The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. 

Currently, two sites are available to be booked. 

A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout.  

Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration.  Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather.  I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.

Pluck A Duck Creek Camp

Located near Dayboro Village. Private acreage property with small seasonal creek, 15 mins from Petrie Train Station (can pick up). The property is ideal for the independent/self sufficient travelers/camper to stay overnight or longer(length negotiable). No amenities, best have your own toilet/shower, 20km as the crow flies from Brisbane CBD. Close to wineries, horse ridding, Kayaking, bush walking art galleries, cafes. Fishing in Lakes Samsonvale, Kurwongbah as well as Paddle down North Pine River to Redcliffe, for fish and chips :). Close to Ocean View winery, Dayboro Cafe and Bakery. Dayboro Country Markets are on the 1st Sun of each mth. Old Petrie Town Market is open every Sun & Museum every day. Stay, rest and relax with a good book, we have a Street Library out the front. Enjoy a camp fire. Loads of bird & wild life about. Pets welcome (on leash), child friendly. You must be self sufficient. You can hire a double person swag $25per night. Fire wood $10. Due to Corona Virus bring your own Dunny if you can.

The Rustic Resort Wamuran


Due to our extended and continuous wet weather , we have currently reduced our availability to six sites only and to 4WD accessibility only,  unless you book the Dam , we ask our campers to minimise driving on the property. If wet, please engage 4WD and stay out of the ruts.

 As much as we would love to fix the roads, due to the wet we just haven't had the right conditions at the right time to do so. 

It you want to drive to the Dam from Didjabringyabeeralong, the Black Stump or Dolittle, you can drive out gate 3 turn right and come back in gate 4,  or you are more than  welcome to WALK the internal roads

We are a 90acre private property who raise cattle and goats and have opened up to campers who, like us, prefer and love peace and nature. 

We have all of our sites on Booking request ( Reserve). Please check that you are ok with our property rules before you book.

Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. 

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. 

Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety.

 If you are first time campers on our property, this is our philosophy. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives.  We are not the place for rowdy parties.  

 Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush  so you will feel like you are the only ones there. 

You are welcome to have a campfire when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we  do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety.

Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in  4WD or 2WD access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. 

We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle.  

Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. 

We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. )

 It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and there are floating noodles for your use during the summer months. Feel free to bring your paddle boards  and canoes.

We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains, Stoney creek, Rocky holes, Bribie island, Woodford, Mt Mee, Montville, Maleny and much, much more.

We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival.

"White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah  is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. 

Wamuran has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery,  bottle shop,  servo,  fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational.  

Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday.

There is a Woodfire pizza van in town  2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them.

If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. 

Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away.

The Mango Patch

All sites have a maximum capacity of 4. Adjust your booking to the correct number of people, additional guests @ $10.00 EACH. One car is allowed per booking.

Beautiful quiet acreage in a semi-rural area amongst pineapple and macadamia farms only a few minutes from Glass House Mountains Village, Beerwah, Landsborough and Australia Zoo. 

No tent or swag camping. We only welcome self-contained motorhomes, caravans and camper trailers (No toilets provided).

The property offers easy access through a remote gate and is fully fenced. The beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast, Maleny, Montville and Hinterland hot spots are all within 30 minutes from the property.

Enjoy a campfire in our designated area when restrictions are not in place.

Small quiet dogs welcome by prior request and must be on a lead.

Weefarm Brisbane River Camping

'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only.  Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking.

We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers.

Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up.

There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic!

Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers.

Portaloo toilet available at the campsite.

Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed.

Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times.  Please let us know they are coming as well.

Lakeview

Lakeview is situated near the seaside village of Beachmere on just under 50 picturesque acres of Australian bushland, 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway.

Experience the stunning vistas by the three billabongs while nestled in nature. Take nature walks, canoe and swim. Enjoy the flora, native animals and abundant birdlife or just relax by the campfire with the cooling sea breezes to add to the comfort and laid back lifestyle beside your own private open fire.

You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life.

Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family.
