Come enjoy the magic of Maine through a rustic and authentic glamping experience. The site is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a little ease from sleeping on the [xxxxxxxx] tent is private, cozy, and surrounded by nature. A local swimming beach is 10 minutes down the road and the property is located less than 45 minutes from Acadia National Park. A couple gallons of drinkable water will be provided for guests. Anything beyond that the camper needs to bring. A refrigerator is not on the property, but a cooler is available for storing food. Please bring your own ice. A modest bucket shower is available if you want to heat water on the stove and rinse off. A clean bucket toilet is on the property. Bedding is provided, but please bring your own towels. I adore this spot!! I was visiting Acadia for a solo trip and felt so safe and cozy here. Absolutely loved being surrounded by humming birds and deer. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely magical time staying in Heather’s little spot in the forest. We loved the privacy, the surrounding evergreens, the amenities - everything about it! We got to know some regulars, including a family of deer, a few lightening bugs, and a very curious hummingbird. Would 10/10 recommended if you’re looking to find some peace and natural beauty in your life.

Perfect spot for us! Very private which we loved. Awesome fire pit set up nestled in the trees! The beach nearby was gorgeous and we loved the lobster shack down the road!

Heather’s place was perfect! Very comfortable with everything we needed and more than we expected. Only drawback was distance to MDI, which took about 45 to 55 minutes. Would stay there again and I believe my wife saw a Lynx prowling about the property.

Private Glamping
Check in was easily arranged and Heather accommodated our requests. The tent is well constructed and decorated, the candles were lovely the kitchen area was well stocked, and the fire pit was cute, though the grill was too small for the pit so it was hard to cook on. The property is gorgeous, with lots of wonderful light, dahlias, wood, and moss. Note that the ground is uneven, which could be challenging for some.We spent three days at the nearby beach which was indeed, spectacular.

Such a great spot! Heather laid the space out thoughtfully with lots of touches that made our stay comfortable and magical. The wood stove was so great and the small camping stove worked well to meet our needs. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible weekend
Private Glamping
This was an exceptional weekend camping on Heather’s land! Heather provides all the essentials while still being able to soak up the wilderness and feel completely removed from modern day hustle and bustle. Perfect place and space to unplug. Close to tons of naturalist activities +more. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very Private. Very Peaceful!

We secured this awesome HipCamp with the intention of exploring nearby Acadia. While we did enjoy the surrounding areas, our highlight was sticking around camp and enjoying the local beach and lobster shack. So relaxing! Cozy! Peaceful! Everything was perfect for us. Thank you Heather!
