We had a great stay on Sharon's land, the property was located in a nice rural setting just minutes from the town of Woodend. The grassed camping area were nestled amongst the trees so plenty of shade was available.
Sharon greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcome, after a brief introduction we had the caravan setup in no time thanks to the level site. The two sites available are far enough away from each other making for a comfortable and relaxing stay, a clean flushing toilet a short distance away is perfect for campers without onboard facilities.
A perfect location to use as a base for the local attractions in the Macedon ranges and Trentham areas, a fire pit was located on site for those cold winter getaways. A nice place to unwind for a few days.
The location was fantastic and very secluded. The area we were able to use was spacious and overlooked the dam surrounded by trees. It was very tranquil and close to the town.
A lovely, quiet spot with a friendly and helpful host. We had a great time as a family with young children and will definitely come back. Lots of wildlife - ducks, kangaroos and kookaburras all nearby.
Nice and flat to pitch our tents, lots of space, and we appreciated the proper toilet and sink with hand soap.
We loved camping between the trees. The shade kept the heat away. We had plenty of privacy. The kids loved the nature and it has plenty of space for them to run. Sharon was incredibly friendly. She toured her farm animals and the kids loved seeing the chicken and sheep's. Thank you Sharon !
A lovely relaxing place amongst the trees. Sharon is a delightful host, and the great advantage is that it’s only an hour from Melbourne. Lots of wild life and wonderful birds to enjoy.
