We have a beautiful large dam, where our Dam campsite is located, that is home to turtles, water dragons and birds. We also have the Beachy River campsite which is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles and walk in campers. Guests must be self-contained with own toilet. Campfires permitted.

There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. It is an 8 min drive to the local food works, BP servo, chemist and a 12 min drive for takeaway options. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided. Families are welcome although children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a very large dam on the property with ducks and turtles. Children are including in the booking.

Keep an eye out for the beautiful native wildlife …. Kangaroos, possums, a variety of birds and maybe even a rabbit or two. Bonus…at night enjoy the show as the trucks pass by with all their lights on display showing through the trees (yes you can hear them but not intrusive)it adds to the charm and the vibe. Clear skies with stars by the thousands, find your constellations whilst visiting. Tiaro main street is only 3 mins away by car and is home to the well-known Tiaro butcher and the Tiaro Christmas Cottage. Maryborough 20 mins and Gympie 40 mins. Perfect position to base and explore from. More and more features and facilities are being added slowly so keep an eye out! On the plans are showers, special event nights, projector screen movies, kids playground, outdoor kitchen, and picnic table areas…… No powered sites but we have a power point in the toilet block for device charging.. Gallop over endless sandflats at Tuan on the Great Sandy Straights, see the brumbies on the pine forest trails. TRAIL BIKES - kids with no bigger than 50cc welcome but must ride in designated area under full parental supervision. For adults there are huge state forests next door with fantastic trails as will as the sand trails in the enormous pine forests close by. We also produce microbe rich fertiliser bringing life and abundance back to the soil, turning around desertification. Completely surrounded by state forest, abundant with native wildlife including echidna, wallaby, kangaroo, lizards, birds, frogs ( 17 recorded and identified species ) and insects. We have a lovely shaded camping ground, with camp kitchen with solar lighting and fridge/ freezer. A large fire pit great for the evening marshmallow roast. Firewood can be self supplied or purchased onsite. (approx. $20 per night) Walking tracks throughout. Local produce can be arranged for some meals if in abundance at booking time. Animal feeding and regenerative farming tours can be arranged. There is also a full camp set up for hire with queen size mattress and rooftop tent ( sleeps 4)

Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Firewood available at an additional cost or BYO.We look forward to seeing you.
