Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. You'll meet Kelvin the Scottish Highland Bull, Oakley who is new mum to Lucy Moo born 5th of February and Willow, mum to Ferdinand (Ferdi) born earlier this year on the 3rd of January, so two beautiful calves to watch doing zoomies around the yard, swimming in the dam or chilling under a tree 😁 Also some chooks, ducks and Guinea fowl and our 2 dogs Jesse a blue heeler and Cane our Maremma who is the night guard for our animals so does bark a little at night if there is a fox or something around, he and Jesse are super friendly. Relax with a cuppa, unwind with a book or go for a short bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature here at our farm. There are wonderful cafes and bakeries in Childers, an IGA and Woolworths. We are near Bingera National park, Cordalba state forest with an hour to some top snorkelling spots, also Drive passed acres of sugarcane and macadamia fields we are 45 minutes from Hervey Bay and 40 minutes the other way to Bundaburg.
