Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Listen to the birds and watch the native animals on this natural bush block. Located just a short drive to some beautiful local creeks and rivers, 11 km from Axedale store and pub or 6km from the Toolleen pub, take your pick, both offer great meals. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. We are 6km from the Heathcote park raceway and 20minutes from Heathcote, wine country. You can park near the dam and sit around a cosy wood fire at night or sneak in under the canopy of the gums. Just far enough away from the busy streets and lights to enjoy peaceful camping and see the beautiful stars in the night sky. 2x camp sites 1 located at the back of the property (land) with a fire pit included $30 per night 1 located at side of property (shack+land) with game room, undercover, working electricity, flushing toilet, fridge, 2x beds available(need to bring own linen) Also can set up swags/tents along the beautiful dam located behind the shack, inbuilt bbq need to bring gas bottle, working lights 3 glass tables plus 10+ chairs to use plus an awesome undercover fire pit perfect for a family get away or a good time camping with mates! $85 per night Must take all rubbish Clean up after yourself And have a dam good time !!!! Sorry, no pets.

Great location - near the lake and rivers and awesome secluded space. Our little guy loved it and Sandra was a great host!

Great little spot just out of Bendigo. Quiet and fairly secluded. The Axedale Tavern 10 minutes away superb meals and drink spot.

This was one of the best places my friends and I have stayed! We stayed at the shack and had our swags set up by the dam and it was awesome. The host Sandra is so welcoming and ready to help where she can. The shack has everything you need from tables, chairs to even a pool table. There was 6 of us but could have easily fit in another 10 people. I would highly recommend staying here! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to camp. It’s a good mix between camping and Glamping. The property is beautiful and Sandra is an awesome host. We are definitely coming back again!

This was a fantastic spot to stay, nice and private clearing at the back of the property, big enough for 5 vans. A 2wd can also easily access it. Sandra was a great host and would love to stay again if in the area.
