This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 3 are located in the creek paddock and 1 in the Orchard. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club . And only 4 kilometres away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options. This host is named Guy. He is awesome - made my stay very pleasant. I did the animal feeding experience, extra feeding bucket , and got some fresh eggs from the host. I highly recommend adding these to your booking. The site is clean and private, with magnificent views of the surrounding hills and mountains The onsite 24/7 toilet and showers (with hot water) was the best. 10/10 !!

Weekend Trip to One Tree Hill

Guy and his family were welcoming and gave clear directions on how to get to the property and where to setup camp. The kids especially enjoyed feeding the animals. They have horses, ponies, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, chickens, turkeys and even free-range guinea pigs. The animals were very friendly and the ponies and chickens were very curious about what we were eating and came very close to us and the ponies allowed the kids to pat them. We pre-purchased a bucket of animal feed when we made the booking. Animal feed times are at 5.30pm and 8.30am. We camped near a tree towards the top of the driveway. The tree was decorated with festoon lights which provided a nice light to the bathroom at night. We got to see a shooting star and the kid's thought they might have seen Santa's sleigh. It was a great first time camping trip for us. Thanks Guy.

This is a really beautiful place - the view when we came out of our tent in the morning was stunning and the pitches make the most of it - we had a wonderful time sat around the fire pit listening to the birds and enjoying the peace and tranquility - - Sarah is a great host and gave us details of places to eat - walking trails etc - we will definitely be back

Absolutely beautiful site with incredible views!! Flat, shady, grassy site with firewood. Super peaceful and so many birds! Sarah and Scott were so lovely and welcoming, and checked in to make sure I was ok when a big storm rolled through. Will be visiting again!!

3 nights at Burringbar Camping - The Haven

Stayed for 3 nights at Kates property and it was great. We had the area to ourselves and stayed in front of the bamboo area facing the road so we got full max of the sun for our solar. Was not an issue facing the road side at all. Welcomed on arrival by Kates husband (sorry, forgot his name). Like others have mentioned, firewood & firepit supplied and even down to fire starters! Communication with Kate was excellent. 40 minute drive to Tweed Heads so location is pretty good. Will definitely be back if we need a getaway from the Gold Coast or see another show in Tweed Heads.

One Tree Hill is stunning! Gorgeous views, peaceful vibes, and so many animals – horses, cows, goats, chickens, turkeys, plus kangaroos and birds. The site is clean and spacious, and Guy and his family are fantastic hosts who make you feel right at home. Highly recommend for a true country escape!
