Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads..
Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet.
Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities.
Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often.
Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding!

Our property is situated on the banks of the great sandy strait just 400m from the Tuan Boat ramp with access to Fraser Island by boat or kayak. We are surrounded by Tuan State Forest and wetlands. There is a medium sized dam on the property for swimming.The Tuan Forshore has a park, BBQ area and picnic tables as well as garbage disposal.
There is plenty of space in the surrounding forests for mountain biking, motor-biking and walking. 3km down the road in Boonooroo you will find a large park with tennis court and public BBQ's. The bowls club and Golf Club just 3km away and serve meals on weekends.
This site is suitable for caravans, RV's, camper trailers. There is NO toilet facility on the property. We are VERY dog friendly and can be off lead as long as the dogs are friendly towards people and other dogs and don't bite our horses. We also have other peoples horses agisting in paddocks. Activities you can do include boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, walking, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, kangaroo spotting, playing in the parks, beach tennis, mountain biking, hiking etc.
Camp sites are far from the main house and other sites so you can have camp fires and play music, use generators without worry.
Campers will need to be self contained (rubbish and toilets) and please leave your campsite the way you found it. Don't leave toilet paper or rubbish in fire pits please.
Enter / Exit the main gate by pushing the code into the key pad. Gate closes after 20 seconds once it is fully open so be quick.
NOTE: ***During Summer- November, December, January and February there are midgees (sandflies) at dusk and dawn and we do recommend midgee screening or spraying the mesh on your caravan windows as the standard mozzie mesh will not keep them out. Bring coils, a fan as they hate any breeze, bug spray and long sleeved pants and tops to wear in the evenings from about 5pm-7pm!***

We have a beautiful large dam, where our Dam campsite is located,
that is home to turtles, water dragons and birds.
We also have the Beachy River campsite
which
is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles and walk in campers.

Great spot on the river, spacious sites with plenty of seating and picnic area. Fire pits on every site. friendly and welcoming host. Peaceful and relaxing, booked for 1 night and stayed another as it was so beautiful. we'll definitely return.

The Oasis camp-site was perfect for our group of 15 (4 families), with privacy and plenty of space to spread out and play games, ride bikes etc. The amenities (although a little walk away) were very clean and the showers were nice and hot with fantastic water pressure. The kids loved the slip n slide, animal feedings, trivia night and swimming/paddleboarding in the river. The river is suited to older kids, rather than toddlers, with little room to sit and splash around. The owners were lovely and we would definitely return.

Stayed there 5 nights top little spot on the water will definitely plan to go back
There was a bit of road noise which has to be expected being so close and sand flys weren’t bad at this time but can see they would get bad with the right weather good fishing from the bank a lot of run when the water moves and is blocked off at low tide with sand bars and rock bars nice place to stay

Peaceful river was the beautiful escape that my kids and i needed the grounds where amazing and well looked after the free roaming cows where also spectacular for the whole family views of the river all round from every side. It will be a place we go to regularly now.
