Ellen Grove is located next to the family’s farm and offers 15 acres atop a hill with stunning views of cattle country with cattle grazing in the paddocks below. Is is an extremely quiet and peaceful location at the end of a no through road. 360 degree unobstructed sunshine views! You are welcome to have moveable fire pit supplied from your host in the evenings and enjoy the amazing sunsets. Timber is available to purchase. The freshest organic eggs for sale when available. Chicken feeding for the kids. Dogs welcome. Prickleless grass. Choice of two gorgeous sites. Long walks or bike rides around the property on easy tracks. Visit and feed the cows with your host. We are close to historic Childers,5 minutes away, many state forests and national parks so there is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. We are just over half an hour from Woodgate beach. Feel free to walk around my property and explore the views of the Mt Perry and Biggenden mountain ranges. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own shower facilities. There is a drop toilet available in the paddock which is comfortable. We have rubbish, recycling and composting facilities available for campers to use for their waste.

Faces east and you can watch the sun rise from the gorgeous love swing! Overlook the red and green hills as the cows meander around and up to the fence within walking distance. Power and water at this site too, loads of privacy and easy to access.

On Sunset Strip you can enjoy the afternoon sunset and be close to the outdoor dunny with the best view. Large, open, luscious grassed areas to pull up for extra privacy whilst having access to power and water. Views of the sunst over Mount Perry ranges and walks around the property are endless. Have a pat of the friendly cows and horse right next to your camp site!

5 star location and host - what a fantastic view! Can drive through and keep van connected. Only one other guest van on the other side of the property - beats staying cheek by jowl in a caravan park. Michelle was a great host - she greeted us, showed us around and even farewelled us the following morning. She even runs Pilates classes and next time through we’ll join in (time permitting)

We loved our 2 nights at Ellen Grove. Michelle was the best host. Our 4 Border collies loved it as well and had many plays with Coco , Michelle's dog. We had booked the sunset strip but when we arrived and saw the other site available we set up not far from the swing seat. Having power and water was great! The views were so lovely. We wish we could of stayed longer. We would definitely return to Ellen Grove.

Lovely location and although super conveniently positioned just off the highway, you would think you were out further off the beaten track. Peaceful and lovely, would definately come back. Michelle was a brilliant host, was quick to respond to all my questions and mails before arriving and met us when we arrived with a big smile and very helpful. Only downside was we stayed for one night as a stop over on our way up the coast, as we would have loved to stay longer. Great find!

The Love Avenue!
Michelle was an amazing host. We were here for 2 nights. Very quiet and peaceful. Property was easy to find and we chose to camp near the horses. Dogs loved it here too, plenty of space to sniff around.

Amazing spot to camp, Michelle was very accommodating and friendly. Not far from Childers for supplies/groceries and 30 minutes drive to Woodgate Beach. The property is well manicured and looked after providing a nice spot to post up for a couple days.

What a beautiful place to stay! Michelle is a wonderful host. The kids (and myself) loved doing the cow feeding, what a blast! Highly recommend visiting Michelle at Ellen Grove 😀 ❤️

Such a beautiful & peaceful spot to camp for the weekend. The sunset view, fire pit and stars were amazing! Michelle was so welcoming and helpful, it really was a delight staying at her farm. Loved meeting her animals, Angel (horse), Minnie (cow), Coco (dog), who all came up for hello’s next to where we parked. Drop toilet was clean and not scary 😂

Well kept property with friendly animals and lovely host. Good phone signal and tv reception. We enjoyed the double hammock and the appreciated the organic bananas. We would definitely stay again when nearby.

Michelle is such a warm, welcoming and genuinely caring host. From the moment I met her, I felt welcomed and relaxed. She is very passionate about providing a safe environment for all her campers. I could not recommend staying at Ellen Grove any more highly, I really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back again.

The views from every direction were beautiful and the evenings watching the sunsets were very relaxing. Michelle was lovely and very accommodating. It was the weekend we were looking for and we plan to return.

Lovely picturesque place to camp. Perfect stopover for us on our trip north. A short drive to Childers which is one of Queenslands most beautiful country towns.

Firstly Wow! This stay was amazing! Michelle is such a welcoming and caring host, made our stay so effortless and was so kind to our kids. Is definitely a rare find, enjoyed the red dirt, the views, the fruit and nuts we could forrage on the farm. Is close to the freeway so a little noise there but only minor. Close to Childers and Apple Tree Creek (check out the bird park). 4g tower close by so reception was exceptional. Stayed 6 nights could have done more easily, we'll be back!

Beautiful camping spot, Very quiet and relaxing! Such a neat property, felt very clean and looked after! Michelle was lovely! She made us feel at home and we had a great night with a nice warm fire pit that she provided for us as we didn’t have our own 😊 Can’t recommend this place enough!
