Nestled in native blueberry bushes, high above a beautiful ravine and surrounded by pine trees. This Geo-Dome overlooks the Palmaghatt Kill Stream from its wide windows and beautiful deck. Equipped with a log queen bed, skylight above, super soft linens, cozy blankets, and a down comforter in the colder months. Included are towels, a mini fridge, bluetooth speaker, Keurig machine, coffee, charcoal grill, lantern, umbrellas, a mini library of books and 1 gallon drinking water. If you are coming as a family, one additional children's mattress on the floor may be added. Outside of your Geo-Dome you will find an amazing private fire pit, charcoal grill and hammock. Firewood bundles are available for purchase for $10 or you may bring your own. In addition, each site has an outhouse, which is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. A bit rustic, but there is no odor! Geo-Domes are a short 1 - 3 minute walk from parking. Please dress accordingly in colder months. You will be greeted by our Host at the gate for check-in and guided to your site. Guest waivers to be completed at check-in. Our Geo-Domes are dog friendly and require a $75 pet fee. One dog maximum. No cats allowed. You will have cellular service! There are miles of private trails for hiking with an amazing private waterfall as one of your destinations! We are adjacent to Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve (both a 20 minute drive to park entrance) which offer mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, rock scrambling, views of the Catskills and more! Nature is calling! **History of The Awosting Club** In the mid 1950's John Atwater Bradley, then a graduate student, attended a conference in Cragsmoor, the site of a celebrated art colony not far from what is now the Awosting Reserve and The Awosting Club. The next morning at dawn, he went out for an exploratory hike and did not return until long after dark. Bradley hiked through evergreen and hardwood forests, along bubbling streams, roaring waterfalls and shimmering mountain lakes. He discovered an incredible wilderness like none he'd ever seen, populated by whitetail deer, black bear, fox, racoons, bobcat and coyote as well as a natural aviary of hawks, peregrine falcons, owls, eagles and pileated woodpeckers. That day he fell in love with the Shawangunk Ridge. The Bradley family still maintain the property, and after 50 years of sharing the property with educational organizations, schools, artists, writers, explorers, camps, family and friends, are excited to invite others to fall in love with the Shawangunk Ridge as John Bradley had over 70 years ago. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. This 17-acre site has diverse habitats, from an upland pine and hardwood forest to wild native meadows full of blueberries, asters and milkweed. The most special feature is a large tributary and creek waterway system with areas of wetland. Once choked with invasive plants, it is now a largely restored native plant and wildlife habitat that supports migrating herons, trout, amphibians and clouds of Monarch and other butterflies. In the fall I've seen Monarchs circle up in vortexes from the meadows and take off on their migration. There are several large swimming holes where the creek turns or joins with its tributary. Bridges have been installed over the tributary and over brooklets feeding into it. A lot of care and love is going into this land. Over 500 native trees planted along the creek banks are growing into a forest - you'll see many still in protective tubes and cages. Thousands of native pollinator ground-plants have been planted or sprung up on their own, some like tiny flowering gems on the shady forest floors. The old stone walls running through the property and around its boundaries speak to its history as a farm and an apple orchard. Swimming, hiking, fishing and bird-and-wildlife watching will fascinate you in this dynamic landscape that is constantly coming closer to what used to exist hundreds of years ago and is now reestablishing itself. In the vicinity, there's Tetta's, a deli/cafe/gas station and small emporium with made-to-order pizza, local raw honey, mushroom, crafts, and all kinds of food, pretty much everything you need; it's been in the family for generations. Find it Northeast on Samsonville Road (County Rt. 3) at the junctions of Rts. 2 & 3. There's a hike to a waterfall if you drive a few miles down Upper Cherrytown Road from the end of Sundown Road: you'll see a parking lot with signs for the falls; the DEC-maintained trail is across the road (https://www.catskillmountaineer.com/SD-vernooy-falls-east.html). There's venues nearby along Rt. 209 with local musicians on Saturday nights: places like The Outpost Barbeque, 6611 Rt. 209 in Kerhonkson, Lydia's Cafe at 7 Old US Hwy 209, Stone Ridge. Katrina Falls at the Neversink river is a great Hike or to go swimming or go to the local Sanburg Creek water hole. One full size bed in the back room and 2 Twins in the front bedroom upstairs. The stairs are steep and the outside has uneven terrain so this retreat is not for elderly people or anyone who does not have good mobility and balance. The Hot water is limited because this is a cabin in the woods with its own Hot water tank. It is not hooked up to a Municipal water supply system with unlimited Hot water. You need to let the water Heat up again in the Tank for more hot water if multiple people are taking showers around the same time. During or right after a NorthEast Tropical Storm or Severe weather the power can go out. It will go back on !! Take advantage of the many Candles, Lantern and Board Games to play! Grind up some fresh Starbucks Reserve Coffee Beans. Condiments and Spices are also included. The cabin has its own Underground water well that goes 180 ft below the ground to pump up fresh, clean, Naturally purified chemical free Spring catskill water. Your hair and skin will feel soft and clean Relax, Release, and Enjoy!! The stream water going across the driveway is safe for your dog to drink. My dogs drink it all the time. Be advised we are a working farm so you will see woodpiles, machinery, such as Tractors and other items sometimes hanging around. This 17-acre site has diverse habitats, from an upland pine and hardwood forest to wild native meadows full of blueberries, asters and milkweed. The most special feature is a large tributary and creek waterway system with areas of wetland. Once choked with invasive plants, it is now a largely restored native plant and wildlife habitat that supports migrating herons, trout, amphibians and clouds of Monarch and other butterflies. In the fall I've seen Monarchs circle up in vortexes from the meadows and take off on their migration. There are several large swimming holes where the creek turns or joins with its tributary. Bridges have been installed over the tributary and over brooklets feeding into it. A lot of care and love is going into this land. Over 500 native trees planted along the creek banks are growing into a forest - you'll see many still in protective tubes and cages. Thousands of native pollinator ground-plants have been planted or sprung up on their own, some like tiny flowering gems on the shady forest floors. The old stone walls running through the property and around its boundaries speak to its history as a farm and an apple orchard. Swimming, hiking, fishing and bird-and-wildlife watching will fascinate you in this dynamic landscape that is constantly coming closer to what used to exist hundreds of years ago and is now reestablishing itself. In the vicinity, there's Tetta's, a deli/cafe/gas station and small emporium with made-to-order pizza, local raw honey, mushroom, crafts, and all kinds of food, pretty much everything you need; it's been in the family for generations. This cabin was exactly what my partner and I were looking for for a quiet two-day retreat that felt outdoorsy without all the work of true camping. Space heaters and a woodstove kept it fairly cozy for cold November nights, and there was a ton of wood available for the outdoor firepit. We enjoyed exploring the collection of board games and CDs inside, plus outdoor badminton and frisbee under the lights. Beautiful clear stargazing, and easy driving distance to some great hikes.

