Great location and only a short drive to the beach. The camp itself is pretty simple but it’s what we expected when we booked. I would say to avoid this site if you have a low clearance 2WD as we struggled a little bit to get out with our campervan. Overall we would stay again purely for the location 😊

Close to the airport plenty of room to camp, nice and flat land. Midges so do come prepared for that. We arrived late in the evening and left very early in the morning. No toilet, no power and no water - be prepared for that too. No trouble contacting host was friendly to deal with.

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere initiated by John. Lot's of room for us in the Main Camp. My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all. I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.

Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Just a kilometer up the road from our site, you'll find a charming Dog Motel. Please keep in mind that the noise from the dog motel isn't a nightly occurrence, making it difficult to predict specific nights when it may be more active. However I've noticed that campers in caravans generally have a more insulated experience and are less affected by any early morning barking. If you prefer a quieter spot, I make it a priority to assign campers the farthest firepit, Camp 4, nestled deep in the bush, providing you with a peaceful retreat away from any noise. Additionally I'm delighted to offer electricity to all camps, ensuring your comfort and convenience during your stay. Whether you choose a campsite closer to the amenities or opt for the tranquility of Camp 4, rest assured that you'll have access to electricity. While the dog motel may occasionally add a touch of canine charm to the soundscape, I'm confident that the overall experience at my Hipcamp will be an enjoyable one. Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.
