Welcome to my beautiful 100 acres that backs on to Springbrook National Park. There are crystal clear freshwater creeks. Most campsites next to the creek. The property is mostly natural bush with some cleared patches for camping and horse grazing. The road entering the property is damaged due to the resent rain and you will need to drive through water. Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend.
Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river.
Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs).
Drop toilets and hot showers.
There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers.
Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance.
Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. If you are a disturbance to other campers you will be asked to leave without a refund.

This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a bespoke joinery workshop crafting designer furniture.
While Figtree Farm has been a camping destination for family and friends for many years and now we're happy to extend this welcome to Hipcampers too. As a starting point for this new venture at Findon Creek we offer 3 sites which are all suitable for larger groups; all situated on grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites, though the flats themselves are not boggy.
Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster.
If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall.
Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

Jandarra Farm offers a comfortable and peaceful camping experience on a working farm in the Gold Coast hinterland. Certified through Ecotourism Australia, Jandarra’s goal is to model and inspire responsible ecological stewardship and foster harmony and creativity to build a regenerative and abundant future.
Jandarra means 'place of peace' and we honour this by having a maximum of 6 campers at a time. Guests can visit the rockpool, take a self-guided walk through the rainforest, book a sauna (see Extras), and enjoy a conversation around the campfire under the stars (BYO firewood or see Extras).
Take a short, hot shower with a view of the hills, toilets and a camp kitchen (no microwave or fridge) inside a rustic barn with tables and chairs. Starlink is the newest additon to the farm though may not have coverage in the camping areas. Telstra has some coverage.
The 135-acre farm in Tallebudgera Valley is home to cattle, chickens, worm farms and bee hives, plus local wildlife. Guests are invited to learn about regenerative agricultural practices such as how Jandarra is managing cattle to build soil biology and rebalance nature, using holistic management practices - moving the cattle every day using electric fences (to replace the predators) and small paddocks (26 of them actually).
As food security and clean food becomes more important than ever before, we can contribute in a small way to improving the quality of your soil to grow vegetables by providing short introductory sessions on worms and manure for your gardens. See Extras for more information.

SUSTAINABILITY
The caretaker of this property co-founded "Boomerang Bags", a not-for-profit organisation raising awareness of plastic pollution through community engagement. There are over 1200 communities globally diverting material from landfill and creating habits of reuse rather than single-use. Therefore, drumroll...please bring reusable rather than single-use (eg beeswax wraps instead of cling wrap, real containers rather than takeaway) and take home any rubbish (you won't find any bins except for the food scraps). We would be very happy to show you how to make a boomerang bag for keeps on the industrial sewing machines that live in the garage. Let us know if you would like to try your hand and create a momento and useful shopping bag as part of the Jandarra experience (see Extras).
ABOUT REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE
Jandarra is the 40th property in Australia to undertake the Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) Process through the Savory Institute.
EOV was developed in collaboration with leading soil scientists, ecologists, agronomists and an extensive network of regenerative land managers around the world. EOV is a practical and scalable soil and landscape assessment methodology that tracks outcomes in biodiversity, soil health, and ecosystem function (water cycle, mineral cycle, energy flow and community dynamics). Jandarra has 10 Short term monitoring sites plus one long-term monitoring site. By recognising both land regeneration targets and trends, EOV endorsement is bestowed as long as land health moves in a net positive direction with the third year monitoring event in April 2023 confirming the positive trend. We believe EOV gives the land a voice and through this process, provides us with feedback to make better management decisions. We welcome a conversation and to share more information when you visit.

The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.
Here you can just be yourself, embraced by nature and view at the world from your Treehouse verandah.

We are also proud of our very special Red Cabin with its magnificent mountain view. it has been created with dedication and love. And again it is thanks to our daughter this time. She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature.
The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need.