This was perfect! We stayed for a night on a cool fall night. Lots of space, and included a picnic table and fire ring. The brewery was great (we were there on a Saturday) the portapotty is a bit of a walk from this particular site, but it wasn’t too bad! The farmers market was walkable, but also a short drive. Be sure to check out the farmers market while you are there! Would definitely stay again.

Great spot for tents and small campervans! 🚐 🏕️ 🚽 Two private bathrooms with flush toilets and a sink, bonus points is the heater — came in clutch fir the chilly weekend! The grounds were nicely maintained as well. Thanks Harry for escorting us to our campsite! 🥾 Lots of hiking options nearby, but we opted for Bear Mountain — which was an hour drive back towards the city where we live.

Friendly staff and semi-private sites with ample space between the neighboring fire pits. Nearby some stunning hiking (Minnewaska and Mohank) and great eats (Bacchus in New Paltz especially recommended for vegetarians, beer lovers, and billiards). Just a wonderful getaway.

Wright’s farm is a beautiful location for tent or RV camping. There are several different sites to choose from. I was there at the end of October and all were quiet with beautiful views of the apple orchards and surrounding areas. There is a farm store on site that has all sorts of goodies. And a brewery open on the weekends. Will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area.

Great location! Just a 10 minute drive from Mohonk Mountain trails which we hiked before setting up camp. We arrived around dinner time and were able to snag a bite and drink at the brewery and listen to awesome live music! The staff were very lovely in both the brewery and attached market. Stayed at the Stonehenge site which was easy to find and equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Porta potty with sanitizing station was located a short walk away which was convenient even in the dark. There was another group camping in our area but they’re so well spaced that it felt private. If you’re a stargazer, this site is stunningly unobstructed. Would stay again!

Really beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The fall foliage was stunning. It was so fun watching sky divers in the distance right in front of our campsite, ridge view 1. This site felt private and was easily accessible. Also some pretty good stargazing when clouds broke.
