To enter, turn onto Powers Drive and take a sharp left into the first driveway and onto the grass back toward rte 1. Park parallel with Powers Drive Lane near the big oaks. Pajaritaflora Artist Studio/Gallery is located here. I am an artist. Welcome to my studio property. There is a long spacious spot for most sizes RV. It has level grass for you to park on. There is a group fire pit area on the grounds for everyone. Many people do not need electricity these days. So I have lowered the price of the spot. It is without electricity. You can add it on if you wish at $20 per night. You will need a long extension, and it is 20 amps. I have water for your holding tank. Sorry, no sewer. This is an excellent spot for a short stay. It is good if you need to be here a couple of days prior to your campground stay! I have been enjoying hosting campers here for the past two seasons. I can't wait to meet you! This is my third season here.

The Cabin is 75’ from Old County Road and 200’ from the parking area. A cell phone booster is at the campground which works good and runs all the time and no wifi or power at the cabins off grid. Shower is located at the cabins. We are located 2 miles from Route 1 Milbridge and about 2 miles from Route 1A Milbridge and we just fixed the Old County Road and the parking area and the road is settling from being fixed but low cars have been making into the parking area with no problems. The paths are primitive and not suited for people who have trouble walking on uneven ground. We provide solar lights, propane stove, propane, natural bug spray, battery bank charger, 1 small bottled water per guests and sleeping bags. Heat provided from Oct 1 to April 30. No Out of State Maine Firewood. No water at the shower from October 15 to April 30 because of the frost.

Our area has abundant small wildlife. We regularly see rabbits, geese, ducks, beaver, eagles, osprey and of course loons. Kayak over to our private island where there are blueberries, and a mating pair of eagles. Paddle over, have lunch, pick some blueberries for your morning cereal, go for a swim. You could also kayak through the thoroughfare to Holbrook Pond. The site is small, just 1 acre and we do live very close by. You will have privacy, but you may hear or see us or our dogs at points during your stay. We will provide a few jugs of water, but you may want to bring some of your own. Cookware, plates, cups, utensils, and cooler are available for use. There is also a gas grill available. Linens will be provided if you don't bring your own, however the bed might not be made up. Our work schedules don't allow us to be how before 4:00 to clean up from previous campers. When checking out, please strip the bed and leave in tote. Thank you for your understanding.

This wall tent is located 4 miles from the ferry terminal on North Haven. You will need transportation to the property. The ferry run three times a day and it can be an issue getting a vehicle on and off during the busy season. Walking on (or biking) and off the ferry is usually not an issue but there's no taxi service on the island. The wall tent is 12x14 with a full-sized bed, wood stove, fire pit, and an outhouse. Water is provided and there is also a spring nearby that is safe to drink. The tent sits on 100+ acres of beautiful woods and ponds that are free to explore. Our area has abundant small wildlife. We regularly see rabbits, geese, ducks, beaver, eagles, osprey and of course loons. Kayak over to our private island where there are blueberries, and a mating pair of eagles. Paddle over, have lunch, pick some blueberries for your morning cereal, go for a swim. You could also kayak through the thoroughfare to Holbrook Pond. The site is small, just 1 acre and we do live very close by. You will have privacy, but you may hear or see us or our dogs at points during your stay. We will provide a few jugs of water, but you may want to bring some of your own. This wall tent is located 4 miles from the ferry terminal on North Haven. You will need transportation to the property. The ferry run three times a day and it can be an issue getting a vehicle on and off during the busy season. Walking on (or biking) and off the ferry is usually not an issue but there's no taxi service on the island. The wall tent is 12x14 with a full-sized bed, wood stove, fire pit, and an outhouse. Water is provided and there is also a spring nearby that is safe to drink. The tent sits on 100+ acres of beautiful woods and ponds that are free to explore. Dogs are welcome, there are 3 resident dogs, 2 collies that will greet you and a retired guardian dog that you may spy making her rounds. Also a couple of sheep, possibly pigs, and various fowl. Martha is always willing to give a tour of her farm garden. There are no official hiking trails on the property, lots of hiking trails on the island. North Haven is quiet and a friendly island, with lots of exploring and hiking available. Depending on the time of year there are several restaurants/bars open in town including; Calderwood, North Haven Brewing, Nebo Lodge, and The Landing. The island offers some great farm stands for produce and meat, also depending on the time of year. North Haven Inn and Market is 1.5 miles from the wall tent where you can get all of the necessities. Walking on (or biking) and off the ferry is usually not an issue but there's no taxi service on the island. The wall tent is 12x14 with a full-sized bed, wood stove, fire pit, and an outhouse. Water is provided and there is also a spring nearby that is safe to drink. The tent sits on 100+ acres of beautiful woods and ponds that are free to explore. Dogs are welcome, there are 3 resident dogs, 2 collies that will greet you and a retired guardian dog that you may spy making her rounds. Also a couple of sheep, possibly pigs, and various fowl. Martha is always willing to give a tour of her farm garden. There are no official hiking trails on the property, lots of hiking trails on the island. North Haven is quiet and a friendly island, with lots of exploring and hiking available. Depending on the time of year there are several restaurants/bars open in town including; Calderwood, North Haven Brewing, Nebo Lodge, and The Landing. The island offers some great farm stands for produce and meat, also depending on the time of year. North Haven Inn and Market is 1.5 miles from the wall tent where you can get all of the necessities. This was my second stay at the Biker’s Bunkhouse, and it was just as awesome as the first. I spent three nights in the cozy barn tucked close to the wolves, and it was incredible drifting off to the sound of their howls at night. Heather is an attentive host who makes sure you have everything you need. I slept great, felt completely relaxed, and can’t wait to come back.

