Ridley Creek State Park
Get away from the Philadelphia metroplex at this historic and scenic park.
Drive only 16 miles from Philadelphia to step back in time. This park offers paved hiking trails, a colonial Pennsylvania plantation, and a formal garden landscape. Figure out what to do among 2,606 acres of parkland with plenty of activities.
Start at Hunting Hill Mansion, a stunning complex of stone buildings. The original stone farmhouse from 1789 still exists. Visit the park office in the rest of the mansion, or book a beautiful wedding to celebrate your committed relationship.
Walk through several formal gardens, horse stables, and trails that remain from the original property. Successive owners chose to keep the place in good shape.
