lovely night here! Easy access in our 2wd, nice clear spot to set up camp. Great star gazing, scenic property, open spaces which the dogs loved, lots of firewood and short drive into town for a yummy coffee in the morning. Will definitely come back !
