Welcome we are just 140 meters down Chestnut Rd on the left , look for the the little house letterbox at the front gate. See pic We now have onsite toilet for your convenience. We are located on six flat acres adjacent to Mt Tamborine in the picturesque Scenic Rim area. Chestnut Farm is only a short drive to the local wineries, alpaca farm and only minutes from the cute little town of Canungra with its famous pies and coffee shops. For a bit of mountain air take the short drive up to Mt Tamborine to the artistic hub of Gallery Walk. Chestnut Farm is a peaceful, serene place to camp. Enjoy native wildlife and an array of birdlife as you relax and unwind by a cosy fire. Take advantage of the local area activities such as hiking and horse riding trails, mountain bike tracks and climbing escarpments. You are going to love this gorgeous spot!We are 10 mins from Cungunra and in the midddle of the Scenic Rim nation park area 20 mins from Mt Tamborine. Set up camp with in 20 mins dirve of all Mt Tamborine and the Senic Rim has to offer ,the Sky walk and Gallery Walk on the mountain Pitch your tent or bring your camper, toast marshmallows over an open fire and find the serenity you've been looking for. BYO toilets facilites and camp fire items. Fire Pits and wood can be provided . Two acres away from the main house you have ultimate privacy. Easy access from Muldoolin Connection Rd The Wine Trail is at our front door.. Park you camper and visit all these areas.. Close to all the Tamborine Mountain activities and in the middle of the wine Valley has to offer. We have open fields with trees for shade and low cut grass w toith plenty of space and no cow poo. Pets must be on leads and bark collars used if dogs are barking. Very easy off road access ...2wd will have no problems . You can order fire wood for $50 dollars a very full wheel barrow..$25 for half. You have you own fire pit. We are 5 mins drive from Thunderbird Park. 20 minutes from Mount Tamborine

Good little spot, space to yourself to spread out and enjoy the environment.. kids loved the fire. Host was amazing.

We loved our stay here it was quiet and easy to access, Peter was a great host he came down and had a chat with us and made us feel very welcome. We camped next to the dam which was beautiful when the sun was setting. We will be coming back again to this camp.

This private camping spot was exactly what I needed for a quiet, peaceful weekend getaway. The surroundings were beautiful, with plenty of greenery and abundance of wildlife. If you're looking for a calm, secluded place to camp, this is an excellent choice

Loved camping at chestnut farm. Beautiful open space for our daughter to run a muck and the stars were incredible. 10/10 stay. Peter was an excellent host 👍
