Welcome to beautiful Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, conveniently located between Pomona, Imbil, and Gympie. With easy access to the Bruce Highway, it's just 40 kms from Noosa. Your campsite includes an undercover shelter with picnic table and a fireplace with serene views over the dam, dotted with waterlilies, and out to the rolling paddocks, valley and ranges beyond. Please note that there are long term campers on three other sites on the property, the closest being 70m away. Firewood is available for purchase at $10 per wheelbarrow. Please ask or message me if desired. At Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, you’ll wake to birdsong and resident rock wallabies enjoying their breakfast, and wind down with a sundowner as the setting sun casts a golden glow across the landscape. Then, spend the evening by the campfire—it doesn’t get much better than that! This campsite offers the best of both worlds: the peace and serenity of the countryside, with great coffee, delicious food, and charming towns all within easy reach. Discover the history of Gympie, the beauty of Noosa, and the rustic charm of Kenilworth and its surrounds, plus many stunning hikes —you’ll be spoilt for choice. Jacaranda Ridge Campsite is suitable for self-contained caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and tent camping. THINGS TO NOTE: * This is an unpowered site. * You must be fully self-contained, as there are no toilets or showers on-site. * Campers must bring their own camping toilet (bush toilets are not permitted) and remove all waste upon departure. * It is advisable to leave 2WD cars up near the gate when it is wet and damp. The approach decline to the campground can be slippery during these times. * Dogs are welcome provided they are well behaved and on a leash or chain at all times. Please clean up after your dog and be mindful of local wildlife. * You’ll have access to approximately 3 acres of the property. I live on the other side of the dam, and ask that guests respectfully remain on their side to ensure privacy for all.

Wallaby Glade is a beautiful, shady site interspersed with large boulders. You will have lovely views across a small water lily dotted dam. It is ideal for smaller tents, camper trailers and small caravans. Campers will need to be self contained with water, power and a sewage system. Firewood can be purchased for $10 per wheelbarrow load.

Loved staying here for a weekend with some mates. Steve was such an amazing host and made sure we were all good. He brought over some firewood for us when we got back from our day out and had a nice chat to us about it all.

We had a 2 night stay earlier this month, found it so peaceful, enjoyed the permanent sitting area overlooking the dam. We loved listening to the birds and Steve dropping off firewood 🪵 was a bonus. We would stay again. Thanks for having us 🙂

We had a great time here. Peaceful location with thoughtful touches, flat ground for the tent, and covered seating by the pond. Plenty of native birds nearby and scenic mountains. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I were super excited to go camping, it had been a long time coming. Only to be super disappointed. The description of the camp being 3 acres to yourself and privacy. Was no true at all, There was no mention of 3 other campers all within view each way you look. The fire pit over looking a camp. Mind you all these camps had gear that looked like full timers. I'm was very confused as there are 2 sites advertised on this camp, however we would've made it 4. We sadly drove home shortly after arriving, as we did not feel comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. Steve did process a refund after request, which was good.

A scenic site with easy access to Imbil and Gympie. The covered shelter, table and benches was a great addition. The driveway is a little steep but easily managed. You will have to turn the van around from the site to depart, which could be a bit slippery in wet weather.

I had a wonderful stay at Steve's camp site. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how beautiful and peaceful the location was, overlooking a lovely pond filled with water lilies. Steve greeted me on arrival and was incredibly friendly, welcoming and hospitable throughout my stay. He regularly checked in to make sure everything was going well, which was a lovely touch. The campsite itself was fantastic. Having a shelter with a picnic table was such a bonus, and I ended up using it the entire time. It saved me from having to put down a ground sheet or set up my awning, and it was especially appreciated when it rained yesterday. Overall, it was a great stay. Communication with Steve was excellent from start to finish, and I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for some peace and quiet away from other campers.

We were looking for somewhere to avoid the crowds for the long weekend and this spot was just the place to do that! You need to be self sufficient, but the listing is clear about that. Steve was super lovely and welcomed us upon arrival.

Fantastic spot. Lovely flat area made to set the van up. The picnic table setup was great. Didnt have to setup ours. Highly recommend the site. Steve came and said hello and we had a quick chat, very friendly.

Perfect place for total peace and relaxation overlooking a beautiful dam full of flowering water lilies, water hens , ducks and the occasional kingfisher ☺️ also a family of wallabies grazing daily and kangaroos 😃 there is also a large covered picnic table which is fabulous for when it rains 😆☔️ totally private and no noise pollution of any kind, I never even heard a dog barking 👍 absolutely brilliant place and Steve is so extremely helpful and a star ⭐️ host as well as an amazing kind person 🥳👏🏼🥰 half an hour to Noosa Farmers Market or 20 minutes to Eumundi Market and these are such a treat for foodies 👍😋

Jacaranda Ridge was a peaceful spot with beautiful views over the hills. Wallabies and birdlife everywhere. The private picnic shelter was a bonus. Steve, the host, was very helpful with information on where to go and what to do in the area. Definately recommend staying at Jacaranda Ridge.

We loved camping at Jacaranda Ridge! Steve is a lovely host. Extremely friendly and helpful. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. The site was very neat. We loved making a fire and just watching the stars. Very quiet and peaceful. The dogs had a ball. I would highly recommend a stay and we will most certainly be back. Thanks Steve
