Located right off the Bruce Highway on your way between Maryborough and Bundaberg Yet the serenity and space of the well-maintained pad provides you with the privacy and rest that you deserve. You wouldn’t find a better spot if you tried. Easy, close to amenities, still along the route, with the pub, its meals and cold drinks around the corner if you need it. But the pub is far enough not to be in your face. The pad is safe, a toilet and a shower blocks are right there. Meticulously maintained facilities. All our guests that came once, always return. The reason is simple enough, the value for money is incredible. Apple Tree Creek Pub
I had a lovely overnight stay at Elena’s on my way north. The ground was nice and flat, which made it perfect for camping, and the surroundings were lush and green. The only minor downside was some truck noise from the nearby highway, but that’s to be expected given the location, and it actually turned into white noise after a while. Being so close to the highway made it really convenient to get back on the road the next day, and it was great having the pub right next door. The toilet and shower facilities were super clean too.

Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping
Mt Warning sugar view river camping is such a great little camp spot set amongst the sugar cane fields… Spectacular views of Mt Warning at sunset, private and tranquil. The portable toilet on site was super handy and we loved being able to take our dog with us. Perfect mini getaway :) Can’t wait to return!

Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping
We loaded up our tinnie with our camping gear and dog, launching the boat in Tweed Heads. We traveled upstream, arriving right out the front of the campsite at sunset, utilising the little boat ramp next to the campsite to jump out. This is a great little private spot, nestled amongst the cane fields on the Rous River with Views of Mt Warning. Plenty of fish here too.

Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping is a little hidden gem amongst the Cane fields. Having it all to yourself with Mt Warning in the background while you sit on the bank fishing and relaxing made for a perfect mini getaway.

Beautiful spot amongst the sugar cane. Perfect view of Mt Warning. Was nice to have the port-a-loo there and also be able to take our doggo. We had enough water for the one night, but given there's no water available would just remember to take extra water if you're staying longer. Wish we caught some fish though! 😊

Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping
Amazing spot! Nice flat camping area with enough room to set everything up. Great view across the water onto Mount Warning. We will definitely be back again. Elena was very helpful and easy to deal with.

Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping
My partner and I had a lovely getaway at Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping. It was extremely private. We spent the afternoon fishing and got 6 between us! Incredible view of Mt Warning. We would definitely stay again. Super close to the Gold Coast which was a bonus.

A wonderful spot - highly recommend
Mt Warning Sugar View River Camping
I had a wonderful few days and nights at the camp spot. Such a beautiful place with incredible views and surroundings. Elena was a wonderful host, the spot was very private and she was very helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to others and may well come back here some time in the future.
