At Valley Camping you can pitch your tent, park your camper or caravan to access the beautifully mowed campsites beside the Yabba Creek and spring fed dam. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this. All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must not disturb other campers. Please ensure you clean up after your pets.

With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. RUSTIC RETREAT

Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by State forests and wetland. There is a dam on the property for swimming and playing. 400m walk to the Tuan beach and boat ramp, exit via the main gate entrance. The forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal. There is plenty of space with-in the property and surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club are just 3km away. This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is no toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don'y try and bite our horses which roam freely. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks on the property. (Please don't feed them as their owners have requested this) You can feed our horses apples and carrots. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc. Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry of disturbing the neighbours. We have a tap/ hosepipe at the horse stables as you drive in on nexto the main house where you can fill up water canisters but might be easier to bring your own water. Text before hand to organise so we can show you where the fresh water tap is found. Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please. Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. (Given on booking) Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick. NOTE: ***During Summer months - November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm. After it is dark they die down!*** ***4X4's are recommended if you don't stay along the fence line as it can get muddy if there has been lots of rain. Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). Firewood is available and can be delivered to your site by our local contractor. Cost is $20 for a generous load or $10 for a half load. The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Hopevale Adventure Camping

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

This camp is an easy seven minute drive from the Gympie Music Muster site. Get in early to set up camp at your choice of positions on a mostly flat paddock in the crook of huge private valley. 4WD is not totally necessary but may be advantageous in wet weather or to those wanting to get off the beaten track. With creek frontage, shade trees overhead and ranging hills behind, at this camp site you will be sure to catch sight of many birds, wallabies, and other wildlife. Bring your camera! There is a porta loo (and coming soon, a hot shower) on site, we will hire more if bookings are thick but if you are self contained that is awesome! We have a few fire pits and rings available. Exploring the area is a must. You have the creek right here and the forest, nearby are National Parks with marked trails, more creeks to swim in and wildlife to observe. Bunya Farm Produce is open on Saturday mornings for a taste of the best offerings around and Amamoor markets greet the steam train every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday morning. There are many farm-gate suppliers in the region for you try our fresh produce. Kybong has "Hell Town Hotrods" as you imagine, this place is an Alladin's Cave for those into anything vintage, retro, car or petrol.... complete with a workshop for custom hotrod rebuilds. There is a neat cafe and bar on site too. Gympie is close by with the Heritage Museum, featuring the history of gold mining and industries of the area. You can learn how to pan for gold there then come back and practice in the creek. Art enthusiasts should drop in for morning tea at Chai Chai, and see what’s on exhibition at The ART POST then Gympie Region Art Gallery - both venues offer high quality exhibits and sale of artworks by our local artists. SoMa SoMa is where to go for awesome breakfast, brunches or lunches with delicious coffee, shakes and fresh juices also, open from 6:30am 7 days a week. Friday nights SoMa SoMa opens the Tapas and Wine Bar. We look forward to seeing you but don't worry, it may only be to let you in the front gate!

The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

We are a working family dairy farm set on over 210 acres on the beautiful Mary River, located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We offer 4 peaceful sites with direct river frontage for self-contained caravans, campers and tents. Campfires permitted in fire pits provided. We offer complimentary kayaks and tyre tubes for guests use, BYO life jackets if required. Bring your fishing rod and fish from your camp or a kayak. You can try panning for gold in the river. Please note we do NOT have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. The road to the campsite is an all-weather access road. The campsite is also easily accessible with 2WD vehicles. A FAIR USE POLICY applies to guests who intend to camp as one party. Please DO NOT book separate sites. If you have a big group and want to have the campsite to yourself, then please head to our 'Entire Private Group' site. *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. (private contractor) The Mary River water level is determined on rain fall. I will make personal contact with all campers when flooding occurs. **The River is flowing very fast at this time, due to heavy rainfall. It is, healthy and there numerous platypus sitings at both site 1 and site 3.

We are part of Noosa Hinterland, less than a km to the biggest salt lake in Australia. Walking distance to Apollonian Pub, 2.5km to Cootharaba brewery and bistro. Lake Cootharaba is at its peak, 4ft deep. It’s at the start of the Everglades, with 40% more bird life than Kakadu. It’s great for sailing, SUP, kayaking, kite surfing, fishing and swimming. There are wood fired BBQs and picnic seats all along the foreshore. Public showers/toilets too. Upon coming down Lake Flat Rd, you’ll see 4 letterboxes, turn LEFT here and travel down a private road approx 100mts, you’ll see 1 white bali flag and our Boho Wilderness sign on a SURFBOARD this is CAMP entry. We have designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses and goats. Or the other view of the forest. NOOSA EVERGLADES are calling you to visit. Camp sites are in horseshoe layout. Fires are ONLY ALLOWED in fire pit. FIRE WOOD AVAIL ONSITE Check in at 1pm and check out is flexible, on agreement with host. Please message owner 1hr prior to arriving. CHECK IN AFTER 6pm STRICTLY AT OWNERS DISCRETION Well behaved dogs are welcome, please keep them on a leash, please add them to booking, under EXTRAS $10 each (2dogs max.) NO DOGS IN RAINFOREST. Members and non-members are welcomed. * Kids and dog beach available at the kids park, at Lake (4ft at its deepest). * Boat ramp for access to lake or Everglades. A canoe launching ramp available at Elanda Point. 7mins away. If looking at tides, lookup Teewah beach for lake tides. * General Store is currently closed. * Apollonian Hotel has bistro, outdoor dining and live music. Pet friendly.
