We love the space, very private, lovely sunsets and sunrise. Melissa really is a super host. We enjoyed our family Easter rwflextion and retreat. God's marvelous creation on spectacular display in thia place.. it will never disappoint. For sure will be back.

Absolutely gorgeous place, amazing views, well looked after and greatly equipped for our group. The shed was great for gathering, the fireplace (with firewood organised by owners!) was a plus, and having one of the toilets and sink outside the cabin was super convenient.
The communication was great and instructions easy to follow.
It is close enough to Lake Glenmaggie to spend the day, and the sunrise and sunset at the cabin was great entertainment. 100% would recommend

From the time moment we booked the place Melissa was the perfect host. This was our third time at Hilltop Hideaway and has now easily become our favourite camping spot with a perfect balance of camp life with simple luxuries. Thanks for helping us create lovely memories.

We had the best trip ever, 4 families. It was ideal having the cabin as a backup. Which paid off as we lost our tent on the second night due to storms.
Children loved running around playing. Fire pit was brilliant.
View magnificent
Shed as an add on was brilliant.
Hammock, kids toys, cutlery, cups, chairs etc. it was so useful and made our trip perfect.

We love our family weekend away at Hilltop Hideaway. The cabin was clean with everything necessary. The view was amazing, directions very clear, Melissa was approachable at any time. Definitely we will come back.
Ps.Not sure who was more intrigued the Beautiful cows and their calves or our golden retriever and groodle either way makes for Amazing memories 😊

So far the best camping site we've been to!
The view is so magnificent and the place is so relaxing that we just decided to spend our 3 days on the site instead of exploring the nearby towns.
Would love to visit again!

We love our stay here. It was the best camp place we stayed at so far. It has everything we needed from the view, the facilities, the shed when it’s raining or too cold to stay outside. We will definitely be coming back again.

Loved Mel's place! We had a group and the site is perfect for it, lots of room for tents. The cottage was comfortable (the bed inside very comfortable, sofa bed not so much, maybe pack an extra inflatable mattress) and very clean. The views are just incredible. We paid for access to the shed and a load of firewood, enjoyed having an inside space to hang out in and the outdoor fire was one of our favourite things about the property. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Mel was very helpful and accommodating. Would absolutely come here again.

Our group recently spent epic 3 nights at The hilltop hideaway! This property has truly stunning views, well set up shed, cosy cabin with everything you need, plenty of space for a large group.
The owner was very helpful, responsive and accommodating.
We will definitely be coming back!

What a stunning view to gaze upon around the outdoor fire. Having the shed was a bonus, addituonal shelter from the elements if you have a large group. The cabin was cosy but I think would be very warm in the summer months with only a fan in the bedroom. Our group definitely will be back.

Melissa's land is absolutely stunning. The property setup is fantastic; we had a storm and didn't even get bothered by it! Loved having the cows come and have a look at us, and even a visit from the farm dogs doing their rounds. We are already booking for next year!

We had an amazing time at this spot - the view is incredible! Our group utilised the cottage plus had 2 camper vans - it was perfect. Cottage well stocked, clean and cosy. We loved that we had it all to ourselves! Kids loved seeing the cows and heaps of space for a game of footy.
Melissa was so lovely and easy to communicate with. She was super accommodating regarding a booking issue we had initially and we appreciated her flexibility and understanding.
Would absolutely recommend - our best hipcamp experience to date!

Stunning location perched on the top of a hill, camped with a group of 20 and had a blast. Even though we got unlucky with some rainy weather, the lovely indoor spaces provided plenty of shelter so it didn't affect us at all. Walking up the hill behind the property had even greater views and was a highlight.

We absolutely loved Hilltop! Group of us camping and sleeping in the cabin and it was fantastic all around.
Spacious land, BEAUTIFUL view, great spot for sunsets.
Area was well maintained and has everything you need - kitchen/bathroom/living space/excess camp area setups/BBQ/fire pit/shed for activities/ 2.5km driveway for a very hilly morning run haha!
Dog-friendly for our fur babies too.
We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Hideaway. The location was stunning and the facilities we're perfect for our mix of campers and non-campers.
It was lovely and secluded, and whilst it rained and we we're limited in the activities we could undertake, we're eager to visit again and experience its full potential.

Hilltop Hideaway was amazing!! The views are stunning and the space was perfect for a birthday get together with family and friends. Melissa was a fantastic host, incredibly welcoming and everything was seamless! We would love to return as soon as we possibly can!

The location was absolutely beautiful and the host was very accomodating and super helpful. Heaps of equipment was already provided like gas bottles, firewood and spare chairs and tables. Went with a big group and the space was perfect. Definitely will be going back

Thanks Melissa for being an amazing host. The views for the hill are even better than the photos and it is a super quiet location. The house has everything you could need and it very comfortable. Love that it is eco friendly. We will be coming back sometime for sure.