The tent and campsite were perfect, well-maintained, and provided a gorgeous spot to unwind. My dog loved being able to be off-leash here, and we both enjoyed running on the beach. Super helpful hosts and a nice Hipcamp. It is as advertised for the most part being a rustic cabin. We've stayed in many rustic cabins through Hipcamp. A few things to note: Even though there is a woodstove (we used every night to keep us warm) the cabin does not hold heat because the walls to the cabin have large gaps so we had to use 4 bundles of hardwood a night to keep it comfortable at night (temps in the 20° to mid 30°s) We were somewhat prepared because we knew it wasn't insulated but we were not expecting the amount of heat loss due to all the gaps in the cabin. There are other campsites on the property which are a good distance away (some within sight) We got a little freaked out by a group of campers walking up to the cabin at 10:30 at night and waking us up. (Definitely not the host's fault) but just be aware it's not the most secluded. Being in the cabin it was a little quieter but this spot is off a main road so there is a bit of noise from that but definitely not something that would completely deter me. The host was very helpful when we mentioned that we'd like to drive up to the cabin. They told us we were not able to do that (I'd just suggest taking that as an option off the listing because we chose this site in part because of that having 4wd) but they offered to help us bring our stuff with another wagon attached to the owners tractor which was very nice. The cabin is equipped with everything you would need for rustic camp: pots, pans, water, utensils.

Robert's cabin at Tilden Pond is a wonderfully secluded get away spot with a beautiful woods walk (15mins) to the pond. We were happy about being able to park next to the cabin for easy unloading of gear. We liked making meals over a camp stove we brought and at the fire pit to calls of loons and owls. We brought our own tent but opted to stay in the cabin on the cots provided, which were comfortable with our sleeping pads and bags. Our dog loved having the woods to romp in unleashed. The sunset at the pond was a highlight. On a future trip we hope to take advantage of the double kayak. We saw others kayaking, sailing, and fishing off in the distance. Robert has done a good job repairing the road recently but it is important to have a truck or vehicle with good clearance to drive in. We loved having both Belfast and Camden only minutes away.

The kitchen looked great, though we were so busy trekking in Acadia that we didn't really use it; we opted for local diners and brunch spots. It is very easy to find, no matter how late or dark it is, because it is really just off Route 1. The tent and surrounding areas were super clean, and you just needed to sit and enjoy the beautiful water view.

My son (age 12) and I have been to Four Acre Woods for the last 2 years and really enjoyed it. The first year we tent camped and this year we stayed in the yurt. The campground is very small, which we like and each site is unique. Lots of amenities for such a small campground, they really think of the little things that keeps camping comfortable. The yurt was wonderful and the campsite has everything you need (we brought too much stuff). Just bring yourself, clothes, and food and you are good to go. We are fairly local, so it is a great weekend getaway, but we don't really explore the area when camping. If you want to experience the downeast Maine coast away from the more touristy spots, this is where you want to go.

A frame is well equipped and quiet even with some windy nights. Bed was a bit small for me plus wife, but any larger would be tough to fit in the cabin I presume; would stay again!

This little cabin is secluded in the woods. There is a 200 foot path leading to it. On the right you will find an outhouse and outdoor shower, complete with hot water. On the left is the little cabin. On the porch is a barbeque grill with a griddle on 1 side. In the cabin you will find a double hot plate, coffee maker, tea jug with potable water, pots and pans as well as paper goods. For sleeping there is a full size bed in the loft and a pull out couch on the first floor (there is also a cot if need be). Though it is not far from the main house the cabin is surrounded by trees and is very private. Hiking trails abound in many directions. From a quick trip to the top of our Blueberry Hill to day hikes on the Coastal Mountain land trust trails. In nearby Camden, Rockland and Belfast, restaurants, shopping and galleries abound.
