Welcome to Kurrajong Camp located in Mothar Mountain, just 10 minutes south-east of Gympie. We offer two campsites, each giving you exclusive use of the immediate private area. "Kurrajong Meadows" is a large open grassed campground that is flat and spacious, north facing with excellent solar access and a sheltered forest to the southern creek side. A flowing creek is a short stroll from the campsite via a rainforest pathway. The area is perfect for large and small groups or those wishing for their own self-contained space. "Hideaway Camp" is located down a slight incline to privacy. This site is perfect for couples, families and small groups. Creek access is via an embankment and the water is suitable for paddling. Each site has a firepit as camping just isn't camping without a fire. đŸ”„(Or "bush TV" as we call it!) Firewood is available for purchase. Ask us about our Camper Trailer for hire. Includes setup and pack down, so you can come straight from work or home and get into your relaxing camping break immediately. BYO queen bed linen, pillows and towels. We allow pets 🐕 "off-lead" and offer pet sitting for a small fee per hour. We very happily welcome groups and celebrations and are available to assist where possible. Portaloo hire, 9x3m gazebos, generator, rubbish collection etc. Note: We are a self-contained site - campers must bring their own water and toilet facility. There are train lines in the area and campers may hear distance trains at times.

Welcome to Kurrajong Meadow where you have the entire campsite to yourselves. Located a short stroll from Six Mile Creek, the area is suitable for large groups or those wishing for their own self-contained space. Price per night includes 4 people. The campground is flat and spacious, North facing with excellent solar access and sheltered forest to the southern creek side. There is a firepit on site and a generous load of firewood is available for a fee. Pets are welcomed but as there are cattle on the property, please restrain your pet if they are prone to wandering. Campers are required to be self sufficient and bring their own water and toilet. Port-a-loo hire available on request or a portable cassette toilet for purchase. Please contact us for details. Please ensure all gates remain closed as there are friendly cattle on the property.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kurrajong Campground was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous — plenty of trees, open spaces, and beautiful sunsets. It’s quiet, peaceful, and feels really private, which made it easy to relax. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with, giving clear directions and making sure we had everything we needed. The campsite itself was well-kept, with fire pits and flat areas for tents, and great value for money overall. If you enjoy off-grid camping and don’t mind bringing your own setup, this spot is ideal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great communication from Kev and Tan prior to arrival and while at site. The site was perfectly maintained and very private. The dogs loved all the room to run around off leash and exploring the creek line.

I feel so lucky to have celebrated my 40th birthday on Kev and Tan’s beautiful property. The campsite was stunning, with the softest grass so comfortable that shoes weren’t needed all weekend. Just a short walk away was a gorgeous creek, perfect for swimming and cooling off. Kev and Tan went above and beyond as hosts, organizing so many things for my party so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. A special highlight was when they took all the kids to feed the cows — such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Thank you so much, Kev and Tan, for making my birthday celebration so special!

Yet another amazing weekend away at this site. So secluded and just so beautiful. Kev and Tan do such an amazing job of keeping the grounds neat and tidy. Best spot for our doggo to run around.

Kurrajong meadows was a beautiful campground, peaceful and spacious , close to the creek and a nice spot for a dip in the warmer weather , very private , loved our stay . Thanks Kev and Tan for a beautiful weekend spent on your property. You were very accomodating and communicated everything we needed to know about our stay. We loved the openness and lush green grass, what an oasis! We loved our buggy ride and feeding your beautiful cows, what a highlight for our girls AND us! Grateful for the very yummy eggs, you can’t buy that freshness at the supermarket! đŸ€Ș It was lovely to spend the time with you both. We look forward to coming back again one day 😊

Very welcoming host. Spacious big camp site but secluded and private. Well maintained. Nice creek. Nearby rock pools and National Park, and a winery. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

The camp site is well kept, spacious and private. Kev and Tan are star hosts - very friendly, helpful and generous. The creek would be great for a cool off in summer. Great location for exploring Woondum National Park. Definitely one of the best spots we've camped at.

This place is so beautiful and well maintained. Privacy was no problem, our site was no where near the other site and we felt like we were the only ones there. Beautiful flat grass and the creek was flowing. We will be regulars here.

