We stayed in Cabin 2 on the left!
James and his wife are a part of a homesteading community down the road. They had a little garden next to the cabin.
We found a great spot right next to the cabin to set up our hammocks.
The bed is SO comfy and the linens/pillows are luxurious!
We stopped by Homestead Heritage down the road and got to see a blacksmith in action. Also got to see basket weavers, wood workers, and more!

A daily joy, watching the sun come up. Trees on the East side of the farm make it so pretty.
In the spring, watching lambs sproink is fun. These are registered Gulf Coast Sheep which are on the endangered list.
Watching lamb races, usually about an hour before sunset are a fun way to end the day.
Of course they need to stop for a snack.
And they like to pose for pictures.

You can see the front of the timber from our house. There is two open meadows in the front area.
