Tent camping was such a great time at this farm! The outhouse is super clean and convenient, hosts even left us some delicious eggs when we came in. Such a gorgeous property!

We had an amazing time staying at Madalyn’s place. The campsite is in the scenic spot and is very close to Minnewaska park (about 30 min drive). The host was friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Thanks Madalyn for your hospitality, we hope to get back soon!

Ralph and Casey are the best hosts. They communicated so well and the basket of eggs when we arrived was the sweetest surprise.
The campsite is stunning. It had enough space for 3 tents, two fire pits to choose from and a centrally located picnic table. There was also a camp toilet, which was great to have close by. The site is very private and the views are picturesque. It’s right by the pond in their yard where we could see the horses or go paddle boating.
The location is very close to town so if you forget anything, you are a five minute drive from necessities. I would absolutely recommend Reigning Hope Farm for a weekend away. We can’t wait to come back!

It was a beautiful property and campsite right next to the pond. Lots of shade as well and really amazing hospitality from Ralph and Casey. They even brought us some honey and fresh eggs as a welcome, and checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our stay and were comfortable. Has everything you need here! We hope to be back soon when we come and visit upstate NY again.

From the moment we arrived at Reigning Hope it felt like we were somewhere familiar. Casey greeted us with a big smile and little "care package" of farm fresh eggs and a jar of locally produced honey. Casey and her husband Ralph made us feel incredibly welcome. I got a tour of the BEAUTIFUL property on Casey's golf cart too! The property is incredible and I highly recommend you book this location and see for yourself. The weather wasn't ideal but we came prepared and had a wonderful weekend. We even got treated to a "meet and greet" with the chickens and ponies on the farm! That was a lot of fun! We will be coming back to Reigning Hope very soon! Casey and Ralph are wonderful hosts!

Had a great stay at this site--Ralph and Casey are both SO kind and accomodating, and the property was really lovely. It was my first camping experience in some decades and my 12 year old's first ever...we were a little nervous about the outhouse but it was super clean and built with so much obvious care. Both my kid and I had a great time meeting all the animals!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casey and Ralph's farm! The location is stunning, with a picturesque pond complete with a pedal boat that our kids couldn’t get enough of. The entire area is beautifully maintained and offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and tranquility. Our kids were especially delighted by the friendly animals Casey walked them through, making it an even more memorable experience for the whole family. We can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at Reigning Hope Mini Farm, hosted by Ralph and Casey, and it was a fantastic experience. From the start, Ralph and Casey gave me a warm welcome, complete with fresh chicken eggs, maple syrup, and honey. Their hospitality was exceptional.
The campsite was perfectly located near a pond, providing a private and serene setting. The paddle boat available at the pond was a lot of fun and added to the enjoyment of my stay.
Meeting their German Shepherd dogs and various farm animals was a highlight. The animals added a charming touch to the experience. Both Ralph and Casey were incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
At night, listening to the sounds of nature was wonderful. The designated campfire area made the evenings even more special, and having access to a bathroom was convenient and appreciated.
Overall, I had an amazing time at Reigning Hope Mini Farm. The combination of nature, friendly hosts, and charming animals made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

My daughter and I had a great time at this charming farm campsite. Our tent was set up behind a picturesque pond. We enjoyed fishing both from the shore and on a paddle boat, just tiny sun fish, but still fun. Casey, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and introduced us to the farm animals. My daughter especially loved brushing the pony and meeting the chickens.
We received a gift basket with fresh eggs from the chickens, maple syrup from the farm, and honey. The eggs were especially delicious. Ralph and Casey, the owners, were very sweet and accommodating. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience and my daughter is already asking when we can go back.

This is the third year in a row we have been to Ralph and Casey’s farm for my daughter’s birthday. They once again made the experience so special for her, and we are so grateful. She says it’s her favorite birthday tradition! The campsite was beautiful, as always, and so well located. We feel so lucky to have found this spot, and will return (hopefully for our daughter’s 9th birthday!).

Ralph and Casey are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts and we loved camping on their land! You can really tell how much they enjoy and care for their property and how they want campers to enjoy their time there, too. We really appreciated it and had so much fun on our stay.
In addition to Casey introducing us to their sweet animals, we really enjoyed taking the pedal boat out onto the pond and listening to wildlife sounds from inside the tent at night. And now we get to continue enjoying the good memories of our stay in the days to come because they were kind enough to give us eggs and local honey and maple syrup :) We both left feeling like we’d love to go back!