This is our third time at the lovely Kurrajong Meadow and we had a wonderful time enjoying the hospitality of Kevin and Tan. The site is very large and flat, kept immaculately, is private and great for large groups. Would highly recommend staying there, Kevin and Tan are the perfect hosts, always able to communicate with them and they have clear instructions for arrival. We will be back!

This property is fantastic. Both sites are very well kept. Firepit provided was generous in size. Kev and Tan communicated well and were available for assistance if required. Lovely relaxing spot, we'll be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing spot, almost don’t want to leave a good review so I can keep it all to myself, but Kev and Tan were so wonderful I couldn’t do that to them! Spacious, accommodating, so simple and flat and perfect, with all the options for comfortable extras to take those stresses away. They came and dropped mandarins, and took the kids to feed the cows in the buggy, it was all amazing thanks guys!

Loved our stay at Tan and Kevs property. Very friendly and accommodating, great communication and listing was exactly as described. Dogs enjoyed running around the paddocks. Morning sunrises were gorgeous, even though the weather wasn’t in our favour. Perfect spot for some quiet time. Cows in the other paddock was also a bonus. Thanks for having us!

We loved our stay at Kurrajong Meadow. It was such a perfect little Easter getaway with our family and friends. Our hosts, Kevin and Tania, were amazing. They were so accommodating and provided some useful local tips for places to visit in the area. The property was very private and very well kept, with pristine green lawns and a large flat open space for plenty of campers to spread out. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful campsite.

This was our 2nd time of staying at Kurrajong Meadow and most probably wont be the last! Kev and Tan are great hosts and go out of their way to check in with you to ensure all is okay. They take great care in keeping the site nicely presented for your arrival. It truly is a huge well mown site. Due to bad weather in the week or so leading up to our stay, we weren't able to access the creek as a tree had fallen across the pathway - Kev came down to inspect and was putting that job on his to-do list :-). Only a 15min drive into Gympie if you need to duck in for extra supplies. Thanks again Kev and Tan for sharing your property with us.

Booked Hideaway Camp, but unfortunately Queenslands weather of late made it unusable. Kevin and Tan prepared a new spot in an adjacent paddock with a view of their dam and set up a fire pit for us great spot. Kevin was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a nice stay. If you want a place to just chill and sit around the fire, this is a nice spot.

We had my 40th birthday get together at Kurrajong Camp. Kev & Tan were so amazing and assisted in organising a portaloo and ensured we had everything we needed in the days leading up to it. As it was the weekend after TC Alfred we were a bit anxious about the weather and they kept checking the creek levels and sending daily weather updates. It was great! We have been here many times before and will continue to return many times again. It’s a great space and somewhere you can just sit back and relax. The creek is an awesome swimming spot too. The dogs loved it as much as us!

Once again we had a fabulous stay with Kev & Tan! Thank you so much for having us and allowing us to have Naomi’s 40th Birthday Celebrations on the campsite. Our guests all commented how beautiful it is and we were so happy to be able to share it with them all. Special thanks to Tan for arranging the portaloos for us, they were fantastic and positioned perfectly so there was no smell and the sensor lights made them the perfect solution for our gathering. Can’t wait to come and stay again!

What an awesome camp site. We stayed at Hideaway Camp - so private and peaceful. The area is really well looked after with neatly cut grass around the campsite. Hosts were so friendly and Kev delivered the firewood ready for our campfire. Instructions were clear and we found the camp easily. Local markets were on down the road so they were an added bonus as were the local rock pools about 10mins drive away. Highly recommend this camp.

Campsite Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at this campsite! The space was absolutely huge, giving us plenty of room to set up and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It’s a fantastic spot for those who love nature—there’s an abundance of wildlife, and the cool, flowing creek was perfect for relaxing and cooling off. Very nice fire pit too. One of the best parts was how dog-friendly the site is! Our dogs had the best time. The privacy here is also a big plus—plenty, plenty space. Kev, the host, was fantastic—super friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious, and pet-friendly camping experience.

We had a great stay at Kurrajong Meadow. Very relaxing and peaceful. Kevin and Tan were fabulous hosts. Very spacious campsite and extremely well maintained. Our group had the place to ourselves. Although it was a hot weekend, the shady trees and creek kept us cool over the long weekend. Highly recommend.
