Fabulous site with everything we needed. The camp shelter, log seating and clean composting toilets were just perfect. The site itself is beautiful, open, nicely mowed and so serene. Rob is a great host - super nice guy and responsive and helpful. Definitely will be back. Thanks so much Rob!

2 nights at SIBA Retreat Centre

We had an amazing stay, the cottage was beautiful, spacious and clean. We had wallabies visiting in the morning and evening, and it was fantastic to listen to the birds all around. Very peaceful and we'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fulham Homestead. If you would like to stop & unwind, this is the place. From the beautiful river front view, to the daily visits from Bailey the dog & the curious cows. We had a lovely grassed site & the river was very refreshing on a warm day. Will definitely be returning.

Had the most serendipitous weekend at Anne-mare’s campsite, it exceeded already very high expectations. The creek is stunning, and so fun for swimming, paddling floating, jumping off the rocks and (attempted) fishing. The landscape is so beautiful, plenty of space for camping and so much to explore. We also booked the cabin which was beautiful and the jacuzzi looking out on to the fields was such a delight!! Anne-maree met us at the gate and was super lovely and comprehensive showing us around and being available if we needed. Would 100% go back here!!

Weekend Trip to Fulham Homestead

Great location, flat, quiet, private and plenty of space. Visits from the local cattle and geese was a bit of fun. And Bailey the oh-so happy and oh-so loveable wonder dog was always a highlight. She just laid down and hung out and gave appreciative tail wags and attention which was so nice. Catching more fish would have been good but that is probably related more to my fishing ability than the property LOL! Great host - there if you need them, not in your face.

Weekend Trip to Treventy Hut

We had such a relaxing time. The hut was so cosy and lovely, with a deck out the back to relax and have your morning coffee or a cheeky afternoon wine. We had an 80th birthday surprise party and needed somewhere to stay. Treventy hut was recommended to us and we absolutely loved it. Kylie was so accommodating, she went above and beyond for my family. I totally recommend Treventy hut for those who like tranquility and the country environment. Thank you so much again Kylie. We will be back 😊

1 night at SIBA Retreat Centre

Siba is quite a big complex of buildings, permaculture and gardens as well as animals in a peaceful rural position. We were met by the very friendly and helpful Evan who showed us around. He explained that we were able to use the bathrooms with showers and the well equipped kitchen, and were also welcome to use the yoga studio. We only used the bathrooms in the end and didn't see many other people about so it was nice and private. There were lots of birds and kangaroos around the camping area and it was a pleasant and interesting place to camp. Very pleasant hosts!

We had a great relaxing time at Fulham homestead, camped by the river overlooking the gum trees full of birdlife, walked around the beautifully restored homestead buildings and interacted with all the farm animals, topped off our stay with a campoven roast

Brooklyn is a 6 generation working farm. We have plenty of space for fully self-contained parking. We also offer glamping and a tiny house available occasionally (view our other listings). This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk. We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses. Whilst there are other facilities on the property, this option is for guests who are self-contained only. Dogs on leash welcome. Our property is a 180 year old historic homestead hobby farm with river frontage on the Glenelg River and a wonderful established garden. We have three different listings available at Fulham Homestead: - Fulham Historic Riverfront - Fulham Historic Creekfront - Fulham Homestead Guesthouse Our Guesthouse sleeps up to 8 people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay including two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Unfortunately dogs are not able to stay at the homestead. Our camping sites offer good access for caravans and large motorhomes. All guests staying at the camping listings are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must leave no trace on departure. The camping areas are dog friendly and we also have dogs of our own. You will also get visits from our pet Sheep, local Kangaroos and Wallabies. The Kookaburras will laugh loudly in the mornings and the Cockies will be annoyingly loud some days. This is an ideal base for those that want to do day trips to explore the local area or just plop and drop.

While The Love Shack is a private cabin, perfect for intimate getaways for couples we also offer larger group bookings for extended family / and or friend groups with the need for a normal bedroom/bathroom option. The camping area around the cabin is suitable for tents/vans and can easiliy accommodate larger groups. There are three under cover areas for group camping use :- an outdoor kitchen area with sink, bench space and a full size fridge/freezer, an enclosed pen with an extra BBQ, There is a large covered area with a 100" pull down projector screen (bring your own projector for movie nights and fun). A full set of lawn games is also available. The Shack is a two night minimum stay and sleeps two. Extra guests are welcome in a tents/vans outside at an extra cost per person. The Shack has one bedroom with linen available as an extra, a small open plan kitchen with fridge, kettle and mini cooker. The living room features a little combustion woodfire heater. Camping enthusiasts can enjoy a level, grassy site with spectacular views across the Tarra River to the forest, or behind you across the paddocks. We are only 3 kms away from the Tarra Bulga National Park and 10 kms from the historic town of Yarram if you need any supplies. Woodside Beach, Welshpool and Port Albert are within easy reach too.

A genuine wilderness experience with forest (tree) bathing, spring fed creeks and total peace for you and your group very close to Melbourne. You can hopefully spot our resident platypus and kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats etc. There’s also abundant bird life including lyre birds and eagles. Explore all the Yarra Ranges has to offer including a short walk to Shiprock Falls. Grab a coffee or pizza in nearby Gembrook and checkout some farm produce from your hosts before you leave. We have added a composting toilet, a drinking water tank and a bush pole shelter with cold water kitchen sink, phone charger ports, lights and hot water to a private shower and a picnic table with seats under cover. We have an adjacent fire pit area with tree log seating. You can order firewood from us too and a Coleman gas cooker with gas bottle (see extras). Most of the materials are repurposed from another property or scavenged from our forest. We hope to see you soon.
