Greenbrier is a jack of all trades. Here, you will find sandy shorelines, glassy canoeing waters, pristine camping areas, and beautiful scenery. Really, what more could you ask for? With the Appalachian Trail passing through the park, it also offers plenty of rugged hiking opportunities. Tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains, the freshwater lake makes for a killer swimming hole or fishing spot (bass, trout, bluegill, you name it). With a plethora of flora and fauna abounding, your soul will feel all sorts of refreshed after your stay here. Wildflowers bloom in the spring and trees boast fiery red and orange leaves in the fall; seasons here are truly a sight to see.

While here, check out the rock outcrops to get a little insight into the earth’s geological history (it’s cool, don’t deny it). From unique rock formations to blossoming shrubs, you’ve got the beauty and outdoor activities you need to keep you busy.
