We always love our getaways at Kurrajong. Kev and Tan are the perfect hosts. We were lucky enough to have calves being born while we were there which was very special. The grounds are immaculate and plenty of flat areas. We highly recommend this hipcamp and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Kurrajong Meadow and would happily return.
The campground is spacious, beautifully maintained and offers a great mix of sunny and shaded sites throughout the day, so you can always find the perfect spot. One of our favourite features was the stunning rainforest along the river. It was the perfect place to escape the heat, relax in the cool shade, watch the water flow by, or simply dip your feet in the refreshing creek. Waking up each morning to the beautiful chorus of native birds in the rainforest was a real highlight and a wonderful way to start the day.
What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts. They are genuinely warm and welcoming, taking the time to have a chat, share local knowledge and recommend places to visit. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.
If youâre looking for a peaceful, well-kept campground surrounded by nature with wonderful hosts, we highly recommend Kurrajong Meadow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Kurrajong Meadow
Our stay at âThe Meadowsâ was better than we had hoped. The campground was exceptionally maintained, beautiful, easy to access and very private. The hosts Kevin and Tanya were very welcoming and friendly and we were lucky enough to see a newborn calf on our morning walk. We will definitely be back another time.

Kurrajong Meadow
Had a great stay at Kurrajong, we stayed 4 days 3 nights in a small off grid van with a young puppy, Kev and Tan are very accommodating and Kevin met us when we arrived and checked in on us during our stay.
We stayed at the Meadows camp site and it is spacious enough for a large group.
Our pup loved exploring the camp area and had a blast.

Hideaway Camp
We loved our stay at the Hideaway Camp site. It's a little oasis. Very lush, green and well kept. This secluded spot was so peaceful. We felt like the only ones there, despite another group of campers staying at the Meadows site, we couldn't hear a peep and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.
Tan and Kev were wonderful hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed, and even welcomed us with a bag of delicious home-grown mandarins.
They also gave us some great tips for local tourism points of interest and their Kurrajong Camp Facebook page is a ripper as well.
We have been Hipcampers for several years and Kurrajong Camp has been one of our favourites. Looking forward to returning when we can.

This is a perfect spot! Very private and peaceful.
Extremely well maintained and it was handy having a recycle bin available!
The hosts were lovey and very helpful.
Our dogs loved having loads of space to explore and play.

Kurrajong Meadow
We had a fantastic time camping at Kurrajong Meadow at Kurrajong Camp. It was a very large, well kept grassy spot with some shade throughout the day. Kev and Tan were great hosts. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a private, peaceful getaway.

What an awesome spot, beautiful well kept open space but very private. Kids had an absolute ball, even got to help feed the gorgeous cows that live on the property. Kev and Tan have done a wonderful job đłđđ

Kev & Tan have a stunning place. Beautiful flat grassy spot was perfect for our weekend away. Got to feed the cows, the creek was flowing although only or dog was crazy enough to have a dip. Clean fire-pit, which we definitely made use of đ„Itâs close to town if you need anything and also the dump point. Weâll be back đđŒ

What a beautiful campsiteâwe absolutely loved our Easter at Kurrajong Meadow. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with endless flat grass for the kids to play cricket and kick the footy. The creek is just a short 2-minute walk along a lovely path; while we skipped a swim this time due to recent floods, weâre already looking forward to a paddle next visit.
Kev and Tan were wonderful hostsâso responsive and thoughtful. Tan kindly organised a portaloo for us ahead of time, and Kev greeted us on arrival and checked in throughout our stay. The pre-arranged trailer load of firewood waiting for us was such a convenient touch. The kids also had a blast riding on the farm buggy with Kev to feed the cows, and we were even surprised with Easter chocolates and fire colour changers.
We couldnât have asked for a better weekend. Highly recommendâweâll definitely be back. Thanks so much, Kev and Tan, for sharing your beautiful property with us.

Beautifully maintained and private campsite site for fully self sufficient campers. Huge area which was more like a well maintained park with lovely convenient creek access. Kev was a great host who popped down to check if we needed anything and supplied a very generous tub of firewood, which lasted our 2 night stay. Absolutely recommend this camp for people who enjoy privacy and lots of space, all within 20 mins from the town centre of Gympie.

Kev and Tan were amazing hosts.
They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Can't say enough good things about them as hosts, and the amazing piece of heaven they have created.

The property was very green and the grass was so soft, no shoes needed. Hide away camp was secluded and we had a very peaceful stay. Kev and Tan went above and beyond during our stay and all communication leading up to our stay was very clear. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and just relax.

Highly recommend Karrajong Camp. Tan and Kevin are lovely hosts, directions were on point and what you see is what you get.
We had the whole meadow (with beautiful lush grass) to ourselves, when you book it, itâs all yours. Our dog absolutely loved it too.
The creek was easily accessible and flowing which made for a fantastic afternoon dip.
Quality long burning wood fire wood is available for $15 per tub (02/2026) and fire pits available at each camp site.
We will be back for sure!

We camped at the meadow in our caravan with 2 kids (1 & 5) and 2 dogs and had the most relaxing time, spent most of our time at the creek where the dogs swam and the kids played, canât wait to go back. Kev and Tan were lovely and dropped off some goodies on arrival. Incredibly well kept property and will definitely book again

Was absolutely beautiful the grass was green and lush and well looked after ,super private site the dogs just got to run free , a creek down below is great for the fur babies but not so much us humans , apparently the medow site is more suitable for us two legged kind đ.

Terrific spot and would highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet. There are 2 seperate camps, we stayed at Hideaway for 2 weeks and loved it. We would recommend staying at the Meadow if you have smaller children or mobility issues as access to the creek is more level, but we found The Hideaway Perfect for our stay. The sites are beautifully maintained and owners Kev and Tanya have great communication and are terrific hosts.
The camp is only a short drive from Gympie, so accessing supplies is super quick and easy.

A great place to get away from the pace of everyday life. The river was a little high during our stay, but still perfect for the dogs to enjoy a swim. Thereâs a large, flat area thatâs ideal for groups, with plenty of space for activities and setting up camp. Definitely will be back again for another relaxing weekend.

Kurrajong Campground was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous â plenty of trees, open spaces, and beautiful sunsets. Itâs quiet, peaceful, and feels really private, which made it easy to relax.
The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with, giving clear directions and making sure we had everything we needed. The campsite itself was well-kept, with fire pits and flat areas for tents, and great value for money overall.
If you enjoy off-grid camping and donât mind bringing your own setup, this spot is ideal. Weâll definitely be coming back!

I feel so lucky to have celebrated my 40th birthday on Kev and Tanâs beautiful property. The campsite was stunning, with the softest grass so comfortable that shoes werenât needed all weekend. Just a short walk away was a gorgeous creek, perfect for swimming and cooling off.
Kev and Tan went above and beyond as hosts, organizing so many things for my party so I didnât have to worry about a thing. A special highlight was when they took all the kids to feed the cows â such a thoughtful and memorable touch.