Perhaps the best experience we’ve had at a campground! Ralph and Casey were absolutely amazing, and truly passionate about hosting campers at their farm. This is the second time I have stayed with Ralph and Casey. Both times have been the best. The site is exactly as advertised. Quiet, pretty and easy to get to. The bathroom is a great touch and so nice to have. Casey was so nice to let us meet all her animals. Cannot recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to come back.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at Reigning Hope Farm. Casey and Ralph were very gracious and helpful. They were very attentive and welcoming, from the moment we booked it (communication was excellent, they responded quickly and checked on us while we stayed), when we got there they helped us bring our bags to the camping spot, which was closer to the woods, gifted us eggs and syrup…I have to say that in all the campsites we have been to (we camp every weekend), they have been the most kind and mindful hosts. They thought of every detail putting much effort into their visitor’s comfort. We felt safe and enjoyed their little piece of heaven. Definitely recommend it! They have chickens, ponies, etc. Great farm. You could hear the gunshots of a place near along with passing of the cars but it was minimum, it didn’t bother us.

Casey and Ralph were incredible hosts. They are kind, generous and so happy to share their beautiful farm space. They greeted us with some farm fresh eggs and helped to transport our things to the campsite which was spacious and private, overlooking the pond. We enjoyed a meet and greet with their farm animals which our daughter especially enjoyed. We were especially appreciative to have our dog join us for her first camping trip. They love dogs too! It was an amazing weekend with hiking and good eats nearby. We hope to return in the spring!

Casey & Ralph we’re outstanding hosts. Immediately when we arrive Casey was there to greet us with a basket of farm fresh eggs, maple syrup and honey. We really appreciated the kind gesture. On top of that they offered to transport all our belongings over to the campsite via their trailer. Their land is beautiful, spacious, and filled with fun farm animals. You can see chicken skipping around during the day or the mini horses grazing. They offered to let us charge our phones and play games inside their barn. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would potentially improve our stay would be to have access to a shower. This didn’t bother me much but I could see how it could for other people. The location is also next to a main road so there is a bit of traffic noise but it’s not loud, just something to consider if you’re looking for complete silence. 5 stars!

This was a great base spot to explore the Hudson River Valley area. It was our first time camping without our van at the site and it was no problem at all. Casey made two trips with our tent, canopy, multiple bins, cot, mat, coolers, etc. She was very willing to make other trips as needed during our stay but we didn’t need to. There was a great mix of sun and shade in the area. Plenty of room for our large tent and our large canopy. We had very heavy rain one morning and while there were some wet areas our tent and the canopy area were dry. The on-site trash can was conveniently located as was the very nice outhouse. The window with stained glass and the light roof on the outhouse made it brighter than normal. It’s really more like an outside toilet room than an outhouse. Great star views. My husband caught catfish and bass everyday at the pond. There is plenty to do to relax at the site but we also enjoyed visiting the area. The hosts were friendly and welcoming but we also felt that we had plenty of privacy too

Ralph & Casey are incredible hosts. They warmly welcomed us to the property with a welcome basket of eggs honey and maple syrup, helped us transport our items to the campsite, and explained everything to us very clearly. The campsite is well equipped with grates for the fires, a lidded trash can, a beautiful outhouse built by Ralph, and even a short trail through the woods. The views by the pond are beautiful, and you can even take the paddle boat for a spin. The property is quiet, with just the sounds of nature to lull you to sleep. The hosts took amazing care of us while still giving us space and privacy, and we felt very special, even though they do this often :) gas stations and grocery stores are a short 5 minute drive away as well. One note: definitely bring bug spray (a must for camping anywhere).

It was a phenomenal experience at Reining Hope farm. The communication was excellent. The property is beautiful with a pond, island, and horse farm. Casey and Ralph are as friendly as it gets and they do everything possible to make you feel comfortable, but also give you your space. They will even allow you to meet their farm animals if you would like to. I would definitely camp at their property again.

The place is very beautiful, with shadow. There is no other tent, we are alone at this Hicamp. The host is very caring and considerate. She helped us to carry all our equipment. She offered several gifts as a welcome.
