Welcome to beautiful Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, conveniently located between Pomona, Imbil, and Gympie. With easy access to the Bruce Highway, it's just 40 kms from Noosa. Your private campsite includes an undercover shelter with picnic table and a fireplace with serene views over the dam, dotted with waterlilies, and out to the rolling paddocks, valley and ranges beyond. Firewood is included for the first night from 1 May - 30 September. Additional firewood is available for purchase at $15 per wheelbarrow. Please ask or message me if desired. At Jacaranda Ridge Campsite, you’ll wake to birdsong and resident rock wallabies enjoying their breakfast, and wind down with a sundowner as the setting sun casts a golden glow across the landscape. Then, spend the evening by the campfire—it doesn’t get much better than that! This exclusive campsite offers the best of both worlds: the peace and serenity of the countryside, with great coffee, delicious food, and charming towns all within easy reach. Discover the history of Gympie, the beauty of Noosa, and the rustic charm of Kenilworth and its surrounds, plus many stunning hikes —you’ll be spoilt for choice. Jacaranda Ridge Campsite is suitable for self-contained caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and tent camping. THINGS TO NOTE: * This is an unpowered site. * You must be fully self-contained, as there are no toilets or showers on-site. * Campers must bring their own camping toilet (bush toilets are not permitted) and remove all waste upon departure. * It is advisable to leave 2WD cars up near the gate when it is wet and damp. The approach incline to the campground can be slippery during these times. * Dogs are welcome provided they are well behaved and on a leash or chain at all times. Please clean up after your dog and be mindful of local wildlife. * You’ll have exclusive access to approximately 3 acres of the property. I live on the other side of the dam, and ask that guests respectfully remain on their side to ensure privacy for all.

Wallaby Glade is a beautiful, shady site interspersed with large boulders. You will have lovely views across a small water lily dotted dam. It is ideal for smaller tents, camper trailers and small caravans. Campers will need to be self contained with water, power and a sewage system.

Such a beautiful place 🙌 we had the best time camping here and would definitely visit again. Surrounded by beautiful sunsets and scenery, definitely a beautiful place to camp.

Wallaby Glade Campsite
Steve was so helpful! We had such a lovely experience, was so peaceful and loved watching the native wild life. He provided some firewood and we were able to purchase some more which was helpful

Jacaranda Ridge Campsite
Jacaranda Ridge was a peaceful spot with beautiful views over the hills. Wallabies and birdlife everywhere. The private picnic shelter was a bonus. Steve, the host, was very helpful with information on where to go and what to do in the area. Definately recommend staying at Jacaranda Ridge.

Steve is a very welcoming host warm and friendly greeting, beautiful campsite, lovely and peaceful and a bonus you have it to yourself. Such a privilege to be able to share someone else’s property. Looking forward to staying again.

We loved camping at Jacaranda Ridge! Steve is a lovely host. Extremely friendly and helpful. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. The site was very neat. We loved making a fire and just watching the stars. Very quiet and peaceful. The dogs had a ball. I would highly recommend a stay and we will most certainly be back. Thanks Steve

What a beautiful location, we had such a lovely relaxing time, the permanent hut came in handy, and steve came down to say hello. The stars where amazing at night. Thanks steve for letting us stay on your beautiful land. Our 2 little doggies loved staying there to. Penny kyle poppy & frankie

We had an amazing two-night stay at Steve’s Hipcamp! The scenery was lush and beautiful, with plenty of privacy to truly relax. Steve was a fantastic host—so kind and helpful. Camping under the stars here was a peaceful, unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

This is an ideal spot for anyone seeking a tranquil escape, whether you're planning a weekend break or an extended week-long stay. During our week there, Steve proved to be the perfect host - welcoming and friendly with excellent communication throughout. He greeted us upon arrival and then gave us complete privacy to enjoy our getaway. I'd highly recommend this place if you want a campsite entirely to yourself. The wildlife experiences were incredible - kookaburras and a family of wallabies became daily visitors during, which was absolutely delightful. The only weather-related note: we encountered some rain on our final night, which meant we needed 4WD to reach the gate when departing. Steve does mention this in his listing, so it wasn't unexpected. We're already planning our return visit!

Sweet lil spot overlooking a small dam. Good size fire pit with wood supplied. Shelter shed was great too. Dog friendly 🐾 Steve is a fabulous, friendly host & would highly recommend 👌👍

A lovely peaceful site to relax and wind down and the undercover area is a great to have your morning coffee and watch the sunrise. Steve is a great host, approachable and helpful. We loved our stay and have already booked a return visit!

Excellent spot, easy to get to. Great single, level pad, with handy undercover area. Beautiful property, with views over dam and farmlands. Awesome, quiet spot to unwind. Loved watching the birds and wildlife throughout the day. Steve was a great host! Came to meet us after we arrived, then left us to ourselves. Communication was great, which made it easy to organise purchasing some extra firewood. Thanks again for having us, Steve 😊

The privacy of this spot is why I picked it, and it did not disappoint. Ive already shared the site link with friends, as this is a nice place to do to check out and unwind. Loved seeing the little wallaby family, and discovering the different plants and flowers around the property. The picnic spot was perfect for morning coffees, will definitely be back:)

Great spot to pull up for a few nights. Beautiful area to camp and unwind. Steve was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet spot to camp, but still nice and close to town.

We had a lovely three nights sharing the site with mother nature especially all the different birds in the morning sun near the dam, Steve called in to welcome us the first day and was very helpful and friendly then just left us alone for the rest of our stay. We'd highly recommend for a peaceful getaway and will hopefully be back again soon
