Our well-kept, mowed campsite is completely private. You won’t see the road, our house, or any other campers. It’s just you, nature, and the serenity of the bush.
Important: You’ll need to be fully self-sufficient and bring your own portable toilet. Please only book if you’re set up for that.
No crowds. No noise. Just your own slice of paradise.
Wander through the orchard and forest on tidy trails, kick back by the fire, and soak up the sounds of the bush.

We have 1 powered location on Dingo Ridge hill top
We have 4 different camping locations along the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat and Wallaby Way.
We have 3 toilets and a Hot shower , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water.

"Kurrajong Meadows" is a large open grassed campground that is flat and spacious, north facing with excellent solar access and a sheltered forest to the southern creek side. A flowing creek is a short stroll from the campsite via a rainforest pathway. The area is perfect for large and small groups or those wishing for their own self-contained space.
"Hideaway Camp" is located down a slight incline to privacy. This site is perfect for couples, families and small groups. Creek access is via an embankment and the water is suitable for paddling.
Each site has a firepit as camping just isn't camping without a fire. 🔥(Or "bush TV" as we call it!) Firewood is available for purchase.
Ask us about our Camper Trailer for hire. Includes setup and pack down, so you can come straight from work or home and get into your relaxing camping break immediately. BYO queen bed linen, pillows and towels.
We allow pets 🐕 "off-lead" and offer pet sitting for a small fee per hour.

We are located between Noosaville and Eumundi., with beautiful Noosa and Coolum beaches only 15 mins drive away. The Tewantin ferry is only about 15/20mins for access to Noosa North Shore and Rainbow Beach (4WD for beach driving). The Eumundi Markets 10 mins drive.
We have a few options to choose from, shady areas or open sunny areas overlooking the dams. All sites have easy access, will suit self-contained motorhomes/caravans and campers who have own amenities and leave no trace, We do have a dump point and also a couple of port-a-loos available if required. We also now have a couple of hot showers if needed. There are 3 dams on the property so children need to be supervised at all times. Well behaved/social pets are welcome, but to be kept on a leash.

Welcome to beautiful Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, conveniently located between Pomona, Imbil, and Gympie. With easy access to the Bruce Highway, it's just 40 kms from Noosa.
Your private campsite includes an undercover shelter with picnic table and a fireplace with serene views over the dam, dotted with waterlilies, and out to the rolling paddocks, valley and ranges beyond. Firewood is included for the first night from 1 May - 30 September. Additional firewood is available for purchase at $15 per wheelbarrow. Please ask or message me if desired.
At Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, you’ll wake to birdsong and resident rock wallabies enjoying their breakfast, and wind down with a sundowner as the setting sun casts a golden glow across the landscape. Then, spend the evening by the campfire—it doesn’t get much better than that!
This exclusive campsite offers the best of both worlds: the peace and serenity of the countryside, with great coffee, delicious food, and charming towns all within easy reach. Discover the history of Gympie, the beauty of Noosa, and the rustic charm of Kenilworth and its surrounds, plus many stunning hikes —you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Jacaranda Ridge Campsite is suitable for self-contained caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and tent camping.
THINGS TO NOTE:
* This is an unpowered site.
* You must be fully self-contained, as there are no toilets or showers on-site.
* Campers must bring their own camping toilet (bush toilets are not permitted) and remove all waste upon departure.
* It is advisable to leave 2WD cars up near the gate when it is wet and damp. The approach incline to the campground can be slippery during these times.
* Dogs are welcome provided they are well behaved and on a leash or chain at all times. Please clean up after your dog and be mindful of local wildlife.
* You’ll have exclusive access to approximately 3 acres of the property. I live on the other side of the dam, and ask that guests respectfully remain on their side to ensure privacy for all.

Must be self sufficient No power/toilets/showers do have portable water if needed.
Pets allowed but must be on lead to protect our wildlife ☺️
We are in Booral which is minutes away from the barge that goes to K'gari/Fraser island. Minutes away from service station, Foodworks, bottleshop and airport if you might like to take a helicopter ride to see our stunning area from the air.
Plenty of take away shops and restaurants to enjoy on your stay.
Use of fire pit (if no fire bans are in place) Lovely dam to sit by and enjoy.
The property is gated for security. Looking forward to meeting some campers 😊

The property was very green and the grass was so soft, no shoes needed. Hide away camp was secluded and we had a very peaceful stay. Kev and Tan went above and beyond during our stay and all communication leading up to our stay was very clear. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and just relax.

Highly recommend Karrajong Camp. Tan and Kevin are lovely hosts, directions were on point and what you see is what you get.
We had the whole meadow (with beautiful lush grass) to ourselves, when you book it, it’s all yours. Our dog absolutely loved it too.
The creek was easily accessible and flowing which made for a fantastic afternoon dip.
Quality long burning wood fire wood is available for $15 per tub (02/2026) and fire pits available at each camp site.
We will be back for sure!

If you want a nice cool breeze and a magic view Dingo Ridge is it! There are other lovely camp sites along the fresh water creek and we even spied a platypus.
Warren and his father are wonderful hosts and couldn’t make us feel more welcome, we really look forward to coming back in the near future and thanks again for a great stay!

Perfect place for total peace and relaxation overlooking a beautiful dam full of flowering water lilies, water hens , ducks and the occasional kingfisher ☺️ also a family of wallabies grazing daily and kangaroos 😃 there is also a large covered picnic table which is fabulous for when it rains 😆☔️ totally private and no noise pollution of any kind, I never even heard a dog barking 👍 absolutely brilliant place and Steve is so extremely helpful and a star ⭐️ host as well as an amazing kind person 🥳👏🏼🥰 half an hour to Noosa Farmers Market or 20 minutes to Eumundi Market and these are such a treat for foodies 👍😋

We camped at the meadow in our caravan with 2 kids (1 & 5) and 2 dogs and had the most relaxing time, spent most of our time at the creek where the dogs swam and the kids played, can’t wait to go back. Kev and Tan were lovely and dropped off some goodies on arrival. Incredibly well kept property and will definitely book again

There are so many places to select from on the property to set up. The property was beautifully maintained. It is still a fairly new set up. I had a lovely long conversation with the owners about what’s to come and it sounds like it will have everything families will want in the near future.
The main dam was a beautiful and refreshing place to cool off and the deep bend in the river was an excellent spot near our campsite.

When to go
The busiest seasons on the Sunshine Coast are during the summer school holidays (December and January) and around Easter. At those times, you’ll need to book as far ahead as you can. The weather is great year-round, with temperatures averaging 28C (82F) in summer and 20C (68F) in winter.
Know before you go
- Rainbow Beach is a legally gazetted road for 4WD vehicles only, where road rules and speed limits must be followed.
- The closest National Park campsites to Rainbow Beach are at Poverty Point and Freshwater, which has both tent and trailer camping.
- Sand tobogganing is banned within Great Sandy National Park.
- Camping permits are required for all Queensland parks, forest and reserves and must be booked online and paid for before arrival.
