Figtree Farm at Findon Creek is a 600-acre natural oasis. Tucked away in a tranquil, secluded valley, this hidden gem is surrounded by Long Creek to the south and Findon Creek to the west, while the northern edge extends to the Dedicated Wilderness of the Border Ranges National Park. This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. Cabin at Valley's End is our flagship accommodation at Figtree Farm. Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In wet weather, 2WD and AWD may need to park a short distance downhill from the cabin. In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Also in wet conditions they are not suitable for large caravans (in excess of 21 feet) unless you have some serious towing power (Landrover or RAM, for example). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional call of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Figtree Farm at Findon Creek promises opportunities for contemplation, relaxation and fun and it is our wish that you will have many happy memories of your visit here.

Jaya's Camp is a private, tranquil location on a large area of mowed creek flat (50m x 250m) adjacent to Findon Creek. The site is suitable for group camping. We take only one booking for a group and they have exclusive use of the site. The creek has a rocky bottom which is shallow in parts making it an ideal place for children to explore. There are also several small swimming holes and 2 larger swimming holes nearby which are shared space. There is a fire pit with firewood on site. We provide an amenities block at 929 Findon Creek Road: amenities include access to electricity, Wifi, a flushable toilet, laundry tub and hot shower. Amenities are a 5-minute walk from site. We welcome people with dogs but ask that they be kept under control at all times as kangaroos and koalas do not appreciate being chased! Things to do: our property is on the site of the old Lindesay View Post Office and we can provide access to the abandoned logging village at Long Creek. We are a 10 minute drive from the flying fox camp at Moore Park, a fascinating place to visit especially on dusk. There is an all-weather tennis court with lights at Bundgeam (8 minute drive); we are also a 1/2 hour drive from Kyogle or Woodenbong, and Wiangaree is even closer!

Honeymoon Flat is 5 acres of flat, open, mowed grass on a bend in Findon Creek. It is suited to larger groups and only one booking is taken so that you will have exclusive use of this section of the creek. Honeymoon Flat is a "biological hotspot" with remnant riparian vegetation fringing the creek and providing lots of shade. There is one small swimming hole for your exclusive use and 2 larger swimming holes in the vicinity that are shared space. Easy access as it is only 200m from the Findon Creek Road. Would suit self-contained campers as (shared) amenities are 800m further back down the valley at 929 Findon Creek Road. We have discounted the price accordingly.

The Old Post Office

The Old Post Office site is located at the site of the old Lindesay View Post Office, operated from a small wooden cottage by a lady affectionately known to all as Auntie Annie. Two majestic old Hoop Pines mark the spot. This site is the closest one to the amenities and we are also able to run ELECTRICITY to the site The flat grassy camping site is suitable for larger groups. It is approximately 120m long and 40m wide with the creek flowing alongside. The northern end of the site is very protected being shaded by large old Silky Oaks and pecan trees. Although it is close to the Findon Creek Road the site is quite private being screened by trees on all sides. It is also close to the amenities (walking distance to the toilet) and has wifi on site. Hipcampers will have exclusive use of 200 m of creekline which contains one small swimming hole. There are three larger (shared swimming holes in the vicinity).

Valleys End is a 3-bedroom cabin at the top of Findon Creek which is a No Through Road. With camping spaces around the site (and 3 bathrooms) it has capacity to accommodate larger groups. The cabin is well designed and appointed with a large kitchen/living space with a wood stove and a 50" smart TV. The cabin is surrounded on all sides by hardwood decks which give panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The neighbour's permaculture garden is also partially visible from the site. The cabin is surrounded by wildlife, great place for birdwatchers, there are also bushwalks up the gully behind the house and along the creek; swimming hole nearby. Please note price DOES NOT include linen or towels. Bedrooms as follows: 1. Master Bedroom: QB with ensuite and AIRCON 2. Middle Bedroom: 2 King single beds 3. End Bedroom: QB Although we have 6 beds we allow a further 12 guests to camp in the vicinity of the cabin. WHEN BOOKING INCLUDE CAMPERS AT THE CHILDREN'S RATE ($20 per night).

Wonderful stay, loved the quiet and privacy of the site, complete with waterhole! The hosts were great and Andrzej went above and beyond slashing a track for us to 4WD and get up close to the Border Ranges to then bush walk, not for the faint hearted but very rewarding. Also amazing to find out that Jim Flower was Jane’s Dad, all the great work him and others did to protect the pristine rainforest on the plateau from being logged back in the day. Will definitely be back.

