Small acreage family property with stunning views across the rolling hills and pasture facing North East towards Mount Flinders in the Scenic Rim of Southeast Queensland on the beautiful land of the Ugarapul people. Teviotville is a short 8-minute drive from the township of Boonah, and 6 minutes from the quaint, historic village of Kalbar. We have ample natural wonders in the near vicinity with Mount French and other national parks, Lake Moogerah and Maroon Dam. A peaceful spot, with flat, grassed camping areas, fire pit area, a big sky full of stars, so much bird and other wildlife, chickens, and a family with 2 young lads to welcome you. Plenty of space for your pets. Rob, Lou, Angus and Hamish would love to show you around and share our new little patch of land in the beautiful Scenic Rim or of course leave you to enjoy the tranquility if you prefer.Flat, grassed campsite with fire pit located on 2 acre hobby farm in Teviotville, between Boonah and Kalbar in the Scenic Rim, just 1 hour from Brisbane and 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast. Breathe in stunning views over the rolling hills to Flinders Peak, hear numerous different birdlife, and see a sky full of stars at night. Campsite also overlooks our family home, stables and shed. Our family of 4 will welcome you but also respect your privacy as you wish. Feel free to explore and wander around property (excluding house yard and shed), or ask and we can show you around :) Numerous activities and attractions close by in the region, including hiking, mountain bike riding, QLD Moto Park (motorbiking), mountain climbing, boating, fishing, national parks, look-outs, wineries, historic towns, cafes and more. Visitors need to have their own toilet and shower facilities. Fire pit only to be used when no fire bans in place. All rubbish must be disposed of by visitors. We have extra space where we can welcome and accommodate larger family groups, if needed. Firewood available for $15 cash/bag. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our beautiful space with you!

We had a lovely long weekend here. We met both Rob and Lou at different times on the weekend, great hosts. We had our 2 Labradors with us, who enjoyed the open space to run around.

Great grassy area 5min drive from Boonah. Property well maintained, green rolling hills and great sunrise looking over mountains. Had a huge area to ourselves with little soccer field and goals for kids to kick the ball around. Very comfortable. We met Rob who was very friendly and obliging.

Myself and the family loved staying at Lou’s place. They were very inviting and popped over to see if we needed anything. Lovely camp spot, nice and flat with plenty of space for the kids to run around. We got in later than expected and arrived to a fire already lit (thanks Rob). Thanks Lou for having us!

We had a great time staying at the Scenic Retreat! Was very relaxing. Lou and her family were amazing! They came over to see if we needed anything and due to our late arrival we turned up to a fire already going (thanks Rob). Couldn't recommend these guys enough. I am looking forward to staying at out there again.

Had a spectacular night camping at Lou's place. The dark sky with full of stars and got a chance to watch the meteors too. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. The big place all for yourself to chill next to the fire pit. There is a bit of road noise but it didn't bother me. Highly recommend!

Super beautiful private spot, with only one booking at a time - which is a huge bonus! The owners are absolutely lovely, and incredibly friendly too! Super close to town if you forget anything too! Perfect flat area for kids to play in too!

We had a great time with Lou and his family. We arrived at sunset, cooked our dinner on hardwood over the fire, saw the moon rise and slept well. We were able to bring the dog, too. Thanks Lou! David

Rob & Lou and the kids were so welcoming. Their little piece of the Scenic Rim is so central to the area that we could get anywhere within a few minutes. We really enjoyed the privacy of being the only campsite on their property and we will be back for sure!

A sweet little spot on a small property near beautiful Boonah. Level ground, green gras (when I was there in February) and a peaceful night under the stars. Lou was so friendly and accommodating with my last minute booking and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s basic but felt safe and welcoming for a solo traveler.
