Of our three sites, this is the one set up for van and car camping. Park right at the site, close to the fire pit and picnic table. Enjoy the cedar trees and mossy woods that border the site. Just 100 ft from the natural spring.

A wooded campsite surrounded by moss, maple trees and a small creek. Listen to the sound of peepers in the duck pond close by. There are Acadia trails, swim spots & boat launches as close as 2 miles from property. Bar Harbor & the most popular hikes are a 15-25 minute drive from the property. On site you’ll find a smokeless fire pit with a grill & benches & a round picnic table. The site can fit two 4 person tents on nice flat ground. Small Additional tents may be squeezed in. If you have a large party, there is an additional Hipcamp site & Airbnb tiny home rentals under the Howling Woods. There is a natural spring on the property with an old fashioned pump for filling waters & an outhouse about 300 ft from the site.