Bally Mountain Lux Cabin escape

Welcome to the beautiful Bonogin Valley at the base of Mount Bally.
Beautiful Bonogin Valley is the location of our 7 1/2 acre property. It is heavily treed with the lux cabin up high in the tree tops. Surrounded by serene creeks, majestic mountains and an abundance of wildlife. It's a true escape from the hustle and bustle yet only 15 minutes from the big smoke of the gold coast.
Mount Bally Cabin is a luxurious tiny cabin in bushland facing Mount Bally. You can call it camping, but really this is glamping on another level. It is situated up high in the trees capturing the valley breezes and views, but most importantly the wild life and peace and quiet. Inside the cabin you will find everything you need. A queen size bed (linen is fitted and supplied), a large reading chair and lounge area. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with fridge and freezer, convection microwave, induction cooktop, espresso coffee machine, tea and coffee making, toaster and kettle. There is a picnic basket for adventures. Two sets of French doors open to a covered verandah area with cafe seating and then a open area with gas barbeque. Gas is provided. The outdoor area overlooks a frog pond and native garden. The cabin is airconditioned for those hot summer days and there are two guitars to have fun cranking out a tune. The Toilet, shower and laundry are downstairs complete with washing machine and dryer. Towels are provided. There is limited phone reception, which can give you time to unwind with no disturbances. There is intentionally no TV, allowing you to read or relax with no devices. The cabin is perfect for a romantic get away, serious hiking, bush walking, bird watching, mountain biking or and artists retreat. The entrance to the national park is at the back of the cabin, with fantastic walks and water holes along the creek. Mount bally summit hike is at an elevation of 380 meters with extensive views to Byron Bay to Stradbroke island. There is covered parking for 1 car. If you don't feel like cooking there is a great little cafe only 1 minutes drive, that's open for breakfast or lunch. Mudgeeraba and Robina are a mere 15 minute drive away with every restaurant and shopping you need. All you need to bring with you is your groceries, toiletries, a towel for swimming in the creek, some good walking shoes and maybe a great book to read. The cabin is not suitable for children or pets. New fire pit installed. Treat yourself to a wonderful time to relax and unwind.
You could easily use this as your base while heading off for the day to enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer.
In August we even have fire flies that can be seen just after sunset along the creeks in the vegetation.
The base of the ancient Bally mountain is right here. Offering hiking trails just steps from your campsite. Wander along the charming creeks where you might spot Azure Kingfishers, Satin Bower birds, spotted pardalotes, kookaburras, magpies, spangled drongo, dollar birds, and more. You might be lucky enough to see a koala!
If your up for a short walk, there is a lovely cafe just up the road, perfect for a morning coffee or breakfast.
As night falls, gather around your fire pit and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the valley. Fire ban restrictions will apply at different times of the year, so please check before lighting a fire.

Explore the abundant wonders of the rainforest throughout the nearby Border Ranges National Park, which is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. It features a large area of wilderness with untouched rainforest and unique plants and animals connected to the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana.
This site is situated at the base of The Helmet, a culturally significant woman’s mountain.
Come and pitch a tent or swing in your camper. The site is in its early beginnings, as we are converting an open paddock into a nursery and food forest. The two campsites are all situated close to the dam.
There is currently no amenities so you need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. (There is some availability of rainwater that’s collected at the nursery).

Stay next to natural attractions in a variety of accommodations—from dispersed swag pitches to safari tents to caravan sites. Tamborine National Park to the west presents a bountiful network of rainforests and unique plant communities while preserving the beauty of Tamborine Mountain. Nearby, Nerang National Park—a mountain-biking paradise—takes campers through extensive tracks and shared trails. South of Cedar Grove, explore Lamington National Park’s untouched rainforest lands on walking paths that wind through waterfalls, creeks, and landscapes.

Tamborine National Park
About 30 kilometres west of Cedar Grove, Tamborine National Park beckons with some of the best views of the Gold Coast hinterlands. Encompassing Witches Falls, Queensland’s first national park, Tamborine National Park offers vast systems of rainforest, woodlands, and other plant communities for campers to explore along walking tracks and forest trails for horseback riding. While the park does not permit camping, private campgrounds around Tamborine Mountain welcome tent campers, caravanners, and glampers. Amenities at nearby campsites include flushing toilets, firepits, and pet-friendly day areas, as well as hookups for motorhomes.
Nerang National Park
Nerang National Park is another Gold Coast gem for campers to explore. Take bushwalks and horse rides through the park’s eucalypt forests and rainforests. Best known for its mountain-biking opportunities, the park offers shared trails, including 20 designated cycling trails for all experience levels. Nerang doesn’t allow camping, though the surrounding area provides numerous holiday and camping accommodations for tents and caravans. Amenities include BBQs, laundromats, and free wifi, along with both powered and unpowered sites.
Lamington National Park
Officially designated as one of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, Lamington covers over 20,000 hectares of ancient forests and waterways. Traverse an extensive network of walking tracks to fully explore the grounds, from Gwongoorool to Python Rock. Along with opportunities for remote bushwhacking, Lamington’s designated camping area includes 24 tent or swag sites, 21 campervan sites, and 17 safari tents with shared ensuite pods. A wheelchair-accessible amenities block also includes nine toilets and 10 showers. Check out the communal kitchen, communal fire pit, and community hub to meet the neighbours.
When to go
Due to its year-round temperate weather, it’s always a good time to camp near Cedar Grove. The peak season tends to be summer when average highs hover around 30°C with high humidity and some precipitation. The off-season in Cedar Grove still sees plenty of activity as campers enjoy the sights without the heat. Winter sees an average high of about 22.5°C with chillier temperatures at night.
