Caravan parks near Gin Gin

Gin Gin and its surrounding areas provide a surprising mix of exploration amid caravan camping accommodations. Just south, Good Night Scrub National Park protects a significant portion of dry vine scrub and hoop pine rainforest where caravanners can traverse a network of fire trails while gaining insight into its logging history. Keep an eye out for over 166 species of native birds, then park at a caravan park with flush toilets, communal cooking areas, and pull-through sites. Or venture to Warro National Park, made up of rainforest and eucalyptus forest. Primitive campgrounds are available for smaller caravans and include unpowered sites with private firepits, off-leash pet areas, and space for slideouts. For more nature, take the motorhome to Watalgan State Forest, which encompasses part of the Watalgan Range and includes open forest and pine plantations. It’s known for its 4WD tracks, which wind through the park, leading to sites like Double Sloping Hummock. Stay a few nights at a campsite with composting toilets, potable water, and access to laundry.
