If you love your Fur baby they are welcome but must be on a lead and supervised. You can choose your own campsite on arrival, Our location is only 10mins to Imbil, 25mins to Gympie and 25mins to Cooroy. If a group booking is required or planning on staying with us for 5 days or more please send us a message for a special price. Each Site only Accommodates 2 Adults (MAXIUMUM) and up to 4 children, 1 vehicle. If there is more than 2 adults you need to book 2 sites. Our Camping spaces are for self sufficient campers, toilet & shower is required and all rubbish must leave the site.

The property has only been owned by 3 families since European settlement to Australia. Exclusive privacy, only one camping group at any time. Relax with only your family and friends sitting around a camp fire. Beautiful quiet spot next to a creek.Note July to December creek may stop flowing due to seasonal conditions. Fantastic stars and quiet spot. Access to Mapleton National Park. 40-50km of hiking and horse riding trails Price set slightly higher for exclusivity enabling a more private, quiet, tranquil experience with nature. Group size limit about 20 people. NOTE: FIRE BANS MAYBE IN PLACE DURING FIRE SEASON AUGUST TO DECEMBER. The host will update accordingly, but we will only get 24 hours notice of the change. If you want to be jammed in with 500 strangers, go elsewhere, if you want to really experience nature stay with us.

Stirling’s Crossing

Stirling’s Crossing is situated in the Mary Valley on a lush 150 acre Equestrian property, which is bordered by the Yabba Creek and the Imbil State Forest. Our spacious level sites are surrounded by lush paddocks and beautiful scenery. Large drive-thru sites perfect for buses and big rigs, there’s plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful farm setting. Guests can also bring their horses to Stirlings Crossing as Imbil State forest is perfect for horse back trail riding. Horse yards can be set up on request. The Tom Quilty has been held here twice before and will be held here again in 2026. Other endurance events are also held here during the year. There is an extra $10 charge per horse per night. Unfortunately there are no horses available here to hire. It is just over 100km north of Brisbane. The town of Imbil is only 6km away and has a recently opened IGA with all the supplies you need. There is also a bakery, 2 coffee shops, a pub with great meals, and a well equipped petrol station. There are markets every Sunday in the Main Street. Borumba Dam is 4.5kms up the road. It is perfect for boating enthusiasts who want to fish or do various water sports. The property has a large modern ammenities block. * Ladies toilet and shower amenities x 5 * Mens toilet and shower amenities x 4 * Disabled/Family bathroom x 2 There are limited powered sites available on request. There is access to the Yabba Creek for kayaking, swimming and fishing. You can also access the Imbil State forest either by 4wd, trail bike or mountain bike. Pets are welcome but must be on a lead as there are horses in paddocks on the property. This is a breeding and training horse facility so could guests please stay away from fenced off paddocks and the large horse complex. It is also requested for guests to please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it.
