Site 2 - Tent Camping in the majestic trees
Camping trip summer 2024
We went camping for two nights and stayed at campsite 2. My friends and I had an amazing time. If you want to get away from the crowded campgrounds this is the spot. We definitely plan on coming back. The river was crystal clear and the views were unreal. Thank you again!

The Gypsy Rose
Love the Gypsy Rose!
We had an amazing time in Caroline’s Gypsy Rose. She provided us with far more than expected (towels, dishes/utensils, water and even a fan to help us in the 4th of July heat). We were just steps from the river which was also very nice. Caroline and her family and pups were all very sweet and hospitable. Will definitely be back!

Can’t wait to plan another trip!
Our family loved Caroline’s property. Only a couple of tent sections which make it great to really get away from people. We will definitely be back for another camping trip! Super nice owners and awesome land. The creek is a joy to relax by. Thanks again Caroline, see y’all soon again!

Site 2 - Tent Camping in the majestic trees
Will likely make an annual visit
Love this place, wonderful for family camping, the property care taker was very kind to us, everything was clean. Definitely recommend river shoes, love the farm animals and the little bit of wildlife especially in the water. The water was crystal clear. The out house was very well maintained and super cute actually. That road or driveway up to the site is very intense and a little narrow but that won’t stop us from coming back.

Site 1 - Tent Camping in the majestic trees
Beautiful piece of land the owners have! Great private camping sites with the river close by. The river was definitely the best part, gorgeous view and easy to navigate. The outhouse was clean and useable for anyone wondering. Our Subaru cross trek fit up the hill, just a warning it is a bit narrow. I have nothing bad to say, thank you so much for sharing your land with us!

Site 2 - Tent Camping in the majestic trees
The site was nice and well maintained. There was a fire pit and a small table. I use a hammock and the site worked well for hammock camping (site 1 also looked like it will work for a hammock). It is a steep hill going up to the site. It would be a bit of a walk if you had to carry a lot of gear and food up. I was able to get up the hill on my motorcycle (I have an adventure bike, I wouldn't try it on a cruiser), but coming down the hill the next morning after a steady rain was a bit hairy. My preference for camping is to be completely away from civilization, but this location provides a good backup option compared to some parks where there are a lot of sites in close proximity.
