Weekend Trip to The Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate

We really liked this spot and would definitely return. Lots of spots to set up, which are kind of marked out with portaloos or fire pits. Tom was awesome and cut some logs up for us to have a fire which burnt really well throughout the night. We also had trouble with our rooftop tent and Tom was able to get some tools to assist us for the night. Love all the cute roaming cows, but that does come with lots of cow poo piles so beware although our dog wanted to smell them all lol. Really private and would love to get a spot up on either hill next time but didn’t mind being down lower as we had more space to ourselves.

We had a lovely stay at Sleepy Hollows! The property is beautiful. Tom was great, helped us out to get firewood that lasted us the whole night. Loved getting to feed the cows too :) Overall was a great night away for us and we will be back, cheers Tom!

We loved Toms Land, loved the cows visiting us. It was beautiful and green. Plenty of shade and plenty of camps in the sun. Lovely little creek to have a paddle in(was too cold in June). Missed out on viewing the platypus, maybe next time. So many places to have a walk, so close to a beautiful soap shop up the road( sleepy Hollow soap Co) Only 10 minutes to Pottsville as well. Will definitely be back again.

Babbling brook, dark skies and no light pollution, crisp (freezing) air and a campfire at the Pecan Waterhole provided the backdrop to a much needed switch off!!

We loved camping at The Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate. The area was lovely with plenty of room to set up away from other campers. Being greeted by the cows in the morning was definitely a highlight. Tom was super friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be visiting again!

Weekend Trip to Eagles Nest Hideaway, Pecan Fields

Absolutely the best weekend we have had in a long time. Full family group camping and having fun. Kids were fishing, marshmallows on the campfire, watching passing horse riders and much more. Adults loved the warm winter sun, campfire chats, watching cowboy and dogs mustering cattle, collecting pecans and roasting on the campfire, and peaceful beautiful surrounds. Our host Robyn was very gracious and offered plenty of support and advice.

The whole property and experience was amazing. Beautiful land with plenty of different spots to choose from, clean toilets and easy access. Only a 10 min drive into town/ beach. Will definitely be back.

Pottsville Farm was absolutely beautiful with plenty of room for big groups. Host was really friendly and accommodating. We were worried about being close to the highway but the road noise wasn't bad at all. Highly recommended and will definitely be back

Eagles Nest Hideaway, Pecan Fields

This expansive 600 acre farm is a place of joy, sharing and rare beauty! Over one kilometre of "Rocky Creek" runs through the Pecan Fields camp area, providing gorgeous waterholes for swimming, walks and great sites to set up camp for the weekend! You can even see Platypus in the early mornings, playing in the creek. All of the camp areas are easily access-able and flat, usually 2wd car is all you need. We also provide you with creature comforts such as a cold/ hot shower and fresh pit toilets :) When booking, only book 1 site per group, as the sites are large. You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp. Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical. There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!

Pottsville Farm

We are a working turf farm located on the edge of Pottsville. We are a 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 3 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park). The perfect spot to have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure.
