The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.

2 lovely goats and many curious chickens — all happy to be patted and fed apples, bread and hay — plus our two dogs who call this place home. We’re also pet-friendly, just please keep your furry friends on leads at all times.

We are only 15 mins from Mount Warning and 30 mins from Byron Bay. There are plenty of National Parks, bushwalks, cycling paths, near by fishing spots and historical places to visit. The fantastic Northern Rivers Rail Trail is just across the road. We are located near the quaint village of Stokers Siding. Enjoy 13 acres of picturesque countryside with running creeks, lush green paddocks and a fruit orchid.
We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.
Please note:
- We are dog friendly
- No amenities so campers must be self-contained and leave no trace
- Firepits available on both sites. Feel free to collect dead debris from around the property.
- Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place

Kellie was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and warmly welcomed us upon arrival to show us our spot. Ukiyo Spring is truly a unicorn of a space - offering quick access to nearby beaches and local amenities, yet feeling remarkably private despite a couple of neighboring properties. Our kids loved having ample space to run around and play on the open field, and we spent wonderful hours exploring the nearby beaches. Meeting the resident chickens and watching the cows on the adjacent property added a lovely rural touch. Overall, it’s well worth a stay and an easy, stress-free drive from Brisbane, even on a long weekend. Highly recommended!

Ukiyo Spring is absolute paradise! Our site and surroundings had lush green grass. The kids loved playing on the swing and hammock. The cooking grill over the fire made it easy to cook meals. We also took advantage of a fire at the communal fire pit. What a stunning area!! With Farm and Co and Kingscliff any minutes away, we couldn’t have found a better location. We can’t wait to be back with friends. Kellie was an exceptional host.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ukiyo Spring. We parked our caravan so it overlooked the dam and loved using the beautifully set up fire pit area.
The campsite is close to Kingscliff and there is a Cole’s supermarket only 5 mins away. Very easy access for the van.
Kellie was a wonderful host and we will definitely go back again.
