Please note this farm is for SELF SUFFICIENT campers only. You MUST have your own toilet and you must take All of your waste with you. This is our home! Please respect it. * Do NOT enter neighbouring properties or throw rubbish over the fence. Cattle graze nearby and their health and safety is priority One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us directly.

Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
What an absolute gem! We originally planned to stay at Olive View Estate for just one night, but after experiencing everything this beautiful property has to offer, we asked if we could extend our stay to four nights. Russell and Kate couldn’t have been more accommodating, going out of their way to fit us in at short notice, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived, making us feel genuinely welcome. The campground is beautifully maintained, with plenty of space and thoughtfully provided fire pits that make for a perfect evening under the stars. The standout feature has to be the incredible elevated views across the Scenic Rim. Waking up and looking out over such a stunning landscape each morning was something special, and the sunsets were spectacular. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with wonderful hosts and breathtaking scenery, Olive View Estate is hard to beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay and are already looking forward to returning again in the future.

Lovely space and great views!! Was a bit busy on Saturday night with probably 8 or so different groups, but plenty is space for everyone. Visited the farm bus for some goodies and had a lovely chat with the owner. An easy drive from Brisbane, definitely recommend!

Just home from a fabulous overnight stay at Olive Grove Estate. Stunning part of the Scenic Rim with the most magic views. Short drive to Boonah or Kalbar. Lovely host who was very welcoming. We will definitely be back. Be sure to pack some carrots for the farm friends. We loved every minute of our stay.

I loved my stay at the Olive View Estate. It was a perfect (1hr) drive from Brisbane but I felt like I had truly ‘gotten away’. The space was beautifully kept, quiet and the hosts were so welcoming. The Farm Bus is a must visit. So many goodies

Olive View Camping - Scenic Rim
Olive View is our go-to place when we just want a few days away from everything. This weekend there were 8 other groups but we were still far away from anyone else. Once the wind died down, it was lovely to sit around the dedicated firepit and watch the night sky go by. Camping area is kept very clean and mowed. The views are spectacular. The bus shop has everything you need to buy to take home gifts for family and friends. Don't forget to bring apples and carrots to feed the sheep and goat.

Far enough from suburbia, but close enough to drive to on a Friday afternoon for a great weekend away. Close to Kalbar, Boonah, Scenic Rim Farm Shop and other places to visit...or just enjoy the peace and quiet and make a fire and watch the magnificent sunsets. Great hosts as well. Yep, we'll certainly be back again.

We had such a lovely 1-night camping stay at Kate’s land. The view was absolutely beautiful — so peaceful, calm, and relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Kate and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming. I accidentally booked the wrong date, and they were so flexible and understanding to change it for us on the same day, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet and scenic camping experience with wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful night away in caravan on Kate's property. The big open space to camp, the olive grove with wallabies and Joey's, the beautiful views was what we needed. We bought a few yummy goodies from the bus shop too!!

What an amazing place to stay. Lots of room,amazing views, sunrises and sunsets. Stopped in the driveway and Olly the goat and all the sheep came up to greet us. (I think they thought we were going to feed them). Little bus shop - lots of options including olives, oils, jams, marmalade, honey and more. Would definitely recommend this stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our caravanning stay at Olive View Camping. The campsites are spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room between each mown site for privacy and comfort. We had four vans spread across two adjoining sites, with our vans set up around one of the provided fire pits, and there was still more than enough space for everyone. It’s also extremely dog-friendly, making it a fantastic choice for travellers with furry companions.

Lovely large open space with trees for shade, nicely mowed, fire pits scattered around and lovely sunrise and sunset. Quaint shop on site for local delights. Close to Boonah, Kalbar, Logan’s Lookout, Elderflower Farm, Lavender Farm and Motorcycle Museum. Local pubs at Roadvale, Boonah & Kalbar were all great lunch venues to then enjoy a fireside afternoon & evening. The owner/operator came around in the afternoon to make sure everyone was ok. Cows and a couple of kangaroos provided nature up close. Thank you Kate

We had a lovely stay, the views are great, super quiet, only cows occasionally walking past on the neighbouring property stirred up our dogs. Not that the cows cared. Lots of campfire options, awesome farm shop, picked up a mothers day gift and somethings for ourselves.