I honestly can’t thank the hosts at Figtree Farm at Findon Creek enough for their kindness and hospitality. My car broke down unexpectedly, and what could have been a really stressful and difficult situation turned into something so much easier because of how incredibly welcoming and helpful they were. They looked after me and my girlfriend for two days, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and were genuinely kind and understanding throughout the whole ordeal. It’s not often you come across people who are willing to help a stranger like that, and I’m incredibly grateful that I ended up at Figtree Farm. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful and feels like a proper escape, but it was the hosts who really made the experience special. I came away from the experience not only grateful for their help, but genuinely glad I had the opportunity to meet them. I couldn’t recommend Figtree Farm highly enough, and I’ll definitely be back — hopefully next time with a car that actually works! 😂 Thank you again for everything. You went well above and beyond, and I won’t forget it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Figtree Farm! The photos really don't do it justice. We stayed at Honeymoon flat and had total privacy for our entire stay. The campsite was massive and the shared swimming holes were beautiful! Highly recommend if you want space, privacy and river frontage. The owners really put effort into putting the sites at the perfect distance from eachother and were really accommodating. We will be back!

This place is magic - so serene and beautiful, the perfect place to get away from the hectic rush of reality and life, to just relax in nature, away from technology and internet. We had the most relaxing escape, the place was perfect, beautifully maintained, the creek was stunning with easy access and so nice to have a huge space to ourselves where the dog could just run free! The firewood delivered to our site was a bonus, so we could just stay and relax. Our new favourite place to camp, we will be back! Thank you JB and family for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!!

The Old Post Office
Communication before and during our stay at FigTree Farm was exceptional! The Old Post Office site has the option for electricity, the shower and toilet very close by, WiFi and free firewood provided by the very friendly owners every night we were there. The site didn't have great access to the creek which wasn't a worry for us given we were in the middle of winter! The farm is big enough to go exploring and we checked out the other 2 camp sites together with the cabin which is in a pretty special location. Heaps of room for our party of 4 and 2 dogs. Very private too. Would recommend a visit here.

We loved camping here so peaceful and the creek is just stunning and crystal clear. So much space for us to set up and helpful having the firepit set up and firewood already there. You do need to be self sufficient as the toilet and shower is a bit of a walk from the location we choose (which we were prepared for from other reviews). Will definitely be back when the weather is a little warmer to make more use of swimming in the creek.

Cabin at Valleys End
We stayed at the Sweet water cabin and it was amazing. The cabin is nested at the end of the valley on top of a hill with amazing views and only wildlife to keep you company. Extremely peaceful area and well thought out cabin with spacious common area and large rooms. We loved every minute of it anf will be looking to return. The owners are very responsive via the app and easy to communicate. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay and overall would definitely recommend this campsite. The location was beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to spend the weekend. A special mention to the owner, who was incredibly friendly and visited each day to drop off fresh firewood. It was a really thoughtful touch and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The only feedback I’d like to provide is that the directions led us along a track where a tree had branches protruding into the road, which unfortunately scratched several of our vehicles on the way in. It may be worth trimming these back to make access easier and prevent damage to future visitors’ cars. It may also be beneficial to consider adding a portaloo near the Jaya site. While the existing facilities are only about a 15-minute round trip walk away, the track becomes very muddy when it’s wet, which can make the trip a little challenging. Aside from those minor points, we had a fantastic experience and would happily visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊

What an absolute gem! Jaya's site was bigger than expected and the access to the river was perfect for a refreshing dip. The privacy and peacefulness of the site was everything you need for a little gateway away from everything. The owner was such a nice person, dropping off wood to the site for the fire once a day. I highly recommend it, probably the best campground I have ever experienced.

4 adults and 3 furbabies.......wow what a fabulous time we had!!!! Everything in the house was just perfect and being able to be altogether sitting on the deck was the best. Late afternoon fires outside seeing the cloud roll in over the mountains and then the stars, bliss. We can't rate this place high enough. Thank you to Jane and her family for allowing us to stay in such a special place.

JB was an absolutely fantastic host and made us feel right at home, hands down the best Hipcamp we have attended! They were very kind and checked in consistently whilst bringing us plenty of firewood. The property was extremely well kept and the perfect site for our group of nine people- very private and close to the bathroom! The bathroom itself was great, the hot water was instant and definitely did the job! We had a great walk from our site to the creek entrance and the water was quite lovely. Unlike many other hipcamps we have been to where people seem to dump us on their land and forget about us, JB made us feel right at home and we will absolutely be back if they’ll have us! Thank you for a fantastic week!

The internet was available, but only near the bathroom area. However, it actually helped us disconnect and enjoy a more relaxing time. The campsite was spacious, which was perfect for our child to run around and play. The creek right next to our site had clean, flowing water, and it was lovely to dip our feet in and cool off. Even though it rained, we were lucky to see a beautiful rainbow, which made the experience even more special. The firewood being continuously provided for free was also a big plus. One thing to note is that the showers and toilets are located a bit far from the campsite, so if it’s urgent, you may need to drive there. It might be more convenient to bring a portable camping toilet. I truly recommend this place!!

Cabin at Valleys End
The perfect spot to camp with non-campers! The site had the most stunning views of the valley with nearby creek access. Level ground to pitch tents plus three double bedrooms in the house. Campfire pit and JB and family made sure we had plenty of firewood. Kids (and grown ups) had a ball exploring the grounds and creeks and watching the stars at night.
