Quarrys Ledge was wonderful ! From the hospitable staff to the beautiful grounds, we had a great stay! The bathrooms were definitely note worthy as well, always clean and stocked. We stayed in a waterfront site which was definitely worth the extra money in my opinion. However, even the other campsites looked great. I also love that they gave an option to add firewood to the reservation - saved us a trip to the store! I highly recommend and would come back again!

Very cozy campsite, don’t expect much privacy but that’s what the backcountry is for. Facilities were very clean and the site itself was wonderful.

Acadia Base Camp

This campground was the perfect place for us "home" during our fall visit to Acadia. We are a self-contained unit when we are on the road. That being said, it was nice to hook upto power and refill our water tank during our stay. It was also nice to have hot showers available. The campground was quiet at night. I slept well at night. The site was very close to all of the hikes on MDI. Some just down the road, trailheads no more than a 30 minute drive away. The site firm ground and fairly level. Perfect for our campervan. Being on the westside of MDI, it is away from the constant traffic that you face near Bar Harbor. We would recommend staying here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The sites offer a great deal of privacy and the bath house is super clean and modern. We will highly recommend Quarry Ledge and definitely return!

Cabin

We loved staying in our little cabin for the week! Plenty of room for two of us and all our supplies, firewood and ice were available on the property and checking in/ out was a seamless process! Bathhouse was clean and readily available at all times! Would absolutely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Great campground! Close to it all!

We had such a great time at Quarry Ledge Campground! Beautiful area, so close to Acadia Bar Harbor but don’t sleep on the SW Harbor right down the road. We’ll make sure to camp here again on our next trip to Maine. Lisa and the staff were extremely helpful and communicative. 10/10!

Amazing site! Beautiful view right next to the water. Bathrooms with showers were very clean and comfortable. Very close to Acadia, about 20 minutes. Would love to stay here again.

Great location near Acadia

Very scenic sites. Close to Acadia. LShowers and bathrooms were extremely clean and appeared brand new. Sites are close together. Our first night was not full so we had plenty of privacy. The second night we had fellow campers in very close proximity. Not a deal breaker, but something to know. The bathrooms, showers and location are hard to beat.

Super big and very well maintained I walked into the showers felt like I was in a hotel lol One of the nicer campgrounds Also had a deck platform for my tent so I didn’t have to worry about wet ground rocks or anything poking through the tent Service was available anywhere Plus hot water and fire rings already set up with your own table n bench it’s really not much else you can ask for

This campground is well kept. The sites are close together, but the campers were quiet at night. The property is very clean and in an extremely convenient location to access Acadia National Park. I would stay at this location again.

Camping near Bar Harbor

We stayed for three days and had the best experience. It was quiet, clean, and the 30 amp back in was spacious and somewhat private. The bathrooms were very clean with plenty of hot water and roomy showers with plenty of room to sit your stuff where it won’t get wet. It was easy to find our site and staff were pleasant.

Arrived after hour and they left a very clear map with a line drawn from the entrance location to the campsite! Super easy to follow. Also, there was lots of signage that really helped to easily find campsite in dark along with aforementioned map. Also, campsite was nice and clean and had a fine gravel on it. Planets of space to pull in car and set up tent. There was fire pit that we didn’t use, picnic table that we did use, and overall lots of space. Bathhouse was clean and appreciated and had its own parking which was great.

We loved Quarry Ledge; we would really consider coming back. There were beautiful campsites, clean bathrooms, and very close to Acadia. We were not super fans of how close we were to other campsites. We were kept up both nights as our neighbor was snoring like a chainsaw and saw multiple naked neighbors. Wish we could have heard more wildlife and less of our neighbors at 4 am. Overall would recommend if you bring earplugs!

It was such an easy experience staying with Quarry Ledge! Any questions I had were promptly answered by Lisa through the message chat and after hour check-in was super seamless. The area is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous landscapes right on the water. It was an easy hook up to the AMP and an overall incredible trip. Can’t wait to come back!!

Very nice and much underused campground. While all the hotels and towns were full of people enjoying Acadia, I felt nicely secluded with my neighboring spots empty, and even when one was occupied the second night there was still plenty of space. It felt like the campground was only half occupied, and everyone was nicely spaced out and respectful. My site had a nice platform to build camp on, space to park a car, a stone fire pit, a clean picnic table, and even power and water tap access. Down the hill in the center of the campground is a very clean restroom/shower building (with hot water and real doors on separate stalls!), and a few port-a-potties are spaced around the camp sites. The little pond as well as ocean access are very nice touches, just a couple public sitting areas with options to paddle boat, launch your kayak, or rent something. I spent most of my two-and-a-half days exploring Acadia, most of which is easily within a half hour drive. If I find more time to return, this campground will definitely be on my list.

Canadian Happy Camper

This is such an amazing campsite. I can't say enough about the facilities and our actual campsites. But most importantly the staff couldn't do enough for you and were so helpful and friendly. It is located in the middle of the Park so it is so easy to get to all the spots that you want to explore in Acadia National Park. Love this place and will absolutely go back.
