Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.

Our property is situated on the northern face of Mount Goonaneman and is most ideally suited for RVs and self-contained campers. Two large campsites are available, set at the entrance to the property allowing easy access for large vehicles. Both sites back onto a seasonal dam offering a beautiful arena for picnics and star-gazing. Bring a blanket and enjoy the absolute tranquillity of the mountain, surrounded by our resident wallabies and other native wildlife. Lots of bird-watching opportunities, including forest kingfishers, channel-billed cuckoos, pale-headed rosellas, and whistling kites. The entire area has lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to manoeuvre and park. Well behaved pets are welcome: dogs on leads to protect the wildlife, please. Campfires permitted when no fire bans are in place. Most suitable for passing travellers looking for a quiet night to stay. We are off grid, so fully self-contained guests only as no facilities are provided: BYO everything, including drinking water, chemical toilet and shower facilities. Guests must take all waste with them on departure. Our property is located approximately 5 minutes from the Isis Highway. Childers is under 30 minutes away, Biggenden approximately 25 minutes. We live onsite in another area of the property, but available for questions or help.

This a great spot to KAYAK and wet your line with bass, saratoga, sooty grunter and lots of catfish! Platypus inhabit the river too, so bring your camera. Biking and bush walking are popular with guests. Please note that the river bank is quite steep. We recently had 2 access tracks constructed to the river for easier KAYAK launching. We are pet friendly and welcome SELF-CONTAINED RV campers only (council regulations). Our wetland has lots of bird life with quite a few raising young. Very quiet lovely open rolling green fields, lots of flat areas, the dam was lovely and warm for swimming or kayaking and the river walk on the river side was very pretty. Internet service was very hit and miss couldn't monitor the storm activity

We enjoyed camping at Greg’s campground with a great view of the river, the site was well maintained and with the sites nestled between the trees giving a lovely succulent feel. Greg was a great host meeting us when we arrived and spent time in explaining the site, Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Aussie bush property on the Mary river, plus a spring fed lake with beautiful water. The mornings were great foggy cool mornings , the weather had been dry for a whole Le so the grass was getting hard and dry, the horses are beautiful and love a pat. Playing golf on the makeshift gym of coarse was a bit of fun with the boys. The only problem we had was someone on an adjacent property was having what they called a party to all hours of the morning so you could just hear the bass till 7am, but that can happen anywhere. Would go again.

Music was great and host is friendly and helpful. Booking an exact campsite would have been more ideal - as we were the last of our group to arrive and there was no clear area left for caravan. Ended parking along roadway in front of other two vans- worked well but not ideal. Thank you for a good weekend.

Really nice stay. Greg is a great bloke very helpful, his property is right on the water with plenty of fish a crab to be caught! Our young children had a ball playing in his little tidal lagoon . It's not deep so you dont have to worry about them too much. Campsites are spaced well apart so dont be concerned about neighbours. Minutes away from town and Hervey Bay if you need anything or want to go on a day trip. We had great phone reception also 😀 on our faves list for sure.

Great space for camping. Lotsof good flat grassed for our setup. Even though there were lots of people we didn't feel on top of each other or other campers. Facilities are great. Nice hot showers and camp kitchen. The band were fabulous on the Saturday night. Bushie was available for any questions. Great place to stay for the long weekend.

Amazing place to come with 3 little kids. Woke up to beautiful horses which the whole family loved. The river was absolutely stunning to swim in and the kids caught some bass also whilst walking up to the rapids was priceless. It was a total fire ban and wasn't Vanessa's fault and camping without a fire sux but realistically you don't need one here which was weird for us 😆 and awesome at the same time. You can golf here also and had full phone reception . Lagoon offered free kayaking. Totally recommend and definitely will return in the near future.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The hospitality was amazing and the campground was absolutely gorgeous the whole place would as just breathe taking, natural spring fed lake, river access , 9 hole golf course, kayaks and you even get fire wood supplied . Ian and Vanessa and of course Sasha the Dalmatian were so friendly and courteous. We are definitely returning back here
