Absolutely outstanding Hipcamp. The beautiful, peaceful setting and the use of Kayaks were much appreciated. One camper did use a generator, but let us know that his van had lost power and was being remotely repaired; we were offered the opportunity to plug in. It wasn't noisy, allowing us to recharge our own batteries. Would highly recommend the Hipcamp. Thanks Mitch and Holly for allowing us to return and enjoy your property once again.

Had a relaxing few nights stay with my dogs at Coominya Farm Stay. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the dam and host Lynn was lovely to communicate with and even nicer in person. The amenities were spotless. Although I didn’t need to use the camp kitchen, it was a large, well thought out space and very clean. Overall a great value Hipcamp with the access to hot showers, toilets and camp kitchen all included.

Third time at this fabulous place. We can’t get enough of the space, privacy and excellent hosts. This is one of the best locations, close to Brisbane, easy access, nice level areas, and scenery that changes each time we come. The storm put on a spectacular lighting show while the moon was insanely bright on our first night. It’s one place we will continue to return to❤️

Very nice in my caravan next to the pond. Peaceful and relaxing. Extended my stay from a couple of days to a week. Mitch very helpful and quick to respond to messages. A little different with the old structures but they add character to the place. Two suggestions, 1) expand and add power, 2) publicise don’t hide the history.

This was our 3rd time at Libby’s beautiful property. It’s always well maintained and just the most perfect place to unwind within the large site areas. This time was extra special for us as Libby’s cattle were in the area right near our site but fenced off from coming through to our camp. It was great to get close to them, such beautiful healthy cattle and the little ones are so cute. Thank you once again Libby for sharing your beautiful property with us. It’s our favourite place to spend time in the Scenic Rim and only 1 hour from home. ❤️

Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.

We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders. Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month. On a lush 286 acres backing onto Border Ranges National Park, we are surrounded by 3kms of creek with flowing slopes and beautiful sunset views of Mt Lindesay. For campers we are focusing on around 30 acres and spots close to Sawpit Creek would be ideal to set up camp. Bring your tent, swag or caravan and park up next to our beautiful Sawpit creek. Perfect for a swim! Currently there's a picnic table and some seating areas. We will be building a compost toilet and large BBQ area soon! Drinking water is available, and at the moment we are welcoming only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. Your pet is welcome to camp with you. Our property backs onto Border Ranges National Park! And you can see Mt Lindesay from our property, so bring your camera! It's 15 min to Wiangaree and 35 min to Kyogle. The camping area is 2WD accessible but you will have to cross some creeks. You should be ok in the 2WD as the creek crossing has a small incline and decline. We welcome caravans, campervans and camper-trailers/ tents.​ You may see us pass by the camping area from time to time. We are a friendly as 😊 and invite you to have a coffee or beer with us. There's no internet by the creek but you're more than welcome to connect to the wifi at our shack up the hill. No campfires please.

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot! We offer a choice of sites- either Lower Sites close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property or Elevated Sites with views of the valley. LOWER SITES have access to facilities- toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Most sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. These are the only sites that caravans can access. ELEVATED SITES have stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites. When submitting a booking request, select either a Lower Site or Elevated Site. Please include your vehicle make and model, camping setup (tent/swag/camper trailer), type of toilet and ensuite tent (if requesting an elevated site) and number of occupants (adults, children, dogs). Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather dependant. We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
