Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine or beer or two. Our names are Chris and Christine. We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land (approx. 320 acres) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

We loved our camp at sandy creek! Warren met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the camp grounds and advised the best place to set up, due to being very hot. We had the whole place to ourselves and the lake for a dip was incredible. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, would definitely like to return.

We had a lovely stop over at the Hidden Creek Camping ground. Had the place to ourselves. Our site was nice and flat situated under the gum trees. They are in the process of making a lagoon, which will make it even better to be able to cool off in the summer.

Sublime Farm & Brewery has plenty of room for camping away from others. There's plenty of room. Richie and Sharyn are lovely friendly hosts. The pub with live music on the weekends, good food and drinks is an added bonus. We would highly recommend this hip camp and will be returning again at some stage.
