Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall.

Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away.
Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd.

Shuttlebus available to our wonderful hippy village. There are curiosity shops with very different stuff, and a smoking culture. There is nowhere else anything like it. You can do Nimbin in a day. If you have time to relax and unwind, you can do it over two days, and enjoy the restaurants and cafes. I have local knowledge. There are lookouts with spectacular views. Here there's unusual fruit trees, a trampoline, and a basketball court if you want to shoot a few hoops, weights equipment, and a martial arts dojo if you are curious about learning some self defence.
There's a flat parking area for RV's and tents. It's a relatively small space - not an acre of grass. So it's a semi social area, and it's possible to interact and relax in the undercover area.
There's a fire place at night, and a Babakiuaera where you can get Wifi and play cards.
I'm a qualified driving instructor, so i know about vehicles and safe driving practices.

If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall.

Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away.
Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs and expected to be reopened late January 2026. We can still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way, ignore Google maps if it directs you to Lynches Creek Rd.

Shuttlebus available to our wonderful hippy village. There are curiosity shops with very different stuff, and a smoking culture. There is nowhere else anything like it. You can do Nimbin in a day. If you have time to relax and unwind, you can do it over two days, and enjoy the restaurants and cafes. I have local knowledge. There are lookouts with spectacular views. Here there's unusual fruit trees, a trampoline, and a basketball court if you want to shoot a few hoops, weights equipment, and a martial arts dojo if you are curious about learning some self defence.
There's a flat parking area for RV's and tents. It's a relatively small space - not an acre of grass. So it's a semi social area, and it's possible to interact and relax in the undercover area.
There's a fire place at night, and a Babakiuaera where you can get Wifi and play cards.
I'm a qualified driving instructor, so i know about vehicles and safe driving practices.

Nestled in the scenic hills between Lismore and Nimbin on our peaceful 277-acre beef cattle farm.
This is a place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature. The property features a running creek, seasonal waterfalls, subtropical rainforest pockets, and open ridge lines with sweeping views. Our bushland is home to abundant wildlife – keep an eye out for wallabies, native birds, and if you’re lucky, a koala drinking from our treetop water stations.
🐾 Pet-Friendly:
We love dogs, and they love it here too! Many of our guests bring their furry friends along for the adventure. There’s plenty of space to explore, just keep them supervised and under control around livestock and wildlife.

Explore our designated nature corridor, take a peaceful walk, or hike up to one of our lookouts. For those with a 4WD, parts of the property offer even more to discover.

This spot is stunning and the site (Jaya's) was very private. Distance to flushable toilet and shower was reasonable and this was the only time we saw other people. The creek was the highlight, it was clean and vibrant with a few swimming holes for those who don't mind a bit of chilly in their dip 🥶. We absolutely loved it. Private, pristine, and peaceful with lovely hosts who dropped of daily firewood and left us to enjoy the quiet. Ground is mostly flat and high enough from the creek to remain dry.

Fantastic spot, easily accessible, quiet, wifi was a great bonus to check in with the kids, had neighbours but didnt hear a peep. Bush camping feel but Still easy drive to major shops if needed. Walkable to general store and local Thai.

I arrived looking a little lost and the lovely Tania gave me a tour on the buggy it was fantastic! the sunset and sunrise here is incredible and you can choose to be a bit more private down the hill in some lovely spots or up by the common area which has wifi, full kitchen, TV, everything you need really. This place is so well looked after and loved, can’t wait to go back with friends.

Nice remote spot, plenty of campsites to choose from, some little bit more difficult to access at the back of the property, i.e. 4wd and off road van, but easy access sites at the front of the property.

Fantastic spot for a getaway! So central to many things - we visited local rail trail, beach walks, Byron bay, Burringbar and other quaint towns just a short drive away. Also 1 min drive to super friendly local grocery & liquor store and Thai take away.
Lovely flat grass paddock perfect for doggos to run around on. Highly recommend.

One of the top campsites I've been to in Australia, in my opinion! Nice roads+signage on the way in, toilets/showers, pond with kayaks, central games room + kitchen, and heaps of camping spots. Some of these spots have amazing mountain views! I can't think of anything this camp lacks in.

Where to start....
♡Amazing Hosts, Jane, Brad, Benji and Pepi are the best. So welcoming on arrival and there if you need them but leave u in peace to enjoy their property and the surrounding area.
♡Property is so very easy to access, is level and is so lovingly maintained. Caters for those who need or want water and power and or those like us, who went totally of grid. (Although we also got our water and firewood from Brad / Jane) on the property when we wanted it). A little romantic dam with water lillies complements the lushous green grass and was within a short walk from our site but the bird life and sounds were beyong terrific, like a song. Neighbouring cows can talk your ears off and watching the calf's run and bounce around like toddlers...was just so cute.
♡The Little town of Crabbes Creek and its people like Brad and Jane, are just beautiful, warmed heart old fashioned (polite, interactive, pleasent, well mannered) people. All so very welcoming to their little town. Must try out the 'General Store' it's automatic door is operated by a lady pulling a string to open it for you.... hungry, can't go wrong with the Thai truck, food is delicious.
♡The surrounding area has so much to do, Byron Bay is not far, the Rail Trail is great and so easy, so much fun and shops in Ocean Springs incl. a little Coles is 20mins down the road.
♡ So restful, so beautiful, so peaceful, certainly recharged our batteries. Home away from home...
